Chapter 132: Chapter 132
Clarion was speechless. She doesn't know what to say to retort back at her husband. She accused him yes, but it's all after he married those girls that are Pamela's age mates.
Those concubines he shared his body with wouldn't even stand anywhere near Alice. And majorly because he refused to acknowledge Pamela as the crown princess of Middletown City.
"Are you leaving my mother!" Alice asked, caught up in confusion. Her father leaving her Mom at this age? They've come a long way as a couple.
Does it have to do with her, about her death? Her mother accused father of being responsible for her supposed death and he couldn't bear the taunting anymore?
"You are not my daughter, Alice," Tarvan declared. He still hasn't been able to find a place in his broken heart to place Alice.
"I am your daughter, Father. I have always been your daughter. Not in words but indeed. That heart of yours has always held me close even after the news of my death.
I don't know if you have other kids, but I am your first and most cherished child. I was the Jewel of the royal house when I was Alive with you.
You can vent your anger and displeasure as much as you do, but I won't take it if you say I am not your daughter. Because you know very well that I have your DNA.
Whatever has happened between you and mother, let it go. I'm here now, I'm back into your lives, and anything else besides happiness, I don't vote for it" Alice declared.
Pamela was excited. This is the first time she heard the words of her mother as bold as a princess that she truly is.
"You can now talk back to me, right? Your words are distinct, reasonable and hold facts and truth. And yes, you are my daughter biologically but you have no regards and respect as a royalty.
I do not acknowledge you as my daughter, my blood and my flesh. No child of mine would do something so preposterous like you did. You've always dared me all your life.
But I don't want to care anymore. I am an old man now and I have a greater responsibility towards my people and my kingdom. Just live your life the way you want with your daughter henceforth.
And again, I think you should talk to your mother and not me. I gave her what she wanted and I'm free, happy to let her have her freedom again. You both should bask in the euphoria of your new found freedom and reunion" Tarvan declared.
He glanced at Pamela and kissed her temple before turning to go. It's done now. He would be returning to Middletown City that day. He has no reason to remain in Oak City.
"Where are you going grandfather?" Pamela asked, her eyes welled up with tears. This is too much. Despite her Mom being back, her grandparents aren't going to be happy and celebrate with her together?
"To my home, Pamela. I am going back to my kingdom and to my people. And I hope that you will always remember that I am your grandfather by coming to see him once in a while" Tarvan replied and left.
Clarion didn't say anything to all Tarvan said. She was just quiet. What is most important to her is that her daughter returned. Alice has returned from the dead.
Few hours later, Ellis Hayden sat by Leah's bedside. Pamela had called him to inform him that his wife was hospitalized. He asked her what happened and she told him everything.
The news of Alice's return came as a thing of shock and surprise to him as well. With all that has happened between their children, how will she look into Alice's face?
This was what he was trying to explain to her back then. Pamela is Alice's daughter. Now, her bestie that was supposedly thought dead had actually returned, she never died.
This is difficult for him to absorb. Louis and Pamela had gone their separate ways and the mothers are meeting again. Five little cuties in between them. What will happen now?
He would just sit back and watch Leah clean up the mess she'd created, that is, if she's able to clean it up. Because, not all mess can be cleaned.
He took his phone and dialed Louis' phone "Your mother is hospitalized and Pamela's mother is back" Ellis informed, ignoring the greetings from his son.
Louis doesn't understand what his father said. Isn't Pamela's mother dead? What does his father mean by saying her mother is back? Back from where?
"Pamela's mother is dead, dad" Louis corrected. As for his mom, he wishes her a quick recovery. Whatever happens to her besides death, he's never going to show up there.
"So we thought. She's not dead. She's back to her daughter and family and your mother couldn't bear the shock of it, she passed out…" Ellis explained.
"Not dead?... that's amazing!!" Louis blurted.
As all this was going on, Maxwell and Arabella had landed in Oak City and got themselves lodged in a hotel.
"Do you think we are doing the right thing, Max?" Arabella asked. She felt pressured by her brother to come along.
They might also be a part of the Hayden's family by blood, they can and would never be able to be on par with their elder brother, Louis.
"Trust me, Arabella. For once, I ask you to trust me. This is the only chance we have to claim our identity. If we don't stand up for ourselves, no one will do it for us" Maxwell assured.
Celina Delmark had refused to go along with her kids. And since they insisted, she let them be. Ellis had kept them in the dark far too long.
Now, Maxwell wanted his real identity and he took his sister along. She only hopes that the future becomes better and brighter for them.
"What about Mom, are we just going to leave her out?" Arabella asked, completely unsure of what was running through her brother's mind.
"Just follow, each step at a time and everything becomes clearer the more you walk side by side with me" Maxwell declared.
Late in the evening, Leah Hayden opened her eyes. She saw her husband by her side. She tried to raise herself to a sitting position.
Ellis gave her a hand and helped her sit up, supporting her behind with a pillow. Leah glared at her husband, she knew what led to her, opening her eyes in the hospital.
"Are you alright?" Ellis asked, looking at her intently, as if searching for fear in those eyes.
"I don't think so. I saw Alice. Is it real, was I hallucinating or was it her ghost?" Leah asked, holding Ellis' wrist, afraid that what she saw was real.
"You need to calm down Leah. The mystery of Alice's return is still so blank to me. But the only thing I know is that she's not dead, she'd never died all these years!" Ellis answered frankly.
Leah was alarmed!!
That evening, Louis and Romeo decided to check on his mother. His father had ordered him to come over. His Mom was hospitalized and he wouldn't even be filial enough to check on her.
Reluctantly, Louis decided to go, Romeo opted to go with him and they arrived at the hospital.
Unknown to Pamela that Louis just drove into the parking lot, she walked out, hand in hand with Fred Meyer. They appeared cute together, a portrait of a perfect couple.
Fred Meyer turned to glance at her with doting eyes and the latter smiled shyly. Louis paused in his track, his gaze on the two friends.
Seeing Pamela with another man was sending him crazy. His eyes turned red and his palm formed a fist. His eyes fixed on their intertwined fingers.
Just then, Pamela turned her gaze in a certain direction and she sighted Louis..
