Chapter 20: Chapter 20
It was close to ten in the evening when Diego left. I was glad he did and not asked to sleep the night. I knew I couldn’t allow him to. I wasn’t ready to wake up to someone, hell I wasn’t ready for the events of this weekend. I didn’t know when we would begin our BDSM business since we hadn’t finished going over the rest of the details. I hadn’t finished doing my laundry so I would eventually have to sort out clothing that I would normally wear to school. I usually went with slacks and a polo shirt and tennis but Diego had somehow distracted me from doing laundry so I decided on something I usually don’t wear. I took out tab-waist solid trousers which made me look curvy, along with a shell pleated neckline top, and to top it off a buckled zigzag cardigan. The only problem was the shoes I hadn’t bought some in a long time. I only wore tennis to school so I remembered I had purchased some nice color block peep toe heels from a department store and decided to wear those with my ensemble. I didn’t know what my friends would think of it, but at this point, I didn’t care. I was all set for tomorrow, hoping the weekend’s events would go unnoticed with my friends. I hoped they had good news to share about the guys we met at the baile (dance).
I thought I would feel tired with all the events of the weekend but found myself more awoken than anything else. I woke up early and decided to try out my outfit. I looked more professional and kind of hot. I decided to fix my hair and not placed it in my usual boring ponytail. I decided to wear part of my hair up and the rest falling cascading down to my shoulders. As I brushed my hair, I remembered how Diego had said that he enjoyed the feel and look of my hair while it was down. I smiled at myself. I took one last look in the mirror and liked the way I looked. I decided that from now on I would wear nicer clothing to work.
I had forgotten how it felt to be looked at. I had my bag on my shoulder as I locked up and headed down the stairs. My next-door neighbor Fred was also departing for work. He was a lawyer from some local firm. I never bothered to ask him, since he acted like one of those sons of bitches that think they are too cool and hot for anyone else. So, when he said good morning to me. I wasn’t sure he was talking to me. I looked to my left and then my right to see who he was talking to. I hadn’t even thought it was me. He walked up to me and said once again. “Hello, it’s Fiorella right,” he said. “Yes…It’s Fred, correct.” I asked. He smiled at me. He was taller than me, hell everyone was taller than me. I had stopped on the first step when he asked if he could walk down with me. I shrugged. “I guess”. I didn’t have it in me to start a conversation it was early morning and I had yet to stop by the Stripes store to get my coffee. “I guess I hadn’t been a good neighbor lately, I should have stopped by and formally introduce myself and gotten to get to know you.” He said looking at me. I looked at him and placed the best smile I could in the morning. “I guess it’s hard when we keep busy schedules,” I said. “Yeah, but I am up for some break, one of my cases has been settled out of court so I was given two days off starting tomorrow. Maybe we…” I didn’t allow him to finish. “I guess we’ll see. I don’t have a two-day break, I have to get to work before my students start celebrating. “ Oh, That’s right you said last time we spoke you worked in a school.” He said. “Yes,” I said. At that moment I felt a strong connection building up in me and I automatically knew that it was Diego. I looked out towards the parking lot and immediately saw him. He was loading up the van. Erick was assisting him and by the look on his face, he wasn’t happy about something. I looked at him and he looked back at me. I quickly looked away. “Well, Fred I guess we’ll see each other again some time,” I said as I descended the stairs. Fred hadn’t bothered to look where I looked and my guess is he didn’t care about who was watching us. He walked alongside me. When we reached the parking spot, I saw his BMW Mercedes parked beside my RAM truck. As I looked at them standing side by side mine seemed more powerful and I got a kick out of it. I smiled as I thought about it. “I wish I knew what you were smiling about, you look beautiful,” Fred said to me. I looked at him. He didn’t know me well enough to tell me I was beautiful, but what could I say but only to thank him for the remark. “Thank you…Well, I guess I’ll see you around and went directly to the driver’s side of my truck. I saw that he walked towards his car as well. I sat there for a while. I didn’t even bother to see Diego. I turned on my radio and headed out of the parking lot right behind Fred’s BMW and when I looked in the review mirror. I saw Diego and Erick climbing up their van. I knew being away from Diego was going to be hard because just knowing that he was that close to me I wanted him.
