The evening was rapidly getting darker, birds were already returning to their nest since the sun had long ago gone down, evening birds still chirped,Well it's said that birds don't fly at night only bats so I guess it was the bats which made the iriking sounds. An Anglican church across the road were in full swing singing praise and worship songs while a movie shop opposite the Anglican church were playing fireboy's dml through blasting loud speakers

P.Harcourt and it's crazy noise
Chris and I were tired of strolling though we still were not tired of smiling and laughing like maniacs. We sat at a pave across a bungalow house that had a dog's cage with no roof. When we decided to throw stones at the cage and laughing our ass as the German shepherd dog barked voraciously at us
" it's gonna act if we don't stop " I say still throwing stones at its cage
" awwn...don't tell me tough tiana finally became scared of a dog ?"he teased with a smirk as I chuckled playfully smacking his arm
" am not scared...but that thing is really dangerous can't you see " I said pointing at the dog which hasn't stopped glaring daggers at both of us
" you're scared then " he teased further smirking
" am not !!! "I protested as he stood up slowly walking backwards in front of me still smirking
" then show me " he said
" Chris!!! "I tried protesting but my voice found a way to fail me as it came out weakly
" yeah yeah...christy show me your not scared " he replied still with a smirk around his lips
" it's risky though "
He rolled his eyes " who cares about risks anyway just show me your not scared " he said moving closer to the dogs cage and throwing stones while imitating a dog's sound which only infuriated it more as the dog shook it's cage furiously
" Chris!!! " I called out really scared that it may jump out anytime soon and attack us. Chris grinned at me beckoning on me to join. I took one more look at the dog and concluded it was only bluffing cause it wouldn't bite.
Taking my stones, I joined chris to throw stones while sticking out our tongues and making dog sounds
" woah woah woah woah!!! "Â
The dog thumped at its cage furiously.its bark was going to be barely heard cause of the loud music around us.we continued laughing and giggling
" yep! You just bluffing " I screamed in excitement as chris chuckled
" do something you motherfucker !!! "He yelled chuckling as the paws of the dog latched suddenly on the cage shaking it violently
" it's going to come out " I squeaked pausing my stone throw
" c'mon tiana...it's just barking remember barking dogs don't bite "he replied throwing a stone again at it..he really was enjoying himself
" do you always do this? "I asked him smiling
" yep...when I have too much thoughts and i want to lease them out " he replied picking up another stone from the floor
" so what happens next ? "
" just watch."he simply replied turning to the dog again
" yeah do something you sucker "he said and I laughed so hard throwing a stone too as I yelled
" barking dogs don't bite!!! How true is that? " I asked the dog yelling and as if I had pushed it's buttons, it quickly latched the second fore paws on the cage with a loud scary bark accompanying it.
I stood there panicking, I wanted to run but my legs wouldn't carry me as if they mocked my silly behavior...I turned to chris who still had a smirk on his lips as the dog menacingly trying to cone out and tear us apart
" are you kidding me now ? That dog's gonna come out soon and feed our flesh to his puppies so what do we do ? " I wail in fright watching the dog approach menacingly
" Run " chris replied looking cautiously at the dog and as soon as it charged at us chris had taken my hands and soon we were running rapidly while the dog kept barking and charging at us...

We were panting really hard while we rested at the back of the tree breathing heavily
" are you okay? "Chris asked as I rolled my eyes at him
" you nearly killed me there " I retort as he shrugged
" I didn't, it's jack who did it " he replied bringing out a bottle of water which was inside my backpack aa he handed it to me
My eyes widened " jack?! Who's jack "
" jack as in the dog " he replied flatly
" you call him jack ? "
" cause it's his name "
I narrowed my eyes at him " jack knows you too ? "
" somehow yes cause he knows when chasing me after a terrible disturbance I usually come hang around here and since we are friends he doesn't go further " he replies just when my eyes dawn In realization
I still had no idea where we were.I took a full gaze of the environment which had swings decorated with festive lights blue and red that hung around them...there was a fountain in the middle of the garden and mostly arranged whistling pine trees and Palm trees too...it was beautiful
" how do you know about this place ? "I asked Chris as we both stroll to the swings, while I sat down on one he offered to swing it at the back
" dad usually brought me here with him " he replied and at the mention of dad so many thought came running through my head
What was mum and dad going to say now
Dad??? The same person who wouldn't want chris to finish Melviks High with us
Dad?!!!
As in father?  I ask my self awkwardly as I face palmed myself
" really? " I asked trying to get the words flow out of my mouth. Chris comes to seat on the swing next to me slowly going back and forth
" yeah..." his voice came out raspy and yet calm, he was staring into space looking quite edgy
" so jack?? " I asked him holding back whatever that was threatening to spill either from my mouth or my eyes. Chris chuckled lightly
" jack's used to me coming to disturb him and he as usual chasing after me but he never comes around here....he knows this is my favorite place in p.Harcourt " he explained Â
" are you kidding me ? " I ask wide-eyed as chris nodded
" nope...he still will let us see him again if we wish though without disturbing him " he said and I shook my head negatively
" chris one attempt to die is enough " I stated nodding in disapproval as he laughed heartily. His laugh was sounding merrily and his dimples exhibiting itself flawlessly.he stood up coming closer to me making me suddenly so self conscious and nervous
He always had this effect on me and i couldn't help if I also had the same effect on him
" c'mon tiana, he's not gonna harm us" he replied grinning
" I already fell for that once, toby " I said as he held his mouth in a ' wow ' form
" wow!!! This is the first time I'm hearing my middle name from your lips " he said as i smiled shyly
" it's beautiful tiana " he replied giving me a light kiss on my cheeks as I blushed so badly choking on my breath nervously
" let's go see jack " I replied standing up to move away from him
" really?! you're not going to get scared? "He asked quite surprised as I nodded
" yeah " I replied and on an impulse added " I trust you " I said turning to meet his face brush mine.
We were standing so close to each other hearing our heartbeats thumping so loudly as chris took my hands in his placing a kiss lightly on it as he muttered
" thanks for trusting me tiana " he said whispering in a manner only me could hear.he was acting all sweet and I really loved this side of him

