Chapter 27: Chapter 27

There've been a tussle between the couple. Albert had been hospitalized for two days and Lucas didn't care about him at all.

Surprised at Lucas' non-chalant attitude towards his son's illness, Freya accused him for being irresponsible and unconcerned about his son's health condition.

Lucas, who had been trying his best to keep his dissatisfaction under check, could not take Freya's insult.

He retorted back by telling Freya to look at herself properly in the mirror before calling someone else irresponsible. If she had been a responsible mother how come she raised a pumpkin for a daughter?

Unable to take it, Freya said she would leave Lucas' house and the latter said he's been looking forward to hearing such good news.

And pleaded with Freya to take her daughter along with her. It would be great if she did that. He would help her with the money to take a taxi.

That was too much for Emma to gulp down. She called Lucas an ingrate. And then the exchange of words continued between the couple.

Lucas insisted that Emma's parents should leave while the latter raised an embargo by saying her parents would go nowhere.

"You'll have to leave, I can't tolerate your excesses anymore. Take your parents and your miserable son out of my life. I would have my lawyer deliver the divorce papers to you" Lucas seethed.

"That decision is too late Lucas. I have come to stay and nothing is moving me away from your life" Emma declared.

Freddie was unhappy. Why are these two unhappy in their marriage? Has karma already caught up with them? Isn't it too early for them to have so much hatred in their hearts for each other?

That night, Freddie intervened and said they don't have to quarrel with each other. He pleaded with Lucas to give them sometimes more, he was already planning on doing something.

That was how the quarrel subsided and Lucas got into his room. Freddie cautioned his wife not to interfere with Lucas and Emma's marriage next time.

But then Freya said she couldn't let her daughter be left alone with a sick child always without the father of the child showing any concerns.

"Is Emma complaining to you?" Freddie asked and Freya shrugged. Emma is an angel and doesn't want to bother anyone with her predicament.

That night, Emma pleaded with Lucas to make love to her. According to her, she's been horny for a while and he hadn't satisfied her sexual desires.

"Until you tell me the truth about Albert's paternity, nothing can be alright between us" Lucas replied, standing up from the bed and going over to sleep on the sofa.

"You are Albert's father. How many times am I going to say it for you to accept the fact?" Emma insisted.

"Fine, at this point. We will go for a DNA test tomorrow" Lucas suggested. This is Emma's Achilles heel. She has always been shying away from the subject of DNA.

Emma walked over and circled her hand around Lucas' waist. "I agree, let's have the test done tomorrow. If you will believe me after that"

Lucas squinted. Does she think he was stupid not to have gone for a DNA test before? He has his and Albert's DNA and they share no relationship whatsoever.

He tried to push Emma away from him but the latter had dug her hand into his pyjamas, caressing his body. She placed her head on his torso and her hand playing a romantic game with his body.

Lucas gave in and started kissing her furiously. That night they made love like never before. Lucas knew he shouldn't have allowed himself to be lured into it, but he lacked that firm resolution to say no.

Even as they took turn to fuck each other, he knew he would regret it. He knew it would lead him to a point he would not be able to flee from. But then, he made up his mind to enjoy every moment of that time.

It was late in the night that they both eventually got exhausted. They sprawled on the bed, and slept off tiredly.

When Lucas woke up the next morning, he didn't find Emma on the bed. It was unusual. Emma doesn't get out of bed before him after a night of love making.

He went to have a bath and got dressed. When he came downstairs, he met everyone having breakfast. He joined them saying good morning to all.

He was going to leave when Emma went after him. "Darling, please would you please sign this document for me? I'm thinking of taking a new job and I have to show that I am married.." Emma found a random reason to give.

Lucas' mood was not hostile but a little mild. Thanks to the love making of the previous night. Without thinking, he signed the papers and Emma kissed him.

"One more thing, go for contraceptives, I don't want us to have a baby now until when everything is in place" Lucas instructed.

Emma nodded. She kissed Lucas' chin and said goodbye to him. As soon as he walked out of the door, Emma's expression changed into a frosty stare.

How dare Lucas want to throw her and her son out of the house. He would never get that chance again. Now, everything he has has become hers.

She would be the one to decide the shot henceforth. If he cannot tolerate it, he could leave the house for all she cares.

For drilling her pussy all night, this is the reward for it. Now, he would even crawl to her begging for sex and he wouldn't get it anymore.

