Alyana sniffled. She looked away still, now sobbing quietly. Such a sweet woman, princess Pamela. She is loved by many and she's a lovely woman to be with.
Clarion's smile disappeared. She brought Pamela to sit down. Her present condition doesn't allow her to stand too long.
Pamela sensed that something wasn't right. She glanced at her Grandma and saw her look away too. She glanced back at Alyana and the latter cleaned her tears.
Has anything happened to grand nanny? Is she dead? She can't possibly have left her without saying goodbye like her great grandfather Jimmy Johnson did.
But seeing Alyana with her grandma, something really had happened. Grand nanny is no more, she guesses.
"Is grand nanny dea..d? Or why are you here rather than being with her?" Pamela asked, glaring at Alyana.
Alyana hadn't said anything when Pamela ordered "Speak to me, Alyana!" She thundered. She felt her baby kick uncomfortably as she screamed.
"Please, Pamela, the baby doesn't need this" Clarion cautioned. She won't take it lightly with her if she does anything to hurt the baby.
"Yes, my lady. The royal grand nanny is no more" Alyana replied. There was a long quietness that followed.
Pamela glared at Alyana and then carefully turned to face her grandma. The latter also nodded in a way that shows she was unhappy about it.
"How can grand nanny also leave me? First it was my father and then my mom. Great grandfather and now grand nanny. Everyone who loves me kept leaving me.
She told me she would wait for me. She also left without saying goodbye. Why would she leave me just like that?" Pamela complained and started sobbing.
"She tried to wait for you, my princess. She tried and waited for your return until the last minute when her time elapsed" Alyana explained.
Pamela sobbed the more. Clarion tried to pacify her but Pamela broke down in tears. "Grandma, those that love me kept leaving me, why?" She asked amidst sobs.
"Not all. I am still here for you, Pamela. Louis Hayden might have left, but I'm here and I've come to stay" Clarion declared.
Pamela suddenly stopped sobbing. She glance at her Grandma and she nodded, "yes, I am here now,"
Pamela cleaned her tears and knew at that moment that her grandma knows a little about Louis and her, about their sour relationship.
It's been months since Ellis Hayden visited his kids and Celina Delmark, his mistress. Maxwell had graduated from the University but his father didn't come nor congratulated him.
Arabella would be graduating from college as well. They seemed abandoned. Their father doesn't even care a bit about them. He is only concerned about his wife and son.
"I can't keep living like this, Mom. Dad wouldn't give us his last ame and he wouldn't even share in our successes. He only cares about his family"Maxwell complained.
"What do you mean he cared about his family, aren't we his family as well? He might not be married to our mum but he fathered us and we want to experience the love of a father" Arabella snapped at her brother.
"Is Louis Hayden the only child he's got? Aren't we his flesh and blood as well? Mom, it's up to you to rise from solitary and take us to him in Oak City.
I don't want to live in X-City anymore. Take us to him. You may not have a right over him because you are not his wife,but we do. We have the same right like his eldest son Louis Hayden" Maxwell declared.
"Enough children. Don't talk about your father that way. You are illegitimate children, you can only solicit to be inaugurated into the family as his children.
If he accepts, that means you are lucky. But if he doesn't, it only means that there is nothing you can do. He's taking care of you both a lot.
Be grateful and accept your fate. Don't make the mistake of comparing yourself with your elder brother. He is legitimate and he only has the right to ownership over your father. Don't make that mistake" Celina Delmark cautioned her kids.
"If he really loves his wife and son, Why did he agree to have babies with you? Why didn't he just remain with his lovely wife and son then?" Arabella snapped.
