"Who?" Louis asked in a hoarse voice. The name Miranda Alvan should never be mentioned in his Mansion ever again. He's contemplating on what he'd do not to harm the innocent baby.

"I don't know him. But he said he would pull down the roof if his baby was not given to him" the servant replied.

Louis nodded. He said "when next he comes, let me know" he declared and went upstairs with heavy footsteps. He is damned. His fiance and his kids.

He pushed open the door and squinted. This is not the bedroom he shared with Pamela before experiencing memory loss. He stepped out and went to the second master bedroom.

He tried to open it but it was locked up. He went to his study and got the keys of that bedroom from the several spares he kept there.

He opened it and saw the room. He glanced at his bed. He sighed. He made love to her on that bed before taking the kids away to his mom's place.

He left her sleeping on that bed. He sank into it and caressed it as if he was seeing Pamela on it. They made Ethan on that bed and he left her to rest a while.

Why didn't he stay with her, why didn't he experience that shock while with her. She would have taken good care of him and be by his side until his full recovery.

He would have recovered several months ago. They would have been together and gotten married. He would have owned her entirely. And they would have been happy with their kids.

But his mom called him to come over. He honoured her invitation and even took the kids along. Why did she do this to him? Why did she choose to hurt him this way?

He went to the closet and was dazed. All the kids' belongings were kept there. Pamela's things were also kept there. Everything and everything that would have reminded him of her and the kids were kept there.

This is pure inhumanity. More than before, he knew the decision to separate him and Pamela was stronger than he had imagined.

He sniffled and cleaned his tears. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. He turned back and saw Romeo standing by the doorway.

He gestured to him to walk in. Romeo came closer and saw Louis' red eyes and dry lips. He had sobbed.

"President Hayden, I'm sorry. I couldn't keep her away from harm when your brain refused to recognise her. I wanted to bring her to you, but after what Mrs Leah did to her, I can't afford to see her go through that inhumane treatment anymore.

Your Mom threatened me. I'm sorry I didn't meet up to your expectations. Please forgive me" Romeo apologised.

Louis nodded. He believed Romeo's words. In his thirty years of existence, he'd never known his mother like this. She was pure like a diamond in her love for him.

But when she became a beast, he cannot tell. Pamela is a toxic woman is all she was chanting back then. She said he can't be with her because her personalities were different.

What about her? Isn't her case far worse than toxicity? She split two hearts in love just to satisfy her ego and prove to Pamela that she gave birth to him.

Now, her egoism has been satisfied. But the consequences of it weigh more than the point the ego had proved. He would never forgive her.

"Someone is here to see you. He came with his lawyer and wants a peaceful settlement" Romeo declared.

Louis turned to glare at him. He feels too tired to use his energy on talking. Romeo understand what his gaze meant and said "I think he is the father to Miranda's baby"

Louis nodded and walked past Romeo. He came downstairs and found two men waiting outside his door. He walked out to them and Romeo closely behind.

He didn't invite them in but just stood before them. The two men greeted him and even stretched their hands but he just glanced at their outstretched hands and ignored them.

The two men exchange glances. The lawyer first offered him a court order asking him to release the baby to its rightful father.

The child's mother had refused to acknowledge the real father of the child because she was married. But because that child was already conceived before she got married, it implied she was trying to separate the father from the daughter.

"Isabella is my daughter," Miranda's ex-husband declared.

Louis ignored him and turned to Romeo. "Call my lawyer and do the necessary documentation and let him have his daughter" he instructed and left them.
