Miranda snorted and hissed between gritted teeth. What nonsense is this woman saying? How dare she ask her such a question?

What does she take her for, a fool? How can she stay by the side of such a cute handsome dude and not get horny to have sex with him?

After all, she was the one who told her to make him believe they've been together for a while and she's his fiancée. How can she not sleep with her fiancé?

She's human after all and she has blood in her veins. If she's acting as Louis' fiancée, she could as well act it out to perfection by keeping her body warm with Louis' help.

What had she done wrong then, or in what way did she exploit her own fiancé?

But she understood what was happening. This is Romeo's signature. She can recognise it from Leah's words.

Romeo dares to contradict her and goes to Leah to make reports. She would ensure she sees that Romeo is gone far away from them.

She won't give him a chance to be by Louis' side at all. She would ruin him and dent his so called self esteem and personality.

"Why did you suddenly go silent, Miranda Alvan? Does it mean what I heard is true?" Leah demanded, her tone harsh and furious.

"No, how will I do that to my own friend? Louis is my friend and I have great respect for him. Why would I do that to him, to take advantage of his present health condition?" Miranda rebuffed.

"What about Pamela's encounter with him and you, didn't she claim Louis cheated on her with you?" Leah Hayden demanded.

"Pamela Grayson is a wounded woman. She's bleeding in heart because Louis can not remember his past with her. She accused Louis wrongly and took out her frustration on us.." Miranda lied.

After listening to Miranda, Leah Hayden was convinced. Pamela was acting based on her imagination. But didn't Ellis affirm it when Louis agreed with the accusation?

"But Louis told his father that he had sex with you. Is he also taking his desperation out on you?" Leah Hayden asked.

"Mrs Hayden, you should believe in me. I have to tell Louis to say that if his father asked him, in order to get rid of the crazy woman like he used to call Pamela.

Relax, you have a deal with someone that can act it well. You want to get rid of Pamela from Louis' side, that's exactly what I am trying to do. You should only believe me and none else, " Miranda snorted.

Pamela sat in the large sitting room of Lucas' new home. He stood by the sidelines and stared at her. He felt pity for her.

Alice couldn't say anything for a while. She would sniffle and wipe the tears off her face before it ever gets a chance of running down her cheeks.

"I am going to have an abortion " Pamela declared. That is not negotiable. That's the only way out at this time.

Lucas took a deep breath. No, Abortion shouldn't be a part of Pamela's thought. He cannot imagine that what he would never be able to get is what she intends to flush away.

"You'll do what?" Alice asked in amazement. How can a woman think of killing her own child simply because the child's father cannot be with her for now?

"You heard me right, I am booking for an abortion first thing tomorrow morning" Pamela declared and stood up to go.

"Pamela please," Lucas pleaded, coming over to stand on her path. He glared at her face, for some seconds, they both stared at each other.

Alice saw them and swallowed hard. If Lucas hadn't told her that he had a past with Pamela, she would readily have known this instant. His eyes were filled with so much emotion and love towards Pamela.

He can't possibly still be in love with Pamela, right? No, he can't. Not after being married to her sister.

"Please give this baby a chance to live. Everyone has got a chance, right. The baby deserves it. Please Pamela, don't terminate the life of this child long before it sees the light of this life.

I know this time is hard for you. I also know that Louis is not here to support you on the journey of this pregnancy. But don't hurt your own child. Please Pamela, do this for me" Lucas pleaded, clasping his hands.

"You don't understand why I made abortion the only option right?" Pamela asked, glancing at Lucas and then Alice before continuing.

"When I was pregnant with the Quadruplets, I was alone and I would have tasted hell until my maternal grandparents found me. They stood by me to the end.

They were the reason why I didn't feel despondent, broken and hopeless in raising the kids. But now, I cannot return to the royal family because of Louis.

Until I get married and bring Louis, the father of my kids to the royal family, I can no longer be a part of that family anymore.

And the man for whom I got this punishment, is leisurely enjoying himself on the thighs of another woman and I will still be stupid to carry his baby in my womb and give birth to him?

It doesn't make any sense at all. I'd rather take care of the Quadruplets and live my life in peace hoping that one day, he would wake up from this life of slumbering he is living in.

How do I cope now, who are my family, who will be by my side at this difficult time? Tell me who?" Pamela asked in agitation.

”I will be your sister, even if I am the only family left for you, I will fulfil the duty of a filial sister" Alice announced, placing her right hand on her chest in allegiance.

"And I will be here for you as your best friend. I will be at your call and beckon until this child is born, until his dad returns and takes up his responsibility as a father" Lucas declared.

"Give us this chance to be a part of the baby's life long before he's been born. Please let us be your only family, Pamela" Alice pleaded.

"Give me this chance to know what it's like to be a father. I might never be getting the chance again" Lucas pleaded, his eyes welled up with tears.
