Chapter 58: Chapter 58
Pamela's phone chirped. She glanced at her phone screen and saw that the call was coming from her kids' school. Quickly she answered the phone.
"Hello…" Pamela said as soon as she answered the phone. She was going to ask if everything was fine when the shaky voice of the school administrator declared:
"The kids have been taken…" she was saying when Pamela blurted "By Louis' men?" There is only one person who can contend with her over the kids. And that person can only be Louis Hayden.
"No, not his men, he came himself and took them away from us. And your daughter recognises him as her father" the administrator explained.
She has no idea that President Hayden is the kid's father. But when Dora ran to him and hugged him chiming in excitement and calling him daddy, she couldn't doubt the relationship he shared with the kids.
"Where are they now?" Pamela asked. She was so furious that she almost poke blood. How dare Louis go and take her kids from school?
"I don't know. He just drove them off in his car" the school administrator announced. When she hung up, she felt her hands shivered.
When President Hayden arrived, he had come directly into her office, accompanied by her secretary. He didn't accept her kind gesture of taking a seat.
He requested that he wants to get his kids. And before she could ask who his kids are, she saw Dora ran out of her classroom and yelling "daddy"
Louis Hayden picked her up and kissed her, his eyes filled with a lot of love and emotions. The little girl circled her hand around his neck, smiling and feeling ecstatic.
"I want the boys as well," he declared. The administrator was uncomfortable. Miss Pamela didn't tell the school management about her kids father or that someone else by the name Louis Hayden can come and fetch them.
"I'm sorry sir, I can't let you take the kids away without Miss Pamela's permission. She's the only parent of the kids that we know. We have to ask her first before you can take the kids"
He simply placed his daughter on her feet and one of his bodyguards came over and Carried her. He then turned and glared at the administrator "You will do as I say.
And if you won't, the first thing I will do is to buy the school and the next thing is to fire you. Now, take me to the boys!" He thundered.
His voice started off as calm but his last words were authoritative and it was an order. She nodded and then asked Louis Hayden to sign some papers before he could have access to the kids.
But a man came to whisper into Louis' ears and he grinned. "Tell Pamela Johnson that I have taken my kids. She knows where to find me" Louis Hayden declared and took long strides out of her office.
She walked hurriedly behind him and saw the three boys were being carried like little princes by each of his bodyguards and were heading towards their car.
There were three cars in total. Louis Hayden walked into one and the four kids were placed two in each car. The bodyguards got into the various cars and right before her eyes, he zoomed off.
She immediately informed the police and next, she called Miss Pamela. But it appeared the kid's mother already suspected that he was coming to get her kids.
She sighed. This is going to be difficult to handle. She hoped the school wouldn't get implicated in this whole mess. The two parents don't seem to be in a good relationship with each other.
Pamela got her car keys and slid into her car. This is her fear. It was as if she's a fortune-teller to have been able to predict Louis' actions.
Just that morning, her daughter told her she had been seeing her daddy. And she decided to leave the City with the fear that he might come after them.
She's been through a lot because of the kids. She can't let him take them away from her so easily. She will fight until she doesn't have the strength to withstand him anymore.
She would fight and then lose rather than sitting back and not putting up any fight at all. She will try her best and she hopes she will win. Her kids will be her only supporters to win against Louis.
She drove rashly into the school premises and met the police about getting into their car. They paused when they saw how roughly she drove her car.
Pamela got out of her car and came straight to the police men. She saw the school administrator clasping her hands in apology.
"Louis Hayden was here, and he took my kids away and you couldn't do anything to stop him?" She bellowed.
"We couldn't stop him. We tried but he was more powerful. I had called the police immediately and they are going to find him and bring back your kids" school administrator Elena explained.
"Can't I entrust you with my kids?" Pamela queried. Her eyes had gone red and she was visibly shivering out of fury. She was trying hard to suppress her fury.
She stamped her feet on the floor and gnashed her teeth. She fisted her palm so hard that she didn't realise her nails had dug into her palm and she was bleeding.
"Hello Miss Johnson. We will help you in any way possible. But first, you need to answer a few of our questions. Would you come with us to the police station?" One of the officers requested.

"...you are saying now, that Mr Hayden is the father of your kids?" The police officer, interrogating Pamela asked.
She was seated opposite two officers and Ms. Elena, the school administrator was also with her. She had accompanied her to the police station to calm her troubled mind.
"Yes. Louis and I are the kids' parents" Pamela replied with a nod. She can't refute him that truth. But how can she explain that she was inseminated with Louis' semen and not the regular act of love making to conceive the babies?
The both officers glanced at each other and sighed. This is a struggle for custody of the kids. Such cases are common between divorced couples and parents who are simply each other's child's parent.
Now, Mr Hayden cannot be accused of abducting the kids, because they are his. He was not also armed in any way and didn't pose any violence or endanger any one's life when he came for the kids.
They needed to invite him over for a discussion. They had to find a way to talk them into a peaceful settlement. That's the only way to calm her distressed mind.
Pamela's lawyer also arrived and met them in the middle of the discussion. The officers declared that they were going to invite Mr Hayden immediately.
Louis Hayden had ordered his bodyguards to take the kids to his Mansion. He would return early to be with the kids for proper introduction.
He got to his office and sighed. Pamela left him no option than to adopt this method. He can't help it. He had tried to be lenient enough but she doesn't realise that there is a limit to every chance one is given.
She lost everything and now wants to take up a job in another country. If he sits still, she would leave Oak City with his kids and that would bring a long time separation between him and his kids.
He can't take it anymore. He had to adopt a brutal measure in taking his kids from her. And that's because, no matter how he tried to talk her into releasing them, she wouldn't.
He wanted to forget about the children, but he couldn't. They are his children as much as they are Pamela's. She loves them, no doubt. But he didn't love them less as well.
He has done this for himself and his parents. His mother to be more precise. She's been wanting to have them in the Hayden's family. She's so worried about having the family name on them.
He doesn't know when his parents would return from vacation, but this is the best present he would offer them when they arrive. It's not going to be easy, especially with Pamela. But he will contend and fight with her over their custody.
Any moment soon, he is expecting that she will storm into his office and yell at him. Or better still, get her lawyer to invite him to court. Whichever way, he was ready.
It wasn't quite one hour he was in his office when his phone chirped. He saw the caller ID and chuckled softly, Pamela has began her fight.
He answered the phone and soon, stood up and left his office. His chauffeur was ready to drive him to the police station.
