Chapter 105: Chapter 105
"Mommy, are you okay?" my son, Gio, asked.
His eyebrows furrowed as he stared at me, as if he could not understand my emotion right now. I smiled and forced a smile while frowning at him. We are here now in the room; it's eight o'clock and they need to sleep.
"I am fine, son. I'm just thinking about something," I replied and glanced at his twin sleeping soundly next to him.
Gia fell asleep first, mom told me that she was tired from playing with Daddy earlier.
"Don't forget to rest, Mom," Gio reminded.
I smiled and nodded. I gently bent down and kissed him on the forehead, I did the same to his sister.
I thought he was going to sleep, but he still kept looking at me. It's like someone wants to ask a question but does not know how to start.
"Is there a problem, son?" I said sweetly then told him to the other side.
I usually sleep between them, but because of my son's behavior, I thought that I needed to talk to him first.
"I don't know if I am allowed to ask it," he murmured.
Just from his question I already had a feeling about what it was about, or should it be more correct to say who. I heaved a deep breath and caressed his hair. Making him comfortable.
Suddenly, I remembered the engagement invitation that Agustine's fiancee gave me. I still don't know why I am invited. I do not want to go so I don't get involved with them, but on the other hand I don't want them to think that I am still affected by everything.
"Is it about your dad?" I asked.
Slowly, he nodded his head. "You have been meeting him, right?" he carefully asked.
"Hmm. For business."
He was silent for a moment. I felt his fingers moving under the comforter so I continued stroking his hair.
"You can ask anything about your dad, baby," I assured him.
"Will you tell him about us, Mommy?" He lifted his gaze to look at me. "I mean, is there a possibility?"
I gave him a short smile and nodded. His eyes widened at my answer. He did not finish there, he even leaned over to face me to see me properly.
"I have no plans of hiding you and Gia, son. But . . ." I stopped for a moment. "It's not that easy to tell him either. As you know, your Daddy has another family," I added.
"I understand, Mommy. Do you think . . . he will accept us?"
I did not answer right away. I saw the quick sadness in his eyes because of my hesitation, so in the end I just sighed and hugged him tightly.
"I am sorry, baby. I don't even know the answer to your question. But one thing that I am sure about is, I will always be here for you, for Gia. I will love you so much, and I will never leave the both of you."
He hugged back and pressed his body to mine.
"Are you mad at Mommy?" I asked softly.
He immediately shook his head. "I will never get mad at you, Mom."
The corners of my eyes quickly warmed up at his response. We stayed in each other's arms for a few minutes until I gently pulled away and faced him. This time, I badly want to do something for my twins. If earlier I hesitated to inform Agustine about them, now I have made up my mind.
I will end this soon. The time will also come when Agustine finds out about them, regardless of the result it will be the same.
"Do you want to go with Mommy tomorrow? You and Gia?" I swallowed the lump in my throat. "M-maybe your Daddy will come. D-do you want to meet him?"
His mouth likewise parted in disbelief as his eyes widened. He blinked twice and like me, he swallowed slowly. Even though he didn't know the answer to my question, I could see the excitement and fear in his eyes.
"Do you think it's the right time to tell him, Mom?" he asked when he finally composed himself.
I tried to smile. "The important thing, son, is that you don't have to hide from him in case you meet again."
"Isn't it better, rather than hating us when he finds out?" He looked away.
His answer seemed to stab my chest with a dagger. There is a chance that Agustine doesn't like children, that's one thing I fear. Just thinking about the pain it will cause them makes me weak.
I heaved a deep breath and tried hard to smile. "It is his loss, baby. My twins are so handsome and beautiful. Hmmp!"
He let out a small smile before hugging me again. "Thank you, Mom," he whispered.
"For both of you, baby. Mommy will do anything." Once again, I kissed his forehead. "No matter what happens, I will stay with you," I assured.
Gio did not speak anymore until I felt his heavy breathing. He's finally asleep. I was about to get up to move between them when my cell phone rang.
I immediately felt it on the bedside table and looked at it. My chest heaved quickly when I saw Agustine's familiar number. I don't know why I feel nervous. Is it because of my plan to introduce the children tomorrow or because of what happened earlier at his house.
In an instant, the brief memory of us flashed back through my mind.

"Tell me. Do you have a live in partner, Khrystal?"
I swallowed hard. His face was so close to mine that almost one wrong move would make me stick to him.
"W-What live in partner?" I barely replied.
His eyes went darker. "Boyfriend."
My lips did not help themselves. The term he used for that came back to my mind.
"Live in partner? Shouldn't you call my boyfriend who will be living with me a husband or fiance?" I bravely said ack.
His lips formed a smirk. "Husband?" he mocked.
My eyes immediately narrowed at his tone. Anger slowly consumed my system and that's when I was able to push him away.
"You know what, Mr. Revelar. You shouldn't care who else I'll have here. Now, if you want to sell it. Prepare the contract and I'll prepare my payment. The conversation is over." I hit him and quickly walked away.
He's arrogant, isn't he? Just because he has a fiancee. What does he think of me? Not worthy to me married?
Shh!

I couldn't help but be pissed when I finished looking back. I can still hear in my ears the tone he used on me earlier. Annoying.
I carefully got out of bed and then checked his message. My eyes squinted at his text. I don't know if it was really for me or if he was just mistaken.
Unregistered Number
You can never get married.
I was stunned as I read that over and over again.
'If that message was for me. Well, fvckyou.'
Unconsciously, due to my annoyance. I could not stop myself from replying.
Just wait, Agustine. I will invite you to my wedding. I will even make you a godfather. You annoying man.
