Chapter 67: Chapter 67
Clarion just stared at him and said nothing. She was contemplating the meaning of Tarvan's words. Pamela and Louis are in love and she believed her daughter when she said they were going to be married soon.
Tarvan dropped her phone on the bed and walked out, shutting the door behind him.
Clarion picked up her phone. It's been a long time. Tarvan shut her away from the outside World. She turned the phone on, and quickly browsed the news in Oak City.
True to Tarvan's words, Louis Hayden was married to a woman by the name Miranda Alvan. They got married in Turkey and they are expecting their first baby.
Clarion read the news over and over and didn't still believe what she read. Louis Hayden and Miranda Alvan had been lovers from childhood?
Clarion just stared at the phone and sniffled. She saw the happy excited face of Louis in the picture and the gorgeous woman whose baby bump was protruding and threw the phone aside.
Louis left Pamela, he really did. He failed her and left her with empty and fake promises. He was in love with someone else and yet, gave her an engagement ring?
She sat on the edge of the bed. She supported her jaws with both of her hands. She started sobbing. She couldn't help it but sobbed to relieve herself.
"Oh poor Pamela, oh my poor daughter" Clarion sobbed. This is too much for this girl, this is too much for her to bear. What has she done in her past life that she kept experiencing this fate in this life?
The kids, how does she cope with them? Did Louis take the kids away from her when he went ahead to be married to someone else or did she have them and learn to raise them all by herself?
She is alone, she has no one by her side. All alone by herself. She possibly didn't call her or she probably might have called and her contact never went through.
She has failed. She is not to be called a mother. Her daughter, the only one to prove that she's not a barren woman as everyone else thought of her, was in great distress and she couldn't be there for her.
Tarvan was locked up in his study. He felt sorry for Pamela. He didn't expect that things would go sour for her. Louis, jilted her and is married to someone else.
Does it mean he also took the kids away from her? Is she with the kids? How is she coping? He took the business away from her, froze all her finances and sent her away from the royal family.
What would she think of him now, that he hates her? Did she think he abandoned her and was deliberate when he stripped her of her title?
He only wants her to become a woman worthy to be emulated. He wants her to be a role model to other young women in his kingdom. He doesn't hate her, he cannot hate his own granddaughter.
She might indeed not be the heir apparent to the throne, but he didn't hate her at all. He loves her and at this moment, he wished to see her and let her know that he meant her no ill.
Clarion doesn't even believe him as well. How can he explain to Clarion that despite everything, he still loves Pamela very much.
Will she believe him if he says so? She won't, she already assumed in her heart that he doesn't love their granddaughter.
He would go and find her and bring her back to the palace. That will make Clarion pacified. He needs to make it up to her and apologise to her.
He had the royal guard to the queen chambers called. When he came, "Unlock the door and let the queen have her freedom again" Tarvan instructed.
Clarion personal maid came and bowed before her majesty "The King Tarvan Johnson has ordered that the royal mother is free from her confinement"
Clarion was dazed. She glared at the maid speechless. She's free from her confinement and he didn't come to fetch her himself but sent a maid to break the news to her?
After three months, she would step her feet outside her chambers? But where will she go ? She longed to see grand nanny but she couldn't, because the news of her death still shook her.
Nothing is interesting to her anymore. She'd long divorced Tarvan in her heart. She's just waiting for when she would find an opportunity and leave.
She wanted to tell the maid to call the king and tell him she requested him to come and fetch her out, but quickly changed her mind when an idea came to her mind.
In the quiet night, in the dwelling place of the Monastery located in the deep mountains of the Oak city, a Nun sat making prayers.
She clasped her hands together and prayed for those she loved. The dead and the living. She had spent more than half of her life in the convent and she'd become a senior and an Abbess within her monastery.
Her iconic long red tunic and a belt portrayed her divinity. After her midnight prayers she called one of her juniors and said "I will want you to investigate a child that was born 28 years ago…" she instructed.
