Chapter 133: Chapter 133

Pamela froze at the sight of Louis, but quickly, she composed herself again. She gently pulled her hand off Fred and swallowed hard.

Louis' countenance appeared a little softened. Romeo stood right behind his boss like a bodyguard. He was staring at Pamela calmly.

Everything is tangled up. When Louis was against her, she was eager to get things straight and in order.

And now that he's fine, ready to straighten things between them, the table turned around. He just doesn't know how human nature keeps working in dynamics.

"Hi" Pamela waved at Louis flippantly and wanted to walk past him when the latter said "How're you doing my love?"

Pamela paused, she wanted to snap at him, to tell him that he shouldn't address her by those words, but couldn't. A part of her was glad that he still addresses her and another part of her frowned.

"Pamela" Louis called, ignoring Fred Meyer who glared at him with a frosty stare "Can we have dinner together?" He asked and before Pamela could answer, he added "tonight"

They needed to have time alone by themselves. He hopes she will understand him and accept to be with him.

"I'm busy Louis," Pamela declared. She still loves him. Having dinner with him will make her obsessed more about him. She will dodge it.

"Please, don't say no. Let's meet later tonight 7pm, please" Louis pleaded, clasping his hands together.

Pamela was speechless. Louis pleading with her to have dinner with him? That's amazing, he really can be so calm?

"Send me the address" Pamela declared and walked away. She was heading towards her car, walking briskly with Fred Meyer behind her.

"Are you really going to keep an appointment with that cheating bastard?" Fred Meyer blurted. She's making him look unimportant. He is jealous and can't help it.

She already told him they are dating. He had been salivating after then, hoping that one day it would become real.

How can she agree to meet with that spoiled rich brat who cheated on her and her kids, the guy who kicked a baby into her and never took up his responsibility?

She needs to define their relationship. He can't just be following her around like a watchdog. He needs to know where he stands, in her heart.

"Yes, I will be seeing Louis. Besides, I don't appreciate it if you call him unpleasant names. Don't do it again" Pamela warned in a calm but stern tone.

He has no right to describe her man that way. He is the father of her five kids, and the only man she'd ever loved.

Besides her, no one was allowed to call him unpleasant names. She would contend with whoever tries that even if that person is Alice Johnson, her lost but found mother.

Fred Meyer looked embarrassed. He looked away. Pamela eyed him and wanted to get into the car when Fred asked "Who am I to you, Pamela.

Don't I have a place in your heart? Don't I mean anything to you? Have you no feelings for me? Have you thought and imagined how beautiful our lives will be if we become a couple?" Fred demanded.

Pamela paused and chuckled softly. That's it. He thinks himself to be something when he is nothing to her. She can't even address him as a friend.

Lucas and Alice are her true friends. Where on earth will she place him?

"I don't know. You and I are not lovers, we are definitely not friends. We hang out together but that doesn't have any string attached to it.

I don't have anything for you. I have no feelings for you. I can't fall in love with you or any man because I'm still in love with Louis. I think we should stop seeing each other" Pamela declared.

This guy doesn't capture her heart at all. There's nothing about him that attracts her. And to sum it up, what he said about Louis makes him stink before her.

"I've been by your side for a while now, Pamela. You told Louis that we are dating. It was as if you spoke my mind that day. I made up my mind that you and I are destined to be together.

I think I'm in love with you. Forget about Louis Hayden and let's be lovers. You can't possibly be turning me down for a man who once cheated on you, broke your heart into shreds and married another woman.

What do you want in a man that you do not see in me? You aren't supposed to agree to have dinner with him.." Fred was insinuating when Pamela cut him off.

I'm sorry that you felt that way. I was wrong to have used you as a shield to get away from Louis back then. But no matter what happened, I cannot compare him with any other man" Pamela explained with a shrug.

"I don't want you to be with him. Stay off limits with him. Don't give him another chance to hurt you. Don't go" Fred protested vehemently.

Pamela's gaze was on him. What the heck! Is he being jealous and thereby acting in such a way as if he's being possessive of her. What's the meaning of that?

"What I do or don't do has nothing to do with you. Who I decided to meet with or go on a date with, has got nothing to do with you as well. Stay away and don't cross your boundaries" Pamela snapped at him.

When Louis got into the hospital ward, he saw his Mom. Two servants were attending to her and his dad was by the window, talking to someone on the phone.

"I heard you fainted, Mrs Hayden. You should have known that all your evil will be recounted on the day of reckoning. She's your friend's daughter, right?" Louis blurted.

Leah Hayden looked away. Her son now makes fun of her. He should have been worried about her,but now he came to ridicule her further.

While Leah was still ruminating on the attitude of this son of hers, the one she was ready to give her life in exchange for, Louis continued taunting her.

"You knew she was your friend's daughter yet, you ruined her relationship with the man she loves simply because you have a grudge in your heart against her.

See what you've done to my love life. You make me see the woman that I love and yet cannot call her mine. My kids, I have five kids with Pamela, and yet I can only watch them from a distance. All because of your evilness"

"Louis, stop taunting your mom at every slight opportunity. She's not feeling well. Can't you take pity on her and not add more pain to her aching heart?" Ellis reprimanded his son.

"Why should I take pity on her aching heart? My heart has been bleeding for a long time now. If her heart is only aching, then it's way better than what I am feeling right now" Louis bellowed.

"We all know your mother did wrong to you and Pamela in the past. She wants to make it good, that's the reason she went to find Pamela. How was she supposed to know she would wake up in the hospital?" Ellis explained.

"I really don't care where she wakes up. All I want is to get back with my woman. And for your information, the woman you married off to your amnesia Louis has been divorced and her daughter is not mine.

Shame on you Mom. Of all the virtuous women in Oak City, you couldn't get me a good woman to take Pamela's place. The one you gave me was a whore.

The one that slept around with men and even seduced Romeo to have affairs with her. That is the kind of woman you married to your son.

She's also in jail for poisoning my system. I almost had permanent brain damage because of the medication she was giving me.

She connived with the doctor, sleeping with him so as to help her keep me in perpetual forgetfulness. I wouldn't be able to remember a thing and finally lost my memory forever.

Tell me, which mother ever does that to her son, her only child for that matter?" Louis demanded.
