Chapter 104: Chapter 104
Louis paused and glared at Clarion "Why are you trying to stop me from being alone with Pamela? She's my fiancée. I don't accept this break up from her.
I love her and to this present moment, I still love her. I want to talk to her alone. Please Grandma Clarion, just let me be with her, alone"
"And I am telling you Louis Hayden that I won't let that happen. She's not your fiancée anymore and she just broke up with you. She waited for you to be alright. Despite frolicking around with your wife, she waited for you.
I am a witness to her break up with you. You have a wife. My daughter cannot condescend to be your mistress. I won't let her be humiliated by you anymore" Clarion bellowed.
Louis was quiet. He would return. He would ensure he'd separated from Miranda legally. There's no way he can return to pursue Pamela without being divorced with that bitch.
Clarion walked away from him. When she walked in, the kids were done with their breakfast. They were going to be able to drive to school.
"Alyana, go with the chauffeur" Clarion instructed and Alyana nodded. She went upstairs to check Pamela in her room, but she's not there.
She checked her study and saw her. She had already placed Ethan on his bed. The little fellow was asleep.
She had brought the entire files out and would send them to him one of these days. After that she wouldn't be having Louis' properties with her besides the kids.
"Pamela" Clarion walked in.
"Grandma, sit down. I have two things to discuss with you this morning. I'll begin with the most pleasant one" Pamela announced, forcing herself to smile.
She is responsible for her own happiness. She either makes herself happy or ruins her happy life because of a man who is happily married and has a daughter with his wife.
The social media had called her a third party in Louis Hayden and Miranda Alvan's love story. She and her five kids need to stay low key, far away from Louis for her happiness and longevity of life.
"Oh yes, my great daughter. Tell me" Clarion urged. She is feeling great. Pamela has quickly shoved the idea of Louis off her mind and returned to her calm composure again.
"I woke up this morning to find a few emails that I least expected. Grandfather had unfrozen my finances both in Middletown City and here in Oak City.
And guess what, he let me have the billions he received when he sold the company. Not even a penny is out of it. And all the money had tripled.
I am a wealthy woman now, Grandma. I feel so happy. I didn't know I will still experience better days again after Leah Hayden sent me away from the annex cooperation" Pamela explained in excitement.
"Oh that. Congratulations dear. You deserve it. It's a well deserved honour for you, my child. Now, we can think about what you'll be investing in.
Besides I have my entire savings stuck up for you and the kids. With this, we can make a great investment and you'll be a strong woman again" Clarion chimed.
She hopes Tarvan isn't doing it to make her forgive him and return. He knows what is most important to her now is Pamela and her kids. These were her bonus and her proof that she's not a barren woman.
"Thank you grandma. I'll communicate with grandpa as well. But I feel I don't deserve so much wealth and treasures that my life is suddenly being stuck with.
My dad was a nobody. He was a mere Steward. Isn't this luck far too much for my little age?" Pamela stuttered.
"No, my child. I realized, after it was late, that your father was one of the bravest men I've ever known. He might have worked as Steward in the palace, he was a noble man.
He was bold and went for what he wanted. He loved the princess and he was not a coward who would cringe into his shell and only let his desire burn within him.
But then, you are a royalty. The granddaughter of Clarion. You have my blood running through your veins. You are an exceptionally intelligent woman, like Alice.
Royalty is in you. You were born with the blood of it and not just being made a royalty. So what do you expect then, to languish in poverty? No way!
No child of mine will experience that terrible fate in this life. So relax, what your grandfather gave you was not a privilege, it's your right. Do you understand me, Princess Pamela?" Clarion requested.
Pamela blushed and smiled. She thanked her grandma. They would put heads together then and see what investment they can be involved in.
"Now, what's the second thing you want to talk about?" Clarion asked.
"I wanted to surprise you, grandma. I thought you would be happy but alas, it seemed it's not coming to pass soon" Pamela said and sighed audibly.
"Just say it," Clarion urged her. Now, she's making her think far already. She's making her have mixed feelings.
Pamela nodded and continued "I hired a private detective to investigate my mother's graveyard and who knew about her death.
The only thing she got was that she really died and the government handled her burial. After further investigation, the man that was responsible for putting her remains to mother earth suddenly disappeared.
He was never found. Hence he didn't return to give a report and ten years ago, the man also died in another City. No one knew exactly what happened to my mommy's remains.." Pamela started sobbing.
Clarion was dazed. That's why no one ever found Alice's tomb. But there might be someone who knows. The fellow who gave her the gift must know about Alice's last resting place.
"Can you imagine how my mommy's remains were desecrated? He probably didn't bury her and he disappeared with the money he was paid to do the job.
How can my mommy suffer such a horrible fate? Her parents abandoned her and her husband died. She couldn't even live to see her daughter. Oh mommy.
Why was I born? I am the reason why all these miseries befell her. No wonder I couldn't get a man to love me till the last minute. None of them ever took me to the altar.
I am a terrible child. Why didn't she abort me back then? Who said she should let me live? I am the reason why she came to an untimely end.
Grandma, you should have forced her to abort the unfortunate me that was planted in her belly. She would have been alive and you wouldn't have to spend the rest of your life without your daughter.
Why was I allowed to see the light of this world? I don't deserve it. I feel like hurting myself to repay for the pain and misery I caused my grandparents and the untimely end I brought upon my parents.
Maybe I have been jinxed. I don't deserve to live…" Pamela was ranting when Clarion yelled at her.
"Stop talking nonsense!" She snapped at her in fury.