Albert's real dad would be her bed servant now. That's who she really loves and not him. He would come to the house and fuck her and Lucas wouldn't be able to do anything about it.

Freya walked over and saw the papers in her daughter's hand. She smiled. Their plans had been executed and the house had become theirs.

"Mission successful, mother" Emma announced and Freya smiled "Weldone. Now you are in charge" she announced.

The mother and daughter pair chuckled aloud and gave each other an elbow shake. Now, they have come to stay in that house forever.

That same morning, Louis Hayden instructed Romeo to arrange a meeting between himself and the CEO of P and D4 group.

Romeo immediately set out, he went to find the new CEOs assistance. He already heard the CEO is a woman. He wondered what kind of a woman she would be.

Louis Hayden hadn't yet replied to his mother to inform her if he would be able to attend the dinner with her at her friend's place or not.

Romeo's feedback will determine that. An hour later, Romeo informed him that he lobbied and eventually got lunch time the next day.

The CEO by the name Dr. Ms. Johnson. He didn't know what her first name was but hoped Louis would get those little details at their lunch the next day.

Only then did Louis sighed softly. His evening would be free and he replied to his mother that he would meet her at the time. She only needs to send the address.

Louis got home early and had a bath. He put on a blue designer shirt and brown pants. He tried to look casual as possible, but the aura emanating from him will always sell him off.

He applied his body spray and combed his hair and looked at himself in the mirror. He wanted to look simple but he seemed to look different but sophisticated.

This old friend of his mother, whom he hadn't met, would have a good impression on him on their first meeting. He soon got out and drove in his car.

When he arrived at the address, he saw his parents' car was ahead of his. He just drove after them into the vast compound.

Leah Hayden was lost. This place, if she remembers vividly, housed Grayson's home. She had no idea that those horrible people had sold their property.

There's no Pamela that they would auction out to gain so much money again. But the mansion erected amazes her. She knew Alice was a princess.

She heard later that she passed away and left a daughter behind. Well, that was then. She admired the building and felt impressed by its glamour.

It appeared like a palace. But she's yet to understand why the Royal family would move to Oak City, leaving the royal home in Middletown.

The couple set out, both dressed in blue. Leah wore a blue long dinner gown while Ellis was in a blue shirt over blue jeans.

When they sighted Louis stepping out of his car in a blue shirt, the parents smiled. What a coincidence. Louis Hayden looked reluctant.

It's obvious he was doing it to please his parents, his mom to be precise. Anything she wants him to do, provided it doesn't contradict his principle and work, he would do just that to make her happy.

"You look good Louis" Leah complimented, looking at him from his head down to his feet.

He reminded her of Ellis when they were dating. He took after his father so much and that she kept seeing a younger Ellis in her son.

"Thank you mum" Louis replied, walking over and standing next to his mom. He crossed his arms around her shoulders and Leah smiled.

He also glanced at the mansion and was impressed. This is a big house adorned with everything and anything money can offer.

"This used to be Pamela Grayson's house, where she lived with her foster family," Leah explained.

Louis Hayden became more interested. He looked around and saw how great the structure was. The architectural design was a modern and rare type.

"They sold the house?" Louis asked and Leah replied "Anything is possible with such peasant people. The only good person in that family was Pamela" Leah sneered.

Louis felt awkward again. Any time Pamela's name is called, he becomes uneasy. It is as if his healing wound had been poked with a needle.

As they approached the door, on its accord, the door opened and they saw a Steward dressed in his uniform was at the door. He bowed slightly as they walked in.

A servant walked over to them and welcomed them. She said ma'am would join them shortly. She got them three glasses and poured juice out for them.

She said they could sit comfortably and relaxed. The Hayden's nodded and thanked her. Louis was engrossed in his thoughts.

Such a wealthy family friend his mother had got. Had they just gotten to Oak City that he never met them before?

He had always thought his Villa was a grand one. But from what he was seeing of this sitting room, he knew his house and its decor was way inferior to the one he was seated in.

It wasn't long, Clarion descended the stairs dressed in a queenly gown down to her feet. She wore a little golden crown on her head and her jewelries were made from the purest diamonds.

"Good to see you again, Leah" Clarion stated, standing on the penultimate stair. She beamed with a smile and behind her was Tarvan Johnson, her husband.

Leah Hayden glanced back at the direction where the voice came from. As she turned, she saw the elegant looking woman smiling broadly at her.
