Chapter 134: Chapter 134

Leah was shocked.

Miranda Alvan is such an evil woman? She threatened her to keep her mouth mute and yet was feeding her son with poison. What if she had succeeded?

And to know that despite being married, she was still spreading her legs open for other men. Even Romeo, her husband's assistant, was also given a free offer.

What if Romeo wasn't a decent guy? What if he accepted her shameless offer, she would have been fucked by her husband and his employees and yet, come forward to appear saintly.

She raised her head and glanced at her son but quickly took away her eyes. Louis' eyes were red. He was furious, the thought of what she did was still fresh in his heart.

"Louis. I'm glad you divorced that woman. She is a bitch. Actually, your mother didn't mean to get her married to you. In Fact, having sex was completely out of her intention…"

Elli went on and told Louis everything. Having affairs with him, getting married and all of that, happened because Miranda Alvan took advantage of his amnesia and went overboard.

When his father finished explaining, Louis said "Until I get Pamela back, I will never see you through the eyes of a mother"

In Pamela's Mansion, Susana was pleading with her Mom. A lot has happened after her supposed death. She wept and asked that her mother forgive and take her back.

"What if I had died from the pain of losing you. You were my only child and the one everyone looked up to as the future heiress to the throne.

Tarvan could have other children, what about me? You left and didn't look back. What about your baby? What if something happened to her?

Do you know what it's like to grow up without parents? That girl went through a lot of unpleasant experiences before she became the woman that she is today.

You do not care about your mother and your daughter. Your poor mother cries daily, taking solace in her tears and your daughter, wailed and cried out for the love of her mother.

We needed you in our lives. But you left. You weren't thinking about us. We love you. Why did you take this path, Alice, Why?" Clarion demanded.

"I'm sorry mother. It wasn't intentional. I thought it's better to lay low and let everyone go about the news of my death. I didn't want it to be so, but that's the only way I can be spared.

After my husband's death, I couldn't bear it. I was heavy with child. I went into a preterm labour and I was delivered of a baby.

But I died, mother. I went into a deep coma and I was pronounced dead. No one knew my identity or where I came from. The government of the city decided to bury me.

I was being taken to be buried when the man assigned to do the job realised that my little finger trembled. He guessed that I was having a little life in me, hence he took me far away.

I undergo a series of therapy and treatment in utmost secrecy. It took a few months before I became alright. I was made to swear to have nothing to do with my previous life.

If I refuse to swear, I might as well lose my life for real and no one would be implicated. The hospital and the team of medical professionals would not be at risk.

The man who saved my life and the hospital that secretly accepted me, every one of them would be safe. Rather than letting me go and implicating these people, they would inject me to my death.

I agreed and took the name Susana. I asked about my daughter and I was told she had been adopted by a family that has no baby.

Then I was at peace. Such a family would love her as their own. Then I went to become a Nun. I have remained there for many years.

I spent my whole life interceding for you, Mom. For my father and for my daughter. It has continued so until a few months ago that I started seeing Linus, asking me about his daughter…" Susana explained.

She sobbed. Clarion started sobbing. She would have disguised herself and returned to Middletown City, she should have reached out to her.

Tarvan would have protected her. They wouldn't let anything happen to her. Even if she decides to change her first name, it wouldn't have mattered to them as much as living with the fake news of her death.

Then Pamela walked in. Fred Meyer dropped her off and drove off. She walked in with graceful steps and saw two generations of her mothers, both sobbing.

"Are these tears of reunion?" Pamela asked, sinking into the sofa. Susana or Alice, whichever one she chooses to call her name, doesn't look like her mother.

She could have passed for an elder sister to her. She cannot find the connection, the ties between her mother and herself. Except that she's the spitting image of her.

"How do I address you, Mrs Freeman, Alice or Susana?" Pamela asked, fixing her gaze on her mother. She's glad that her mother is still alive though.

"Call me Sister Susana," She responded. She still has to hide her identity for now. She doesn't want her to call her 'mother' nor by her first name Alice.

"I've missed calling you mother all my life. Now that you are back, I still shouldn't call you my mother? Don't you love me? Do you hate my father, do you regret having me with him?" Pamela demanded.

"Don't say that Pamela. Linus Freeman was the most important thing I have owned and possessed in my life. And the best decision I've ever made in my life was marrying your father and having a beautiful daughter with him" Susana responded.

"Then accept to be addressed as Alice Freeman then. If you don't accept to be addressed by my late father's last name, then you are not welcome here and I won't acknowledge you as my mother" Pamela threatened.

Susana was speechless. She opened her mouth, but no words came out. She sighed softly and glanced at her mother. Clarion's eyes welled up with tears.

"Mother, please step in and explain things to her. The last thing I want in my life right now, is to get rejected by my family and daughter. Please talk to her" Susana pleaded.

Just then, the kids arrived with their nannies. They cheered loudly, throwing themselves on their great grandma. They kissed her chin and turned to glare at the woman sitting next to her.

Suddenly, they all became quiet. They glared at the woman. She looked like their Mommy. But who is she?

"Are you my mummy's sister?" Dora asked, glaring at her and passing a quick glance at her mother. Why is she like her momma?

"Tell them who you are to me, Sister Susana" Pamela declared, wearing a grin.
