Chapter 60: Chapter 60
Louis forced a smile. The boy has a rapt hearing ability and he likes it that way. "I mean to say your mother will come to love us and let her soul be filled with love rather than revenge" Louis paraphrased his words.
Maybe the boy understood his words or not, David nodded and smiled faintly. It wasn't long, Louis Hayden and the boys were playing games and deliberately letting the boys win over him.
He played like a little boy himself and that helped the kids to mingle freely with him and not see him as an adult or their daddy, the one they just met.
An hour later, the grand nanny came over and announced that it was time to go to bed. Louis accompanied them to their large bedroom and watched them being bathed by their nannies and dressed in pyjamas.
Soon he kissed them all goodnight and went to his study. He felt a wave of excitement. His kids were spending the night at his mansion for the first time.
He had looked forward to it from that night he knew they were alive and not gone like he had thought for many years. From that day, he's been reading a lot of books on how to become a great dad.
He dedicated a shelf in his library to such books. Different journals and handbooks written by different authors and child specialists were all on his shelf.
He had watched some videos as well and eventually, sealed it up by consulting a specialist in child psychology. And the result is that he had blended easily with the children and in turn, they saw him as a long time friend of theirs.
But he knew Pamela would probably not find it easy to sleep that night. She must be worried about her kids, spending the night without them probably for the first time isn't going to be easy with her.
He didn't want it to happen this way but she was adamant and didn't for once consider how he felt about the kids. He can't help it, time will heal it all.
Someone has to lose for the other to win. It's not always win, win all the time by both parties. He has to win for her to lose this time and his excitement is causing her grief and unhappiness.
But he wants to care for her, he wants to bring her to his side and make her his woman. But she's stubborn, arrogant and inconsiderate.
I love you Pamela, I wish you and I can be together. He wished she was there to hear him say those words. But no, even if she's there, she still might not hear, because her heart is filled with vengefulness.
Pamela rolled from one end of her bed to the other. She missed her boys and daughter. Will they be able to sleep without her around them, to read their favourite bedtime stories?
They could handle this peacefully without having to take them away from her forcefully. Why is Louis bent on hurting her? He's done it once and kept doing it over and over to her.
Maybe she will go and find him in his office the next morning. She has to make him realise that only she can be with the kids, until they are grown and ready to make the decision of which parents they want to be with.
She had sobbed and now, it seemed her tears had refused to flow anymore. She will not sob anymore. Whatever happens, sobbing will no longer be her way of showing her strength.
It makes her look weak, helpless and vulnerable to attack. She is a strong woman, one from the royal bloodline.
The next morning, Louis Hayden left the mansion early and had his breakfast packed for him. He had a conference that morning and he was planning on travelling for the execution of his new project alongside Miranda Alvan.
He didn't wait for the kids to be awake before he left. He went to their rooms and kissed their temple each before dashing out. He double instructed the bodyguards and securities not to let anyone into his Mansion behind his back.
He got to the office and was done with the conference. He felt his stomach churned and decided to have his breakfast.
His mini dinning was erected and he just dug his cutleries into his noodles when his door suddenly pushed open and Pamela dashed in.
His bodyguards followed her in and was going to tell her to get the fuck out when Louis told them to Leave. He paused and pushed his breakfast side.
The scene of the day he dashed into Pamela's office flashed through his mind. That day, he was also unstoppable and despite the harassment from her securities and bodyguards, he still succeeded in walking past them into her office.
The same company and securities have become his employees now. Now, they bowed their heads and wouldn't dare to raise it before him.
One day, Pamela also might become the boss lady. These men will have to bow before her and never dare to offend her again.
The bodyguards bowed and glared at Pamela before Walking out. They stood at the door and waited in case the boss called for them again.
"Return my kids back to me Louis' 'Pamela seethed. She glared at Louis and saw him looking nonchalant. Can't he see through her pains?
"If you have come here to repeat the same old tattering, then I don't have your time. You can get the fuck out of my office" Louis ordered.
"You are sick Louis. You abducted my children and dare to think I am tattering? You are too much and thoughtless Louis Hayden.
I have been through a lot to have those kids. You can have other kids with your girlfriend Miranda Alvan and raise them but definitely not my own children.
Instead of fucking her all day and taking her everywhere like a handbag, get her pregnant and have other kids, or aren't you a man anymore?
Anyways, I don't care if you are still potent or impotent, all I want is my children. Give them back and I won't trouble you anymore…" Pamela went on rattling when Louis thundered.
"Enough Pamela Johnson. If you have personal problems, you can find another venue and convenient time to talk about it. This is my office, Miss.
Just take it that you lose to me. Everything you ever got and pride yourself over are mine now and that includes those amazing kids. They are mine!
The earlier you get this reality into your thick skull, the better it will be for you. They are never coming to you, get this hard truth once and for all.
Don't come pestering me anymore. I have respected you in my own way Pamela and that's what I have never given to any woman besides my mother. Don't push me to show you the other side of Louis Hayden!"
His voice was frosty and his eyes had gone daring and furious. He glared at Pamela and she looked away.
These looks were the same he had that day when he divorced her and forced her into having an abortion. She hadn't seen him like this for the past few months.
"All I want is my children, Louis," Pamela insisted. This time, the tempo of her voice was normal, like someone pleading. She can't stand this fierce stare of his.
"Sue me Pamela. If you win, then you have them. Don't step foot in my office and in Hayden's cooperation anymore. Because if you do, I will completely forget that you are my babies' mama. Now, get out!" He ordered.
But rather than leave, Pamela stood and glared at him. They both glared at each other, no one was willing to look away first.
"Guards" Louis called, still glaring at this stubborn annoying woman standing before him. And yet, in a corner of his heart, he loves her.
Two bodyguards got in and were dazed at the feisty gaze between their boss and this woman. This doesn't look good at all. Are they quarrelling over something?
"Take this woman out of my office. If I see her anywhere around my company, I will cripple all of you. Tell others and the securities to watch against her otherwise, I swear to you, I will cripple all of you" Louis threatened.
His eyes still fixed on Pamela. Each of the bodyguards wanted to hold her wrist and walked her out of Louis Hayden's office when Pamela thundered "if you dare to lay your filthy hands on me, I won't cripple you, I will castrate you" she warned.
Louis Hayden chuckled and his stare softened. This woman never ceases to amaze him. Castrate two men? Looks like she was more ruthless than him after all.
She turned around and walked out of Louis' office. Only then did Louis look away. He was no longer interested in having his breakfast. He called his secretary and she cleared the table.
The rest of the day went sour for Louis. He doesn't feel like seeing anyone and he had three days left before travelling. He doesn't want to talk to her so hard but she can't help but to keep forcing him to handle her the hard way.
Louis Hayden left the company early and went home. His mind was filled with thoughts. Will Pamela forget about the kids and leave the city?
Freya and her brother Greg had just rushed Freddie to hospital. Freddie collapsed while taking his bath and none of them knew until Freya went into the room to check on him.
