Chapter 102: Chapter 102

It's a matter of one hour and Isabella's things were delivered and she was handed over to her father. Romeo did the documentation and signed in place of Louis.

Louis watched as Isabella was taken away and he couldn't do anything about it. He was so excited when the news of her got to his ears.

From the moment Miranda Alvan told him that she was pregnant. He had looked forward to having her in his arms. He was excited about someone else's baby while his own son was deprived of his attention and love.

He wished that as Isabella goes to her father, that Ethan and his siblings will come to him as well. He is their father and he needs his kids as well.

That night, everyone was in their world. Louis hurt and remorseful, Leah Hayden cried and had no more strength in her to sob.

She held Ellis' hand but the latter couldn't help her. Louis said even in her death, he would not be her son.

She'd been through a lot because of Louis. She was actually the mastermind of Pamela and himself being parents together.

She could exchange her life for Louis and do anything for him. But this singular mistake had made all her love for him to be forgotten.

Ellis had been quiet. She had sobbed and asked his father to intervene. But he said he doesn't want to be involved. He clearly told her that she should sort herself out with her son.

In the dead of the night, Clarion was awake. He held the bracelet and glared at it. How did this bracelet return to her through Pamela?

Alice is dead. Did anyone out there know the connection between Pamela and her late mother? From the information she gathered, Alice died without being able to hold her baby.

Pamela was taken to the orphanage where she was adopted. Did Alice handover the bracelet to someone who kept it until now?

If yes, then someone is watching Pamela all these years. Who could that be? Is she safe? Does she need to hire bodyguards more than the few they now have?

She would do that. If someone somewhere was watching her, it only means they can as well hurt her. She can't afford to see anything happen to her granddaughter. She would just die from cardiac arrest.

But then the flower. That's Alice's favourite colour. Did Alice also give such instructions? The scarf where the bracelet was kept is indeed the one from many years ago.

It appears old and almost torn, but it's the same scarf. Whoever sent this must definitely know where Alice was buried. They need to know who that person was. He might probably be able to lead them to Alice's graveyard.

That night, at the hermit, sister Susana sighed softly and pouted her lips. This is becoming more frightening. Linus kept coming in her dream and asking her about his daughter.

She woke up and was deep in thought when Margaret came to sit at her feet. She explained everything to her and they both remained quiet for a long time.

"Your prayers and supplication for his soul had paid off. He is happy but couldn't find that rest because he is worried that his daughter had been abandoned" sister Margaret explained.

"She's a happy woman now. She'd learnt to live without her mother for twenty eight years. At this time, she doesn't need Alice anymore" Sister Susana.

"But what about the tears of your parents? Your mother to be precise. Tears of mothers hold a significant place in the heart of the creator.

If her tears trouble the court of the creator, he might want you to show yourself to her and wipe away her tears. She'd sobbed for many years for no reason.

And maybe Alice's husband was always at the receiving end of the torture your mother's tears is causing the courts if the creator. His name has always been mentioned.

But then, he couldn't find you in the resting place of the upright. He needed to call out to you and used his daughter as the connection. What do you think, mother Susana?" Sister Margaret explained.

Sister Susana stood up in her white tunic and walked to stand by the window. She folded her hands across her breast and closed her eyes.

A lone tear dropped and touched her white tunic. She sniffled. She can't turn back on her vows. How can she quickly forget her sacred vow and return to show herself in the world of men?

She'd lived in isolation all these years and prayed for the soul of her dead husband. Only now that she thinks that she was drawing closer to her eternal life in the creator's world, Linus now showed up.

"I think you need to step out of the convent and be Alice Johnson again. This might be the creator's will" Margaret advised.

"No, how can I leave my divinity and my sacred vows and go back to mingle with the men and women of this world? It's too late for me," Sister Susana replied sharply.

"It can never be too late to wipe away the tears of your mother and embrace the sweet hugs of your daughter" Margaret expounded.

"I've gone far. I can not return to who I used to be. I cannot return to be Alice Johnson the princess of Middletown City" Sister Susana declared.
