I just couldn't concentrate on what mrs bam bam our food and nutrition teacher was teaching...I thought about chris all night long and ended up dozing off like a drunkard.thankfully mrs bam bam's class wasn't all that serious cause they spent all the time making meatballs...
About yesterday's test, it was posted on melviks happenings the stunt bubbie played on our english teacher making her forfeit the test and postponing it to today. Bubbie had acted like there was a wriggle like something inside her clothes making her itch crazily and when miss Amanda the english teacher cared to take a quick peek at what was going on. Bolu, a very mischevious guy had thrown a live worm on her making miss Amanda scream out of the class. and that was how we never wrote the test...
Trimmmmg !!! The bell rang signifying time up.I walked dejectedly to class glancing at chris locker for the umpteenth time.as soon as we all got seated miss Amanda walked in to give us our test.her facial expression was so uneasy. Maybe she thought there was going to be more live worms I the class so she couldn't wait to leave.

" so prefect....later you come for your test results at the staff room....don't make noise and pick up your books to read.alright class " she said hurriedly moving out of the class as everyone who noticed how uneasy she was burst out laughing.
" next time don't mess with us " bolu said standing in front of the class to show off his big teeth as he laughed.
I bent my head on my locker for a second before bringing out my phone to text chris
" hey...are you okay now?" I texted then paused before cancelling it
" I'm sorry I didn't mean to...." I texted again and cancelled it dropping my phone in frustration as I groaned
" heyo lady !! Are you okay? " kemi asked sitting beside me in chris position
" yeah am not okay...I just feel like I'm going to die " I wail aloud. Wherever shola and bubbie went to is only their chi that knows. But as for now kemi was the one here and so far she isn't bad not at all fa
" my goodness Christy! You can't die na " she cried dramatically as I raised one eyebrow at her
" if you die now, there wouldn't be any life achievement about you and as it stands now you only have your first school leaving certificate as the only thing that literally means you'd die a loser...you know "

" I'm just so concerned fa " she shrugged " besides are you still going to the hospital? "
" I think so...where are the other two oafs ?" I ask referring to Bubbie and co.
" Mr. Samuel called them immediately after english test " she answered and my mouth formed into an 'o' shape. They probably must have gone out when bolu was busy announcing rubbish.
" Kemi...I'm off " I told her not waiting for a reply as I dashed out of the class and giving the security man my lame excuse he had let me through the gate.

I got to the hospital precisely chris lodge to meet his mum and sister there.
" good afternoon mam'm "I greeted as she smiled at me
" christy right ?" She asked and i nodded giving his sister a smile
" hey layla "
" christy....how are you? " she asked brightly
"I'm okay though how is chris? "I asked
" doctor said he's okay now and he'll be discharged today but right now he's still asleep "she replied and I heaved a sigh
" thank goodness...can I see him ?" I asked as chris mum nods her head in approval
I quietly open the door and make my way to where Chris was as I sit beside him...
Gosh he looks like a baby when asleep...so cute and adorable, with his face which was stress free...it made me smile. If only I was nicer.

" christy! We'll be back soon okay "she says as i smile at her
If only she knew i was the reason why her brother was in this sick hospital
I brought out my phone to text my friends not to look for me and I also text suzy that i'll come home late.even though I'm asking for my own medicine at least it's for the best...

" hey tacky tiana "I heard a voice spurr me from my dream land. Who would that be
" christy are you awake" I heard someone ask as I felt a wriggle on my neck making me shout as I jump off to see Chris laughing so hard at me as he held a broomstick at his hand
" what was that for? " I yelled as he continued laughing
" were you that scared ?" He asked as I playfully punch his hands.
I wasn't in the mood to get all grumpy. Besides seeing him awake made me satisfied
" douche bag " I call as he grinned
" did you miss me ?"
" oh please...I would have had better things to miss like my test "I said masking my furious blush as he smirked
" told you you're not a good liar " he said scrutinizing me. I didn't realize I had been smiling since so I face palmed myself
" at least that shows am not a spawn of Satan unlike you " I reply him smirking as he rolled his eyes. Soon his mum had come in with his sister with lots of side dishes as chris whined about him being all grown and not a baby to eat in the hospital

" he isn't around" his mum says looking else where. The vibe in the room suddenly grew cold
" okay toby...eat up you're too skinny " layla says trying to cheer the mood as chris rolls his eyes at his sister's remark.
After some minutes of us talking and laughing. His mum and sister gets ready to leave. As I too follow behind
" hey...wait a minute " Chris yells as everyone stops dead in their track

"What happens to me then? You all are leaving "
"Well...we'd be back soon " layla replies unsure of her statement
" I thought you said you weren't a baby ?" I ask sneering as he groaned

"Yes she'll"he answered for me as I glare at him

" yeah..tell that to me when my dad buries me " I say as we all laughed " anyway mam'm don't worry I'll stay "I say as chris smiles widely while layla rolls her eyes at him
