Chapter 109: Chapter 109

"Keeping divorcing women. At age thirty, you already have two wives, six children by two women. I don't want people associating your imperfect life with my kids.

Just stay away from my kids and I. I'll have the lawyer draw out a way and time you can be with them. And of course, you'll have to explain to them how you've lived with your new wife.

They saw your wedding pictures. They know what you've done. I have never said anything negative about their father to them. But they have an idea of what you've done to me and us.

Only Ethan doesn't know anything. So you'll have to explain to them who that woman that wore a wedding dress was doing besides you, and mind you, don't lie to my kids" Pamela screamed.

Louis' sniffled. His life is in disarray. What kind of a man and father is he? But in all these, he didn't mean to hurt Pamela and the kids this way.

Pamela picked her bag and wanted to walk past Louis when he grabbed her wrist and pulled her to himself. Within seconds, he forced a kiss on her and held her close to his body with his second hand.

Pamela struggled with him but Louis wasn't interested in letting her go. He kept kissing her and suddenly, he let her go. But what he felt next on his chin was a slap.

Pamela's pain was embedded in that single slap. It hurts. Louis felt his chin burn as if it was near to a burning coal. Without being told, he knew that part of his face would definitely go reddened.

"How dare you touch me with those hands of yours? Those same hands you've used to hold that bitch you called a wife are what you used in touching me?

Do you want me to sue you for harassment? You dare to place those flirty lips of yours on me? You are sick, your head is spinning in a downward path.

I think you need to see the doctor again. Because this time, you'll go crazy and end up in a mental asylum" Pamela cursed.

"Stop treating me like this. I lost my memory, Pamela. I couldn't remember anything. I didn't recognize you nor the kids in my brain and heart.

But I remembered Miranda Alvan because she used to be my childhood friend. Why are you blaming me for something that happened unintentionally?" Louis retorted.

For God's sake, he would never do anything to Pamela like that in his wildest thoughts. She should understand him, she should see through his predicament as well.

"If you do not recognise me, your mind also doesn't recognise me? You have no guilt whenever you pressed that woman below you and fuck her?

You even let her suck you and I'm sure you suck her too with those same lips you now kissed me with. What audacity Louis, who the hell are you?

I will forgive you because I walked here myself. But I won't be meeting you after today. And there won't be another time where you and I will be alone again.

Because if you dare to do what you just did, I will ensure you go completely crazy and tell the kids that the unfortunate man who fathered them has been locked up in isolation in a mental home" Pamela seethed.

Louis' tears now dropped. He didn't say anything or try to stop her as she walked out of his office. She shut the door and the tears she had been holding back ran down in succession.

Romeo was actually waiting, lingering to talk to her. When he saw her stepped out, and then her brokenness, his humanity let loose.

His eyes went teary. The pain in her heart was only being expressed in fragments by her tears. Why is it like this?

"Pamela. Why don't you get back together with him?" He advised. This pain will heal when she gets back to him. Naturally, the pain will go away.

"I can't get back to him. I will never do such a thing. Louis is married and I can't be a mistress" Pamela replied, going towards the elevator. Romeo stopped her and said "But you still love him, right?"

"I love Louis more than my life. I still love him and I don't think I will ever be able to stop loving him" She replied and got into the elevator.

Romeo wanted to tell her to follow her heart and get back together with him but the elevator closed up and he went to see his boss.

When Romeo got into the office, he saw Louis sitting, his face covered in tears. He raised his head and glanced towards the door.

Romeo was dazed. Louis' eyes were as red as his chin. He's very fair and white skin seems to have been discoloured. He glared at him when Louis said " Is this really me?

When did I become like this? Am I a different person from the Louis Hayden I used to be? Why is my life deteriorating? Why can't I keep something as small as being faithful?"

He sniffled. And his tears came again. He touched his chin and it still hurts. Does her heart hurt like his chin was hurting at that moment?

He is broken. Was she so broken when he threw her out of his hospital ward? Was she this broken when he yanked her away from the office and she tripped?

She's right. Her grandma was also right. Maybe he was a terrible man that doesn't deserve to be loved? Maybe he had only brought her pain and humiliation.

Maybe it's better for him to stay away like she'd said. He needs to hide and nurse his wounds and not open her own wounds and make her bleed again.

But he loves her. He cannot live without her. He will still try and pursue her. Maybe she no longer loves him. Maybe she'd gotten to the point where she no longer cared or loved him.

"I don't know what to say to you, President Hayden. But I can only encourage you that the best is yet to come. You and Pamela will eventually be happy, I'm sure of that, as long as you do not give up" Romeo encouraged.

Pamela still loves him and he also loves her. That attraction will eventually bring them back together. Their kids will bring them together someday. Only that he cannot say when that will be.

"I don't think I will ever be able to get Pamela back. She's given up on me, she no longer has that love for me anymore. I have pushed her to the point of no- return" Louis mumbled.

"And yet she just told me that she loves you more than her own life" Romeo disclosed.

Louis raised his head and glared at Romeo sharply.
