Akeyla and Aniyah were twins whose mother was murdered by their own father. The twins got separated due to circumstances. To save their company from folding up and so to keep their family's reputation, Aniyah's foster father gave Akeyla an offer to impersonate Aniyah who had gotten into an accident and was in a coma. She would have to deceive Aniyah's fiance, Jayson, and pretend to be Aniyah. Akeyla had no choice but to take up the offer, she needed the money anyways. Besides, it was only for a few months and then everything would be over.
