Chapter 7: Chapter 7

Chapter 7

Sansa's Pov

It took me two hours to meet them when they were all congratulating me on my wedding which never happened. Everyone still referred to me as Alpha's bride.

They appeared to be nice people, but I got a strange vibe from a few of them. Maybe I was too new to judge anyone, but I believed that gut instincts are always correct.

I was alone in the room, wondering what game my fate was playing with me. Everything in the room was luxurious and rich, and I was both amazed and envious that I had never had such a place.

The floors had jagged patterns of colored tiles on them. Flowers were strewn throughout the room. opulent chandeliers. As I sat on the end of the king-size bed, it was very comfortable.

Fresh air and moonlight were streaming through a slit in the sagging window curtains.

My feet felt better after I took off my high heels. I was tired and wanted to sleep in a comfortable bed, but the stress I was experiencing couldn't allow me to close my eyes to the strange place.

After knocking on the door, Xavier and Amara entered the room. I rose to my feet, which were in pain.

"You must be hungry, and Xavier said you are too shy, so I thought you would be comfortable here," explained Amara.

"Thank you," I muttered.

She placed the food on the table.

"You like the decoration? Xavier changed colors and Put the flowers around, he said you like them," nicely Amara said.

How did he know? He put the exact Jasmine flowers I liked, or it could have been a coincidence, I reasoned before Amara revealed.

I chuckled, but my mind was racing to find unheard answers; I had never met Xavier; how did he become my husband, and how did he know my favorite Jasmine flowers?

"I hope you both have a lovely, goodnight," she said with a smile as she exited the room, leaving both of us alone.

My heart was racing; I didn't want to be alone with him; he was a man I never wanted to trust.

"Did you have a good time at the party?" he inquired.

I kept quiet, and that was enough for me; I was preparing to find a weapon if he hurt me. He removed his coat and tossed it on the bed. He was untying his tie and undoing his few neck and sleeve buttons. The sleeves are rolled up.

"You will be familiar with all of them," he said while closing the balcony.

My eyes were searching for any weapon that could save me when he was approaching me. I cleaned my throat and took a few steps back.

"Do you like our room?" in a husky tone, he inquired.

What is he thinking? How should I save myself? as he dragged me here against my will, and would he do it again?

I smashed into the wall, but he kept coming. I wanted to scream; I took the lamp from the side table of the bed and warned him.

"I won't sit back if you do what you're thinking," I said.

"What on earth am I thinking?" In a husky tone, he inquired.

He moved in closer to me. His presence was making me weak and nervous. My legs were shivering, could not breathe properly.

"Stay away from me," with my trembling voice, I warned him.

"What are you going to do?" he inquired.

When he stared into my eyes and smacked his hand on the wall next to my neck, I jumped in fear and dropped the lamp on the ground. He moved in closer to my face.

"You can't even fight back, so stop shooting arrows in the air if you don't know who your target is."

I clutched my fist tightly, wanting to beat him, but I knew my next move would be controversial, putting me in even more trouble. That thought held me back from committing something out of the limit. That made me feel even more insecure when He got closer to my ear, feeling his warm breath.

"Scream if you want. Everyone here is blind," he said quietly.

What did he mean by that?

I was perplexed; why had he said such a thing? Why wasn't he able to clear anything? Why I was the only one who looked stupid since meeting him?

Xavier leaned back, a grin on his face. "If you don't resist, you'll be safe."

He walked away and sat on the bed, facing me, a satisfied expression on his face.

I inquired, "Why? Why did you bring me here?"

"Because you belong here," he answered.

"When do you intend to tell me the whole truth that you are hiding, or are you waiting for me to beg you to tell me?"

"Are you willing to beg?" he inquired when his gaze was fixed on me.

"Are you making fun of me? I don't understand you,"

"Do you like me?" he inquired.

"Excuse me!"

"You just said you don't understand me, which shows you're curious about me. If you are that means--"

"Stop right there, You're complicated," I snarled.

I had crossed the line. I knew, but he was calm and smiling at me as if he didn't care about what I had gone through. He was teasing me and enjoying every emotion I felt, and I was doing my best to hide and not give him anything to enjoy.

"You are beautiful," slowly said Xavier.

I could not read minds, but seeing him look at me like that told me that something was going on in his mind, and it wasn't good.

His stare and body language made me nervous, not because he was the model-looking man that every girl could wish for, the smell of his perfume that anyone could become addicted to, his deep ocean eyes that every woman could be lost in happy, his sharp jawline, and appealing personality, but because I was curious about his next move.

I said, "Please let me go, and inform everyone that we are not married."

"Which one is it? Which of the two options do you want me to take?"

"Please let me go,"

There was a glimmer of hope, followed by a flash of persuasion.

"What I will tell them about my missing wife?"

"Then inform them we are not married and let me go,"

He laughed, thinking he might let me go or that my request might change his mind, but he wasn't even thinking about it.

"I don't lie, but today I lied for you," solemnly Xavier said.

He again walked towards me. I was not even moving, stood like a statue.

I said when looking into his eyes with hate. "Why? Tell the truth."

"No, I will tell no one," he said calmly.

I said angrily, "Then I'd tell them all."

I walked, but after 2 steps I felt he put his shoe on my dress to hold me back. I came to a halt and held my breath. My heart raced again, and my hands and forehead became sweaty. My dry mouth made it difficult to say anything.

I pushed myself forward, but I could hear my dress ripping a little. I was too scared to face the animal that was ripping my beautiful dress from the back, I and Logan choose that wedding dress. This was the last thing I had, but I never expected the dress to be so ripped.

I begged when I couldn't think of anything to say, "Please."

I took another step forward and heard a ripped dress once more; that was enough for me.

I yelled angrily, "Enough is enough. Leave my dress or I'll kill you."

When I turned around, I saw he was only standing and that my dress had become stuck in the chair by accident. It was a very embarrassing moment for me. I wish I hadn't turned back.

He got his shot, and the grin on his face was about to tease me with silence rather than words.

"Why should a wedding gown be treated roughly? Every wedding gown should be treated with respect."

He put the lamp on the side table of the bed.

"You will be the one in trouble after telling them all about our marriage, we don't accept outsiders, take your time."

He got down on his knees to untangle my wedding gown from the chair.

"Change before going to bed; there are dresses in the wardrobe for you."

He walked over to open the balcony door. facing me. "Don't waste the meal, Goodnight."

He jumped down as if about to dive into the water. With my wide-open eyes, I rushed over to the balcony to watch him from the 2nd floor of the mansion, but he vanished.
