Chapter 110: Chapter 110
Pamela got to the car and swallowed hard. She touched her lips, he kissed her. Louis really kissed her. Did he miss her so much, is he desirous of her?
She cleaned her tears. At that moment when he held her close, she inhaled his body scent. It's as powerful as before. He still looks so charming and sweet.
Her dear Louis will forever remain the most handsome man she'd ever seen. She closed her eyes and inhaled a deep breath. She wants to imagine him holding her close again.
She bent her head and smelled her dress, it had a faint fragrance of Louis' body. That's amazing. She isn't going to throw the cloth into the laundry basket when she gets home.
She would remove it and take it into her closet. She wants to perceive that special body fragrance each time she opens her closet. Louis' perfume has cool but long lasting effects.
"If only he is not married. If only he didn't marry that bitch" How can it be heard that she ended up with Louis Hayden after so much scandal?
Then they would dig up information and know that he divorced Miranda Alvan to be with her again. There's no amount of body wash that can make her clean from the scandal that would break out again.
Those who had murdered her character in the past will pick it up again. They would say she made him leave his wife and daughter and got back to her. In fact, they would say more harsh words to her than she can ever imagine.
What about her grandma? She mustn't know that she still loves him. She cannot afford to hurt her again. She cannot allow her to feel disrespected.
As she was driving home, her phone rang. She checked who the caller ID was and saw it's her grandfather.
Her mind almost skipped. She hadn't talked with him for a long time. She parked by the side of the road and answered her phone.
"Grandfather, I missed you" Pamela said as soon as she answered the phone. Her eyes went moist. How can she completely forget her grandfather?
"It's evident how much you missed me, my daughter. I quite understand that you really missed me" Tarvan snorted. He once told Alyana to tell her to call him. She never did.
He's also certain that she knew that his concubine had a baby, yet she didn't respond. He released her finances to her with all the interest and dividend, yet she didn't call him.
How can she tell him now that she misses him and he would believe her? His grey hairs didn't just grow on his head because of numbers in age, but as a result of wisdom.
"I'm sorry grandfather. I have been wrong in my attitude towards you. Please forgive me" Pamela apologised.
She is an ungrateful daughter. How can she not call the King despite releasing her financial account back to her?
"Do you think that I hate you, Pamela?" Tarvan asked and almost immediately continued "You are my daughter. You are Alice's gift to me in my old age. No matter what happens in this life, you should know that you meant a lot to me.
Only you make me feel that I didn't lose Alice, completely and forever. I missed her but you fill a vacuum in my heart that no one else would have been able to fill except Alice herself" Tarvan concluded.
"I'm really sorry grandfather. I know that you love me. I also know that you have accepted me as your daughter and not as a granddaughter. Please forgive my childishness" Pamela pleaded.
"That's fine. How is your grandma, is she fine, is she alright?" Tarvan asked. He knew his granddaughter was a smart woman. She definitely would have known that things aren't just alright between them both.
"Grandma is doing great. She's happy nursing her great grandchildren as well as the newborn. She's the new grand nanny that my kids have.
But grandfather, my grandma and you have a misunderstanding. She doesn't want to return home to Middletown City. Did you hurt her so much?" Pamela asked.
"First, congratulations on the birth of Ethan, my great grandson. Is he Louis' baby?" Tarvan asked.
"Yes, he is Louis' son," Pamela answered. She can guess what her grandfather is thinking in his mind at the moment. He would be wondering if they deceived him back then.
"Alright, congratulations. And for the second part of your question, yes. I really hurt your grandma very much. I did things that I am ashamed to even say to you. But I regret my actions and I want to make up with her" Tarvan confessed.
"I suspected so too. She'd been so unhappy when she came here. But grandfather, you should make up with her so you both can be happy together" Pamela suggested.
"I will. I should be in Oak City in two months. Meanwhile, tell your grandma that little princess Clarion is dead and another princess arrived this morning. Her name is peculiar. Princess peculiar.
I was just able to get out of my chambers and brightened up after the death of my second daughter. It wasn't easy for me. Alice, my eldest , died. Many years later, her little sister died. This is hard for me.
I really wished I could have your grandma's shoulder to lean on. In times like these, I missed her more. Tell her I missed her and that I still love her very much" Tarvan said with a shaking voice.
Just then a car parked in front of Pamela's. A certain woman stepped out from the passenger seat dressed in a Nun attire from her head to her toes.
Her face was covered with a veil and she walked towards Pamela's car. When Pamela saw her, her heart started beating fast. Her hands shivered as the woman approached the side of the car where the driver's seat was and gently tapped on it.
