Chapter 105: Chapter 105
Clarion just stared at her. What is wrong with Pamela to utter such words? This isn't the first time she is going to know that they still haven't found Alice's grave.
She wondered if Alice was buried in the sky and that till that moment, they hadn't been able to know or find someone who knows about her grave.
Pamela knows this too. She didn't even know she went ahead and tried hiring someone to do it. Just like she got answers back then, it resulted in a dead end this time again.
Was that the reason she said so many unpleasant words to herself or is it because she saw Louis and broke up with him?
"Pamela" Clarion called and raised Pamela's chin to glare at her. Her eyes were red and she was sniffling. Her pain was tearing her emotionally.
"Why are you finding a convenient excuse to sob because of Louis? You are hurting, and it's because you couldn't be with the father of your kids.
These tears have got nothing to do with Alice's grave that was not found. You are like that proverbial bird that wants to fly and a little child throws pebbles at it.
It will take off and fly so high. One will think it's the pebbles thrown at it, but in the real sense, it's because the bird wanted to fly initially.
You are hurt that you officially broke up your engagement with Louis Hayden. It is hard, I know. You love him, I know that too. But you took the right decision to break up with him.
Louis is married. He has a wife and a daughter. You can't condescend so low to become someone else's mistress. This is not right.
You should keep your self esteem. Raise your kids and someday, you will find a man who truly loves you. Maybe you eventually find a man who will love you and take you for who you are.
And if no one wants to be involved with a woman like you, who has five kids for another man, then raise your kids alone. You don't Louis for that.
You are financially stable to raise them. What else do you want, Pamela? Please don't open my healed wounds and make me bleed again.
I love my daughter. But I feel sorry for you the most. You couldn't suckle your mother's breast. You possibly didn't experience the love of a mother, but all the same, don't go and find Alice's grave anymore.
Don't hurt yourself anymore. We only have each other now. Be strong for me and for the kids. I will try to remain strong and be by your side until my last breath" Clarion concluded.
Louis arrived at the company. He is back to himself again. He sent for Romeo and when he came in, he asked "What happened to the annex cooperation?
I stopped by there and I learned the president's office had been vacant for months" he demanded.
"Your mother took it away from Pamela. The princess was struggling to pay her bills and got a few jobs until her grandmother showed up again" Romeo answered.
Louis gnashed his teeth. "My…" Louis paused and rather said "Leah Hayden again? She does it again and again. If she ever dares me henceforth, I will fight back" he mumbled under his breath.
"Inform my lawyer to prepare a divorce procedure for Miranda and I. And have the Neurologist who conspired along with Miranda, arrested…" Louis instructed.
He must put things in order before returning to Pamela. He must get his fiancée back. He loves her and she does too. He brought out the glittering engagement ring that she returned.
He lifted it to his lips and kissed it. Then he closed his palm and sighed. His love life is losing its roots. He must salvage it otherwise, he would lose Pamela forever.
Miranda Alvan tried with all difficulty to raise herself to a sitting position. Her belly was still bandaged. She remembered everything that Louis did to her.
Her fear finally came through. She'd dread the outcome of their relationship whenever he recovers. Now, what will happen to her?
The thoughts of the calamity that would befall her made her body soaked with sweat. It wasn't quite a few minutes, Police officers arrived at the hospital ward.
The scene was appealing as the chief consultant in the Neurological department was handcuffed and walked away before the glare of everyone in the hospital.
The middle aged man bowed his head in shame and dishonour. He cannot escape prison. He would definitely rot in jail. He knew the strength of the Hayden's family.
He would not only rot in jail, he would have to compensate Louis Hayden for the time wasted in amnesia. What had he gotten himself into?
A man at his age should have been able to overcome the temptation of dining with a seductress. She seduced him and true to her words, she paid him handsomely.
In kind and in cash. He only wanted to take a bit from her free offer. But he couldn't bring himself to stop going for it, he did again and again, he kept plunging into her as often as she opened her slippery V for him.
In Middletown City, in the dead of the night, Tarvan was awakened by the agonising scream from his first concubine and next, there was a hasty banging on the door of his chamber.
"Your highness, Clarion is dying…" she screamed.
