Lucas burst into laughter and Pamela laughed too. Alice is playful. This is just the kind of person she wants around her at the moment.

"I'm older than you Alice. So you should call me big sis instead" Pamela said, pulling her chin.

Louis was unable to concentrate on anything. He sat down before Romeo and Miranda were by his side.

"President Hayden, you approved this contract three months ago. So I don't know, can we invite them over for a deliberation and a way forward in executing the project?" Romeo asked.

He raised his head and glanced at Louis. The latter was staring at the door. His face was cold and expressionless.

He had been so after Pamela left. He had complained about his head pain and Romeo had thought he would remember who he used to be.

They called for his doctor and he came over quickly. After attending to him, the pain seemed to relieve him and he became calm again.

Romeo waited for him to say something that might indicate that he was alright. But alas what he said was asking him if that woman was crazy to keep embarrassing him.

Romeo sighed softly and said he shouldn't talk about the past. He was sure the woman wouldn't come back to him again. She's learnt her lesson.

But he couldn't think straight from that moment. He seemed to be lost in thought. And as Romeo stared at him at that moment, he knew he probably didn't hear him ask him a question.

"Did I share a relationship with that woman? Am I in any form of commitment to her? Is she a part of the past that I haven't recalled?" Louis asked, glaring at Romeo.

Still on the matter with Pamela? Miranda Alvan thought. A trace of fury passed through her face at Louis' question but quickly covered it up with a smile.

Before Romeo could answer, she did. "No my love. I am the only woman you love and are committed to. But I will also tell you the truth that many women have a crush on you.

This woman might probably be one of such. I wouldn't know if she's taken a selfie, an autograph or whatever with you. But she looked like someone desperate for love.

That's why I stayed close to you all these years. I feel scared that one of these ill-groomed, flirty women would seduce you into doing what you shouldn't have…" Miranda was saying when Louis interrupted her.

"I can't find the answer to my question from all the nonsense you're talking about. Did I have anything to do with that woman?" He repeated.

Miranda's temple twitched. She swallowed hard and held Louis' biceps "No. You have nothing to do with her" she replied.

She glared at Romeo from under her brow, giving him a deadly stare of 'you dare not say otherwise'

"Are you sure of what you said Miranda Alvan?"Romeo snapped at her. He's not afraid of Miranda Alvan. He's only cautious of Leah Hayden.

He doesn't want her to send him away. He cannot say what might happen to Louis or some aspect of the Hayden's cooperation if everything is left to Miranda Alvan to guide Louis concerning the past, he couldn't recall.

Miranda's complexion was ashened. Romeo was going to ruin the whole thing. Was he really going to say anything to Louis? What on earth is wrong with this scoundrel?

"What do you mean, Romeo?" Louis asked. He glared at him intently. Was there more meaning to the question he asked his fiance?

"Do you want me to call Mrs Leah Hayden to tell her that you are very helpful towards helping her achieve her dream of seeing Louis become alright?" Miranda Alvan threatened.

Miranda's eyes were shooting daggers at Romeo. She just threatened him to tell Mrs Leah Hayden what he's doing? He knew best what awaits him if Leah hears a word of his backstabbing.

Louis glared at Romeo with calmness. What has his mom got to do with what is on the ground?

"I wouldn't mind, Miranda Alvan. But I meant Miranda Alvan has never been this close in the past. It's because of your amnesia that she became so close.

That means, she really cannot rule the possibility out. She has an amateur knowledge of how you run your activities and who you are with most often" Romeo declared.

"Oh! But you know I am not that flirty type. Miranda trust me that's why she wasn't that close. Since I am with Miranda, I can boastly say I am not with anyone else" Louis declared with a shrug.

A grin appeared on Miranda's lips. Things are falling into place for her. Even Louis is standing in her support. Shame on Romeo.

"Hmmm" Romeo grunted. Things aren't going to be as easy as he thought.

An hour later, Louis declared that he needed to return to the Mansion. He needs to rest as much as he can. The doctor recommended it alongside his medication for a quick recovery.

Miranda said she would follow behind with her car. Louis could leave first. The latter said okay and left. As soon as Louis left, Miranda stood up and went closer to Romeo.

"Name your price. Tell me what you want to make you shut your mouth before Louis?" She asked, not with hostility but with seduction.

Romeo glared at her. She is ready to pay him to be quiet. And play along with her. So they would become three of them ganging up against Pamela?

"I don't understand," Romeo asked, playing ignorant.

"Fine. I'll say it this way. I am willing to give you a large amount to be quiet" Miranda blurted.

Romeo chuckled. She wants to bribe him "No amount of money can make me do what you want" he snapped at her.

Miranda smiled. She knows this kind of men. They might not want money but they cannot resist the apple between a woman's thighs. 70% of men can't resist such a beautiful offer on a platter of gold.

"What about I offer you my body?" Miranda optioned.