" are you okay jack? " a calm voice called out in the dark as jack cooed lightly in recognition of the voice. Chris came closer to Jack stooping down to stroke jack who wagged his tail in excitement. I stood back watching Chris talk to jack
" man! That was quite an exercise back then...but really thanks, I had the best race of my life..." Chris said still stroking jack
" j, running with shuga made this night exciting you know " he said pausing for a second, then resuming again " she's just so beautiful I mean every danm thing about her is...maybe I'm lucky to have known her, I'm just so fucking ecstatic to have met her..we didn't start off well on a good note but man! The little we time we shared are all moments I don't wish to end...she's tacky, smart, caring, beautiful and mischevious." He said with a smirk as I let a small chuckle out
" I'm right here you know " I said as he turned his attention to me gesturing me to come closer. I gently made my way to him and jack, squatting down as I stroke jack's body gently
" someone's gonna miss me " I sang playfully as chris laughed
" says the girl who is always trying to hide her feelings " he said and I grin
" just admit it toby " I say as he gives me a peck on my cheeks making my cheeks burn with excitement.
"I admit " he says allowing his eyes dance around me
I quickly stand up in shyness not before playfully smacking his arms and giggling to myself as I walk away shyly.
I still didn't know where I was headed and kinda heard chris giving jack one last pat on the back before running up to catch up with me who still walked remotely in shyness...I wasn't used to this kind of feelings

Just that the first time of mine was probably not going to last forever. A tear tickled down my face as I quickly wipped it of , there needed to be a way for chris not to go. At least he should spend an extra year with us at Melviks. Just why shouldn't it work??

Yes...I needed to get all stuffy stuffs from my head and here wasn't going to be a bad idea. Besides no one here would know me or even think I'm just 17 after all I was trying to live the fun for tonight and i shouldn't think of anything else. I heaved taking slow steps inside when a lady od about 20 years called
" excuse me young lady. But you haven't showed me your tickets " she said and my expression changed as I rolled my eyes inwardly
" I don't have any " I muttered going over to her when someone dropped two tickets in front of her
" Tiana davids and Chris Nolan " he said as i turned to him to which he grinned mouthing
" you're welcome shuga " as he blew me a kiss making me chuckle and soon we were in the building with millions of coloured lights.there were a lot of people whining and dancing to Mr Eazi ft simi's song " Donyin "

Chris and i were already dancing to the song while i swayed my hips allowing myself to be lost in the music then we took videos together snapping countless pictures and stuffs until simi had announced that she was going to gift anyone who sings any of her songs correctly both the one she was being featured in or someone featured her.
Simi has always been my music idol ever since my napkins and diapers days...infact I loved her and falz and wasn't all suprised when she didn't end marrying falz. Somethings never happen.
Sherry groove was one of the biggest night clubs in p.Harcourt and today a lot of music celebrities were to be here. Simi, mr.Eazi, fireboy, chidinma, falz,and a whole lot of upcoming artists which made the place more fun.I suddenly wanted to sing one of my favorite from simi and falz records
I glanced up to chris urging him to come along
" what?! Tiana you can't be serious about going up on stage " he exclaimed as I raised an eyebrow at him
" what?! Don't tell me you're scared " I ask trying to use his words back at him as he rubbed his temples gently

" no one is used to anything you are trying for the first time okay "

" I heard you sing at the karaoke.. "I whine I really didn't want to lose this chance
"C'mon toby!!! I mean this is going to be all part of tonight you know ?" I ask as he huff
" fine shuga, anything for you " he says as I squeal happily.now I can't wait to get on stage and gift my favorite artist too.... Who else can't wait to watch Chris and I perform? My patience definitely Lol
