Chapter 136: Chapter 136

Louis went a step further and hugged her. Pamela didn't resist him. She only stiffened a bit but quickly composed herself and hugged him back.

"How are you doing Louis?" Pamela asked, glaring at him with concern. He is still the cute and arrogant Louis Hayden she used to know. But this time, he appeared like an unhappy man.

"I'm trying hard to be alright," he responded. He can't say he is fine. How can he be, after waking up one day and realising he made a mess of himself with his unguarded relationship with Miranda Alvan.

Especially towards Pamela. Everything he did was against Pamela. His intimacy with Miranda Alvan, his marriage to her and his negligence towards his kids, especially Ethan, the baby.

"You'll be fine, Louis. It's a matter of time" Pamela assured. Louis nodded and pulled out a seat for her to sit before taking his place opposite her.

"I missed you very much, Pamela. How are the kids?" Louis asked. He wished they were all together. Him, Pamela and their five kids. Living a happy forever life.

"They are doing great. They've learned to live without you" Pamela answered, looking away. She knew the second part of her sentence would make him feel bad.

But she doesn't give a damn. It is either he was not there when the Quadruplets were born and grew or he would eloped to another country and be married to a private prostitute surnamed Alvan.

His son Ethan was also born without feeling the warmth of a father. Just what kind of destiny does he have? Or maybe it's her destiny to have kids as a single mother and the father appears later to embrace the baby.

"I'm sorry. I wish it didn't have to be like this. How is Ethan, is he learning to crawl now?" Louis asked, his gaze on her face.

"He blabs a lot and sucks all night but he hasn't learned to crawl yet. Others crawl at six months, hopefully he will start when he is six months old" Pamela informed in an excited manner.

Louis smiled but it wasn't a sincere one. He only smiled to keep her in her excited state. A failure like him, he never had a story to tell of his kids growing up.

What kind of a father is he? When the Quadruplets were born, he wasn't there. Now the single baby came, he wasn't there. He has no experience, no story, nothing to say about their toddler's stage.

Pamela saw traces of sadness on his face and she stopped. Did she say something he doesn't like?

"Mom also said I started crawling when I was six months old. Perhaps it runs in Hayden's blood" Louis commented.

Soon, they began having their dinner. While they were there, a certain person was watching from the sideline. He would ensure that he ruined their dinner.

If he doesn't have Pamela, then Louis Hayden cannot have her. They can remain each other's child's parents. That's the closest relationship and link they will have with each other.

Midway through the meal, Fred Meyer walked over and smiled. He wore a broad smile, appearing as a friend but he had come to ruin their date.

Louis Hayden's eyes went dark and he glared at him in hostility. What does this fellow want? He turned and glanced at Pamela, "did you invite him?"

Pamela also was shocked. She wasn't expecting him to show his face there. What the hell does he want and how did he find out where they are?

"Not at all," Pamela replied. She's as irritated as he is. Why is Fred Meyer making himself an intruder? She already told him not to expect anything from her, why is it so hard for him to understand that?

"I don't need to be invited to wherever I smell Pamela. I'm here, so let's have the dinner together" Fred announced and pulled a seat over and wanted to sit when Louis declared "don't dare"

"Fred Meyer, you should respect yourself and leave," Pamela suggested. How can this dude be so annoying?

"Common Pamela, you should rather thank me for watching your back. I love protecting you even if it's from a distance because I love you" Fred Meyer stuttered.

"You leave now or I have the securities to throw you out" Louis declared. What insolence. What the heck? Does he want to ruin their time out together?

"You should go ahead and call whoever you want to. I want you to know that Pamela is mine. I won't let an opportunist like you take advantage of her anymore.

You can't just take advantage of her, use her, make her an object of sexual gratification, get her pregnant and then get entangled with another woman. I won't let you do that to her anymore.." Fred bellowed.

"You should watch your words when you are talking to the father of my kids, Fred Meyer. I share no.." Pamela was saying when Louis demanded "securities"

"You have deceived her, kicked your seed into her and trailed off to be involved with another woman. You have returned now to fuck her and get her pregnant again and then eloped with another woman again…" Fred Meyer was blabbing when the securities walked over.

"Take him away and ensure he never steps his feet into this premises ever again" Louis ordered.

"I won't let you have Pamela. She's my woman now. She told you that we've had sex and I know I'm better and more active than you are. She applauded me and…"Fred was spewing nonsense when he was dragged away.

Louis' countenance went sullen. He watched until Fred Meyer was out of sight. Then gently he turned to glance at Pamela. For a while he just stared at her, not saying anything.

Pamela's cheeks flushed with redness. Her throat became dry. What is Louis thinking about her? This arrogant dude has met someone who made him madly jealous.

"Were you trying to take revenge on me or you are in love with him?" Louis asked, his gaze on Pamela void of emotions.

Pamela snapped her head up in surprise. She glared at Louis. She's not sure she heard what he said. She'd been absent minded.

"What?" She asked. What is he saying?

"I know I did the unexpected. But did you go into sexual intimacy with Fred to get back at me or do you have feelings for him?" Louis paraphrased his last statement.

The audacity of that bastard to utter such words before him. He knew there might have been some chemistry between them.

But didn't expect that he could become so bold and confident in it. If she makes love to him because she has feelings for him, fine. He might have to step aside and not try to pursue her again.

"Let's talk about something else," Pamela declared. She owes him no explanation. After all he also was frolicking with Miranda Alvan back then.

Besides, she already told him some time ago that she's involved with Fred Meyer. That's what gave Fred the temerity to say such vulgar words to him.

"I don't want to talk about anything else Pamela. I thought I could talk to you alone tonight. I was hoping that I will explain things to you and see if you can forgive me and we'll begin again.

I want us to be together again, with our five kids. But I won't be able to say them again because of what Fred said.

You think because of the intimacy between Miranda Alvan and I, you also decided to be with someone else. I can't imagine that you can do it Pamela.

You used to be decent. I slept with Miranda Alvan, yes. I married her, that's also true. But I didn't remember anything else at the moment.

But I do now. Our happy moments together. We can go back to the way we were in the past. You, our kids and I. What are you saying, Pamela?" Louis demanded.
