Chapter 51: Chapter 51

Chapter 51

Sansa's Pov

Love!

Love is a beautiful disaster, a war. But you still want to go through it. That gives you feelings you've never experienced before. Unpredictable.

Hate!

Hate is a fire.

Hate can slowly burn you. It has the potential to crush your soul and kill you at some point.

Trouble!

Another word for peace-breaking

A single decision can lead to disaster! That does not imply that it is correct or incorrect.

You never know when or how you will fall into the trap. What matters is not how you got trapped, but how you will get out. That was something my father used to say.

I didn't understand most of his deep conversations at the time, but time and experience taught me. I was confronted with issues at a young age.

"That was a mess," Amara's voice said as she stood next to me in the garden outside the mansion, interpreting my thoughts and drawing my attention to her.

When our minds were full of different thoughts, birds were singing unconcernedly, and the breeze was dancing, as usual, playing with our skin. The sun was about to set, and I witnessed a beautiful golden hour.

"She must be in shock; I wonder how she feels whenever she watches him," I said with disappointment.

"This world has devolved into a massive disaster."

We were both looking over the dungeon, where Ray was locked inside and Edward stood outside. was keeping an eye out for anyone he shouldn't let in.

Many questions about the trial were running through our heads. I never imagined hearing the most shocking truths. We all witnessed the hidden secrets.

"This has never happened before. The pronouncement of wonder had been working fine regardless, but that was unacceptable, "Amara yelled angrily.

"Some rules are detrimental to both parties," I explained.

"How could he? to his wife! I'm curious how much he despised that little girl," Amara yelled angrily.

Why did Vera tell me she didn't know who the culprit was when she did? Was she putting me to the test if I stood up for Hina and found the culprit, or was she just messing with me?

I needed answers, and I was certain that the person who pointed the finger at Ray was Vera, not Hina. I wanted to meet Vera before the trial, but she did not appear in the end trial, so how did she enter Hina's body?

The day passed, and I went inside my room, where I couldn't find Hina, and I walked over to the balcony. Hina walked over to the dungeon while passing through the garden out of sight of everyone.

I went downstairs to follow her because I had a lot of questions for her. When I was following Hina to the dungeon, the entire pack was engaged in a discussion.

Hina paused to observe Edward, who was already standing outside the dungeon. For a brief moment, both were staring at each other.

I was surprised that Edward did not stop her as he walked away silently. To avoid any trouble, Edward walked away from her as she entered the dungeon. I was curious as to why he did this.

Footsteps!

In the silence, all I could hear were Hina's footsteps ahead of me and my breathing.

Her footsteps were gone in a flash. I was suffocating in the darkness, and the humidity began to affect my body.

"I apologize." In the dark, where I couldn't see my own shadow, I followed Ray's soft voice.

Hina's sobbing voice became more audible as I moved forward. I held my breath and moved forward silently without making a sound.

"Why? What made you do that?" Hina was in tears.

The dust was thick in the old, filthy dungeon. My nose was clogged by dust. I was trying hard not to sneeze because I didn't want them to know I was there.

Ray was visible in the dim light of the lantern next to his prison, which was hung on the wall. Hina was crying as she looked at him.

"It's for you," Ray said softly.

"You should not have done that," Hina said, her voice shaking.

Ray told Hina, "I don't want to see you in trouble."

There was a magical moment when a suspicious Ray with mysterious eyes, that Ray in the dungeon was different and had a soft face, and his eyes were watching her with love. I saw a spark in their eyes for each other.

"Tell them the truth," Hina instructed.

"No, the truth must not be revealed," Ray said, concerned.

"I can't give you up," Hina explained.

"Allow me to protect you," Ray said.

"I don't need protection when you're in trouble; I'm worried about you," Hina explained.

"There is no other way, and I am fine with anything that will keep you safe," Ray explained.

"But I'm not, and I can't leave you like that," Hina explained.

"That is our destiny; do not resist," Ray said.

"I will kill him," Hina said.

"I can only do that to save you from him," Ray explained.

"Would you abandon me? What if he hurts me after you?" Hina inquired, her eyes welling up with tears.

Helpless Ray was left speechless.

"You can't sacrifice yourself, and I'm going to tell everyone the truth," Hina said.

"No, please, it would be worse," Ray replied.

"I don't care; I can't sacrifice you for me; I am your responsibility; you must look after me," Hina said.

"I'm looking after you, Vera, even if you're digging my grave," Ray said softly.

Vera? Was he addressing Vera? How did he become aware of Vera? How long will this last? Ray's bride, so why was he shielding Vera when she was the one who pointed her finger at him?

Vera's evil laugh made me shiver, and my body numbed with fear.

She was the most dangerous, but also the most intelligent. Hina's body was taken over by Vera.

"How long have you known?" Vera inquired in a sweet voice.

Ray was staring her in the eyes. She approached his cell.

"That's clever, but I may disappoint you," Vera admitted.

"What brought you here?" Ray inquired.

"I thought you might want to see Hina; after all, she is your bride," Vera teased.

"I'm going to warn you——" Ray was saying something, but she cut him off.

"Hina wanted to see you; she begged me to protect you, but I refused; what should I do with you?" Vera stated

"I did what you wanted; I did not reveal your identity; I accepted what I did not do; and I agreed to sacrifice myself; isn't that enough? You have no right to ruin Hina's life," Ray said, enraged.

"I see you love her; you've begun to sacrifice yourself in love; how long will you do that for her? You'll be exhausted soon," Vera stated.

"I'm warning you to avoid Hina," Ray said.

"Is it that scary to be with two women when you want to spend time alone with your bride? You wouldn't be able to tell which one is your wife." Vera was giggling.

"I know my bride better than you; the poison in your eyes I recognize," Ray said.

"That's why I pointed at you; I don't like you," Vera explained.

"You want to control Hina; that's why you are trying everything to control her, but trust me, Hina is powerful, stronger than you think," Ray said.

"One day you'll forget her, she'll lose herself, she'll die, and I'll be the true owner of this entire body," Vera predicted.

"One day, you will lose everything, including this body; you will be unhappy, and Hina will remain," Ray predicted.

"Hina, talk to me; I want to meet you," Ray said, looking upset.

"She doesn't want to see you," Vera explained.

Ray remained silent and despondent.

"No matter what you say or do, remember you claimed her against her will, and even if you own her, she will not love you back," Vera teased him.

I took two steps back into the dark to get out of her way. Vera stepped back to leave. She was close by and walking away, completely unaware of my presence.

I wanted to make it clear that the real culprit was not Ray, but someone else he knew. I took a few steps closer to Ray's cell. Ray had not yet turned to face me. Someone yanked my right hand away from me. away from Ray's line of sight.
