Chapter 35: Chapter 35

Ruhaan's P.O.V.

After jogging for a while, me and Shaan got back to my house. After getting freshen up, we started preparing our breakfast as we used to make once.

When we were done, kaki entered the house and seeing us like this, she smiled heartily and spoke up, "Now you two sit on the table. I am setting it."

"We will do it ourselves kaki. You don't bother. By the way how are you? Long time no see." Shaan spoke up looking at her.

"Alhamdulillah, I am fine, son. Yes, long time. When did you get back?" Kaki replied to him smilingly.

"Few days back kaki." I answered her while taking the tray of our breakfast.

"That's good you are back now." saying this, she started cleaning the kitchen as I moved to dinning table taking our breakfast.

While taking our breakfast, I asked Shaan, "By the way what are you thinking of doing now?"

Without answering, he gave me a questioning look. So I again spoke up, "I mean, you have already completed your studies. So what's your plan now?"

While eating, he answered casually as if it was an obvious thing, "I will join you in business."

I got shocked hearing him and uttered, "What?"

He looked at me and asked, "Why? Can't I?"

I answered with hesitation, "Yes, you can but shouldn't you join uncle in his business?"

With the least of interest, he answered, "I don't want to join him in his business."

"But Shaan" I tried to say something but got interrupted by him.

Looking at me spoke up sadly, "Abbu also asked me to join his business. Though I didn't bother to remind him then but vai, have you also forgotten which course I attended!"

I got silent for a moment then spoke up, “I didn’t forget. It’s just..Anyways I am sorry.”

He smiled sadly and answered, “It’s okay.” and started eating again.

I knew he was hurt. I didn’t forget. It’s just all of a sudden he said that he would join me in business and I answered him as per his word.

Looking at him, I again called his name softly and uttered, “Shaan, I said, I am sorry.”

He looked at me and spoke up smilingly, “And I said, it’s okay vai.”

Then I again asked him, “When are you taking your tests?”

“At the last of this month.” he replied while eating.

Nodding at him, I also started eating. After finishing our breakfast, I got up and said, “I need to go to office. You also should head back your home.”

“Okay. But vai, please don’t skip your meals and if anything happens, just give me a call and I will be there.” I could feel his concern in his voice.

I smilingly nodded at him and he left for his home and I went to my room. Getting ready, I left for my office.

Entering office, I didn’t directly go to my cabin. I entered Tithy’s cabin. She seemed so lost somewhere that she couldn’t realise that. Her expression was all sad.

I kept calling her name but she didn’t came to earth. When I called her name little loudly, “Tithy?”, she got startled and seeing me, she immediately stood up and apologised, “I am sorry sir.”

But before I could ask her something, she asked me in a concerned tone, “Sir, are you alright you?”

When I replied, “Yes.”, she smiled heartily and right then her phone rang off. She looked at me and I left her cabin saying, “Come to my cabin after 15 minutes.”

Tithy's P.O.V.

Sitting on my chair in my cabin I kept thinking about Api. I didn’t know what gotten into me that I went on speaking all those to Api. I knew, it’s not true that she doesn’t believe on me.

But her worrisome face bothered me. And I just spoke up whatever came to my mind without thinking too much. Why is she tensed so much! I didn’t understand her well. I knew she loves me and Ma a lot but it doesn’t mean she would behave like that.

I was lost in my thoughts when someone called me only to make me got startled. I looked at the person and stood up immediately and apologised as it was Ruhaan sir.

Then it hit me and I looked at him. Though he wasn’t looking sick, I asked him for myself if he was alright. When he said that he was alright, a smile crept on my lips.

Right then my phone rang off and seeing the caller ID, I looked at him. Sir left my cabin saying, “Come to my cabin after 15 minutes.”

It was Api. Staring at her smiling face that was flashing on my phone screen,  I was wondering whether I should receive the call but by the time, the line got cut.

With a thought of calling her later and leaving the phone on the table, I forwarded towards Ruhaan sir's cabin.

I entered his cabin after knocking. He kept staring at me for a moment and then asked me, “Everything alright?”

Without uttering anything, I just nodded at him. He again spoke up, “Tithy, it’s okay. You can tell me.”

I could feel his concern in his voice but I couldn’t decide what to tell him and said, “Everything is alright, Sir.”

Maybe he felt my hesitation as he spoke up, “Okay then.” and handed me a file and continued, “Report me the progress of the current project in details before lunch time and arrange a meeting on that after lunch time”

I left his cabin saying, “Okay Sir.” and came to my cabin. Taking the notepad, I forwarded towards other department to collect information totally forgetting about calling Api back.

Roshni's P.O.V.

Entering my cabin, I tried to focus on my work but couldn’t as Tithy’s word kept bothering me. I never thought my behaviour would make her think like that.

It’s not that I don’t believe her. But she herself is not okay. She didn’t even know her true identity and all the things happening to us is making me behave like this.

How would I explain this to her!

My thought got interrupted when my mind chided, “At least talk to her.” Nodding at that I called her but she didn’t answer the call.

I was about to call her again but Hena came to my cabin and informed me that we had a meeting.

Taking a file, I forwarded towards the meeting room after that I got busy with my work.

It was lunch time but I was still busy with the project plan on which the meeting was held. I made a plan and thought of handing that to the company to have a look.

Then I my eyes caught the sight of that company name and with a thought of meeting her, I went to Murat sir to ask of his permission to forward with the plan.

Having a look at the plan, he approved that and I forwarded towards Ahmed industry.

When I reached there, it was 4 by afternoon. I called Tithy again but she ignored my call this time as well. I went up to the receptionist and she informed me that a meeting was going on and asked me to wait.

After waiting for half an hour, the meeting ended. I saw Tithy coming out of the meeting room following Ruhaan. When I saw that she was about to follow him to his cabin, I uttered a little loudly to her hearing.

She turned towards me but entered Ruhaan's cabin ignoring me. “She is still upset”, I thought in mind and kept awaiting her.

When she didn’t come out instantly, I entered the cabin after knocking. Ruhaan was talking to her but seeing me, he stopped. I went towards him and forwarded the file of project plan to him.

Without looking at me, Tithy left the cabin saying, “Sir, I am coming back after completing the report.”

Ruhaan took the file and gave me a questioning look and uttered, “Any problem?”

“No. I have prepared a plan for our project. You should have a look and tell me if you want any changes.”

“That’s okay. But ” He tried to say something but I spoke up again, “Now if you excuse me?”

He nodded and said, “Okay. I will let you know about the plan.”

I nodded at that and went towards Tithy’s cabin.

I entered her cabin after knocking. Seeing me, she got startled at first then continued to keep her busy with a file. Seeing her like this, I could easily tell she was still upset with me.

I forwarded towards her and spoke up, “I am sorry sweetie.” but got interrupted when Ruhaan entered the cabin.

He looked at me then turned to Tithy and then again at me. Tithy was still working on the file. Looking at the situation, anybody could sense something was off...
