Earlier in the hospital# omniscient p.o.v····

" I'll miss you" chris said as he watched her hold onto the doorknob to leave, is it just him or his heart that churned when her really soft and beautiful hands clutched the doorknob.

He wished he was the person she was going to hold onto just that he never will leave but this time to stay with her even after high school. He never believed in high school relationships neither did he want to believe that girls like tiana..could be friends with him

She was sassy with zero tolerance issues, she was easily pissed off yet fun to be with, beautiful and soft-hearted...he didn't want to believe he was starting to like her yet his subconscious had betrayed him by exposing the words he hid inside him anytime she was around...so when she spun around expecting to see his usual smirk which was also wipped off with seriousness

Now not only did his subconscious betray him but his facial expressions...wow

" you just keep saying you'll miss me, are you planning on disappearing into space?" She asked hiding the suprised look on her face

" actually yes " he answered quite disturbed as she raised her eyebrows

" really? "

" no...I mean...I'm leaving for the states soon "he opened up dropping the bombshell on christy who had started developing feelings for him

" how soon?" She managed to ask still masking her feelings

" after ss2" he answered  feeling his heart churn as he heard her gulp lightly

Christy had never fallen in love before and even now she still didn't know if she really was in love with the guy she once felt was thoughtless, annoying, frustrating and yet the most handsome soul which her heart called beautiful the first day she saw him.

Talking of falling in love what was shola and bubbie's argument on high school relationship the other time???

She gulped hard looking at him saying he'd miss her without the smirk but a serious look yet with those seriousness in his eyes held one thing

Is that even possible? She was doubting her feelings...she never fell in love and now she was trying to catch feelings for him , he just announced that he wasn't even going to finish Melviks High with his set.....most importantly with her....she felt her eyes grow watery as she swallowed hard.she needed a distraction, it was past 5 pm already and in less than an hour she should be home. But no!!! Right now she didn't care.  she quickly face palmed the door again holding onto it to leave when she stopped abruptly wipping her teary eyes, she turned to chris with the sweetest smile she ever could have

" would you like to come with me ? "

Chris immediately beamed what would he be doing in a hospital which only amounted to his sickness? He smiled at christy

" Hell yeah " he replied as the duo giggled...

Christy's p.o.v

" how do we get pass the nurse at that table ?" Chris asked as I rubbed my temples slightly stylishly glancing at the nurse who stood at the reception table with a note book while attending to a lady.

" and how can I also get pass her wearing these? "Chris asked again pointing at the patient's uniforms they had insisted he should wear

" would you stop being a tattle tale and think !" I yell a little as chris rolled his eyes

I sure must have taught him that

" we just have to come up with a solution "he replied dryly as I raised my eyebrows at him

" really? Dude I could eat a bag of alphabet and shit out a load of meaningful statement than what you just said now "I retort as we watched the lady at the reception table leave and another older man coming up to the nurse

" THAT'S IT !! "Chris yells as i motioned for him to keep it low

" hey calm down someone could hear us " I whisper furiously as chris chuckled

" that's if we haven't already been caught " he replied as I look around seeing a cleaner stare intensely at our direction

" no shit Sherlock!!! "I muttered turning to face chris who was so engrossed in staring at the reception table

" so what did you come up with ? "

" good day mam'm " I greet the nurse at the reception table with a smile

" young girl how may I help you ? " she asked after returning my greeting

" do you know where the neurological ward is "  I ask as she begins to question me with questions o definitely don't have an answer to..as I glance at chris making his way out at my back. My gaze travels from chris to the nurse until he had successfully made his way out when I turn to the nurse who I forgot was giving me an advice on how to note the symptoms of people who are already losing it

I rolled my eyes at her non-stop lectures. Who even told her that am mentally ill???  I glance at chris who was waving at me to leave

" they will begin to say strange and incoherent speeches...." she continued

" umm...mam'm you're clothes look really nice on you " I say taking few steps back as she stares at me confused probably maybe wondering if i too was losing it

"....no I said mentally ill people start....."

" ummm....you're cap fits you too mam'm...would you like coffee or tea " I say with a wry smile at her before waving at the dumbstruck lady " bye...see you later "  I say as I couldn't help bursting into laughter as i replayed my little mental drama while telling chris what was going on. We both were laughing like lunatics as everyone who passed didn't fail to glance twice at us

While we walked out of the hospital gates still smiling we came across a little crowd gathered around a lady on a faded wrappers who kept shouting at a man on faded blue three-quarters jean short and a tattered t-shirt with a bathroom slippers. Chris was drawing my attention to the crowd

" c'mon lets see what's going on "he whined pulling me who reluctantly drew my steps lazily

"Don't want to be a snooper "I say as he smirked

"  says the girl who creeped up on Helen and....."

"Alright...let's go but we'll hurry up " I agree cutting him off as he grinned grabbing my hands softly

" c'mon a little sneak wouldn't hurt "

"Yeah keep telling yourself that "I say as I chuckled while we approached the small crowd gathered around the duo

I buy rice from mama blessing come give am #1000 so I no collect change cos I tell am to keep the change now i don come ask her for the money she dey holler me say she don chop am  the man explained as the lady quickly retorted

Why you go tell me to keep change?  I be bank???  She asked vexing.

Chris and i pulled out from the crowd laughing our asses out before going over to a nearby boutique to actually look for suitable clothes, while I waited for him to change I looked around the jewelry section admiring a diamond like pendant as I ran my finger through it a cool voice came from behind. It was Chris on a blue three-quarters and  white t-shirts matching it with a pair of sneakers...I really loved his look on the clothes, he looked really cool and cute...I couldn't help cooeing mentally though

" do you like it ? "He asked as I smiled nodding my head

" yep.." I smile " it's beautiful "

" just like you " he replied as i felt my cheeks blush

" so are you going to get it for me ?" I ask as he takes the pendant and slowly dropping it back

" commot eyes if you don't have money " he said as I spank his head

" idiot " I cussed smiling  when my phone rang

" hey hello "

" Christy dad is asking about you " suzy's voice came from the other end

" tell him I'm in mars " I reply as she snorts

" you better start relocating to Jupiter and the rest cause right now no space for you on earth when dad finds out "

" okay then tell him I went for study classes alright ?" I ask her

" but where are you?" She asked as I glanced back to see chris throwing a dart to win a gift and I smile at how serious he seemed at throwing the dart

" am somewhere with someone bye " I hung up before she could reply me as I turn back to meet a  large  red and white teddy bear written "hug me " on its tag as I cooed collecting the teddy and giving chris a hug .

It was past 6 curfew time but here chris and i decided to have the fun of our life so why I changed into black stripe detail jogger knitted chris had waited for me before we went off to lick ice creams walking and humming songs along as he tried to sing off the beat while I quickly scrubbed my ice creams on his mouth and then we had an ice cream fight , before going over to the amusement park as we both rode the merry go round thing shouting and singing on top our voices

We really were happy trying not to think about anything as we laughed hummed songs and sang most of the time off beat of some musics while playing and ice cream fighting and laughing....this was just going to be all perfect only if could make it happen
