Chapter 114: Chapter 114

She stepped out and glanced at the address again, Room 520. She must find out how those ladies know her mother!

They gave her 7pm but she'd arrived ten minutes before the time. She didn't tell her grandma who she was going to meet. She doesn't want to make her unnecessarily worried and restless.

Just then, her phone rang. It was Fred Meyer. Since she's got a few minutes to spare, she answered the phone.

"Hey babe," Fred Meyer called. He seemed to be in a noisy arena. The pitch of his voice was a little too high.

"Fred Meyer, how are you?" Pamela found her voice rising steadily in a pitch as well, trying to ensure Fred could hear her.

"I'm coming over to take you to a movie. Are you free?" He shouted into the phone.

"Not now. I'm in the West side hotel. I'm meeting with some friends. If I am able to end the discussion with them, I'll call you" Pamela replied.

"I'll wait for you in the hotel premises then. When you are done, we'll drive to the movies" Fred Meyer suggested.

"Fine. I'll call you then" Pamela replied and hung up. She took the elevator and at exactly 7pm, she was in front of room 520. She pressed the doorbell and waited.

It wasn't quite thirty seconds, the door opened and she walked in. She saw the two ladies, now dressed in a beautiful dress but as usual, a veil was over their faces.

"Hello," Pamela said, glancing from one of the women to the other. She really cannot say who is sister Susana among the two women.

"Hello. I'm Margaret" One of the women said, coming over and hugging Pamela. She's so beautiful. If she sees her mother's face, she would be shocked. That's if she knows what she looks like.

"And you are sister Susana, I guess" Pamela said, going over to the other Nun and hugging her.

"You are right, my dear" Susana said and hugged Pamela affectionately. Her daughter. She got to hold her for the first time in her life.

She held Pamela longer than Margaret did. Susana's tears dropped on Pamela's shoulder. The older woman cannot stop herself from sobbing.

She sniffled. Pamela wore a high collar dress, hence she didn't feel the drop of her tears on her skin. But when She sniffled, holding her tightly, Pamela raised her off her and asked "Are you alright?"

"I will be alright, henceforth" Susana replied and sniffled. She brought Pamela to sit down.

As soon as Pamela sat down, she asked "Do I know you? I feel so much attracted to you and have been restless since morning"

Rather than answer, Susana blurted into a loud sob. She stood up abruptly and excused herself. She went into the restroom and covered her face with her palm.

She closed her mouth and sobbed quietly for a while. Her daughter, her biological daughter, her mind and soul recognises her.

She understood the voice of her soul and the tingling of her mind. She took it to be familiar and attractive. How does she explain to her that she is the woman that gave her life?

"Thank you for honouring my invitation. I really don't know how to appreciate you enough for coming. And how much you stood by Pamela during those trying times.

The role you both played, staying by her side and keeping her strong can never be overestimated. Especially for my son, I owe you both a lot. Thank you.

But I particularly invited you here, to let you know how sorry I am about Pamela's experience these Many months. I don't how I completely lost her in my memory.

Not even a trace of her. And the first scanty recollection I had, Miranda got it twisted and said she was the one. I believed her, without realising I was with a counterfeit.

I wish I could turn back the hands of time. I would have made everything good. She hates me, I've wounded her heart and I don't know how to bind up her wounds and stop the bleeding…" Louis explained, sighing audibly.

"I know you, President Hayden. I know how much you loved and doted on Pamela. Whatever happened, is not really your fault" Lucas stated, blatantly.
