"I'm sorry darling. I can't just keep mute and let Pamela do whatever she likes, simply because she has become a princess overnight.
Before she became a princess, when she was the Foster daughter of the Grayson's family, we had known her and took her in.
I need to give her a piece of my mind. That's all I did and that's where I am coming from," Leah explained. She hugged Ellis and seemed to sigh softly, placing her head on his torso.
She's glad she has Ellis. He's her life and he's everything she ever desires. Until her seventh life, she would always choose Ellis as her husband and best friend.
"You need to take some time off this stress. I am taking you for a vacation. Don't ask me where but get prepared, the day after tomorrow, we will be away from Oak City for a while", Ellis declared, planting a featherlight kiss on her temple.
"What about our grandkids? We should get to meet them before leaving" Leah suggested. Those kids are more important to her than anything else in this life, besides Ellis.
"We would always get to meet them. If not now, we will in the future. No matter what happened, or what Pamela thinks, those kids will always be ours, they are also Hayden's" Ellis replied.
Leah raised her head to stare at him. Ellis was still that handsome dude she fell in love with. His words always have a way of soothing her grief and her bleeding heart.
She nodded. "I love you, Ellis," she professed. She will always love him till the end of time.
"I love you more," Ellis chimed. He smiled and Leah saw her son in him. So cute men she's got in her life.
Meanwhile, Lucas Wright recovered a little in the hospital. Once he's able to talk, he requests that he wants to see his lawyer.
Everyone was surprised. He probably wants to sue whoever had attacked him. But when his lawyer arrived, he requested him to withdraw the case he had against Emma.
He was ready to let it go. She could go with whatever she's gotten from him forcibly. He just wants to end the marriage with her immediately.
His lawyer tried persuading him to have a rethink. But Lucas insisted that he should just go ahead and do what he's asked him to do.
Since his job is to do what his client wants, Lucas Lawyer went ahead and prepared a divorce papers, based on mutual understanding.
When Emma received the divorce papers, she was dazed to find the condition for his divorce was not based on the ground of infidelity but on a mutual understanding.
He didn't mention anything about the properties anymore. She was excited and signed the papers. This is the end of her relationship with Lucas. Now she has all these assets to her name alone.
Out of excitement, she announced the twist of events to Rowland. The latter didn't show any sign of surprise or interest. Infact, he shrugged.
"You are not surprised? Did you already know he would back out of his initial claim?" Emma asked, probing Rowland.
"I am not surprised because I pulled some strings which made him succumb. So let's make a toast to your freedom" Rowland declared.
"Yeah, to our success" Emma chimed.
Freya stood by the sidelines and watched. Lucas has divorced Emma and this shameless gold digger is happy because he would be the one to remote her daughter's life and get everything away from her.
How she wished Lucas didn't give it up. Since when this rascal came into their lives, he has turned her daughter against her. Her husband had left the house, Lucas also was no longer with them.
She's now become a lone ranger and stays in solitude. The only person she's got to talk to is Albert. The little boy prefers her company rather than that of his parents.
This fellow who sprouted out from nowhere and Emma claimed he is the father of Albert is no good at all. He's such a mean person and doesn't deserve to be a father.
But what could he have done to make Lucas willingly sign the papers and send a copy to Emma? This bastard is capable of doing anything to get whatever he wants.
At noon, Louis Hayden was getting ready to keep a lunch date with Miranda Alvan. But his mother called him and informed him that Clarion Johnson wants to have lunch with them and requested that he should be present.
Bluntly, Louis declined. He told his mother he has a lunch date with someone else. A business partner at that and he couldn't stand her up to be with the Johnson's.
Louis stepped out of his office and went to get Miranda Alvan when his phone rang again. He glanced at it and saw his mum had called him back, but he refused.
He didn't wait for his mother to return that morning before leaving the Hayden's Mansion, but he knew she was likely to have gone to see the Royal couple and their grandparents.
As he drove to lovers resort his mind drifted back to Pamela. She's the mother of his kids, he wished he could be with her and the kids.
But after what she did to him, using Hayden's cooperation as her revenge weapon against him, he waved aside those thoughts of being with her again.
She could keep the kids until she gets fed up with owning them. One day, she would be compelled to introduce him to them as their father.
He looked forward to it. His parents look forward to it as well. He wants them to be happy and one of the things that would make them happy, especially his mother, was having those kids in her arms.
Since Louis Hayden wasn't answering his phone, Leah called Clarion and told her, Louis couldn't make it, he has a lunch date with a partner.
Clarion then requested that Leah find a convenient time that Louis can spare to be with them together. She look forward to having them all together again.
She then pleaded with Leah to be calm. She was going to address the issue with Pamela and Louis' past relationship.
Leah pouted her lips. She listened to all Clarion said and said alright before hanging up. She was going on vacation with Ellis and she wasn't ready to jeopardise the chance to be away from so much stress that had burdened her heart.
Pamela received a text from her grandma. Lunch had been suspended. She sighed softly. She doesn't want to meet Louis after all.
Just then, a nanny came to inform Mrs Clarion Johnson that Dora had fainted!