I had barely started putting up the lesson on the board when I heard nails tapping on the top of a desk. I turned around to find Melba sitting on one of the student’s desks. “We only have ten minutes before we need to pick up the students from the gym,” I said to her. “I don’t care, Fio you are going to spill over if it has to.” I sighed. “Okay, what do you want to hear?” I asked. “Everything,” she said. “Define everything?” I asked. “Fio I know you are stalling girlfriend, please do tell.” She said. I looked at my friend. I knew she cared about me as much as I cared about her. She was my only friend that knew everything about me. Looking at her I knew I owed her that much. “Okay, well for starters we had sex, okay,” I said not looking at her. Melba stood up and walked to the door and closed it and turned around. “That much I knew, the way you were with him at the dance that was evident and I already knew since you didn’t get home till ten in the morning.” She said to me. “I want to know well, how was he.” She said. I looked up at my friend and decided to sit down. I took the chair of one of my students and she took another. “Okay, here goes.” I prolonged it not knowing how to say it. I could see she was getting antsy and before she could say anything. I started to speak. “He was…well…something I haven’t had before,” I said to her. I saw that questioned look on her face. “What something else?” She asked. “Okay, Melba he was great, awesome, terrific, well endowed, and extremely experienced in the sex part,” I told her. “And you are holding back something.” She said. “Okay, he gave me an extreme amount of orgasms to boot,” I said to her. “Did he now?” she said with that questioning look. “Are you going to see him again?” I looked at her and gave her my best smile ever. “Yes, I am going to see him again,” I said to her and before she could ask any further. I added. “Until he leaves.” “Oh, I see…maybe he would want to stay or possibly take you with him.” She added. I looked at her as I got up and grabbed my coffee and started to walk to the door, Melba followed suit. “I doubt that Melba,” I told her. “You never know Fio, Oh and by the way, you look great. I have never seen you dressed like this before.” “I didn’t do laundry,” I told her as we both left to get our classes.
Questions about the weekend’s event were unavoidable and the reason I was dressed the way I was. By the end of the day, I had already told Zulema and Patty the same thing. Sara was not talking to me yet so I didn’t care much about it, although I didn’t tell them about the BDSM arrangement between Diego and myself I had wished to keep it to myself. The interrogation of the weekend’s event came up again during our planning. I was great full that it was at the end of the day. “Tell us more about him, like how old is he?” Patty asked. Shit, I hadn’t even bothered to ask that question. I knew he was older than me but by how much. He didn’t look past thirty so I really couldn’t tell them. “I don’t know how old he is?” I told them. “Okay, you had sex with this guy and you don’t know how old he is?” Zulema added. “Woo there! I did have sex but I don’t recall talking while having multiple orgasms.” I added and everyone began to laugh. “I guess you don’t talk when you’re having sex, but common Fio you spent the whole weekend with him, sheesh you talked about something.” Patty added. “Yes, but we weren’t exchanging ages or anything like that, but I will ask him when I see him.” I added. “So you are seeing him again?” Zulema asked. I looked at her then at Melba. Melba arched her eyebrow at me. “Yes, I am.” Acknowledging her question. “What about that guy at the dance, you know Roger? He asked for your number. Did he get in touch with you?” Sara asked as she walked into the room. I didn’t know she was near the door as we were talking. I knew then she had been listening to our conversation. I looked at her for a moment and wanted to see if I felt any kind of resentment but she seemed cool about it. “I did get a call from him.” I said to her and the others. “So, are you going to see him too,” she asked. “I don’t know anymore.. would it be too weird to see two men at a time?” asking all of them. “Why not? It’s not like you’ve committed to anything with Diego?” Patty added. Thinking it over Diego and I had committed to an arrangement but nothing about seeing other people hadn’t come up, thinking about it I guess it would be okay. “Yeah! I guess I could see both men.” “And exactly how did Roger get my number, the last time I saw him he was throwing something at my truck and I was telling him off.” I stated to the group. Everyone looked at me. “We had no idea that had happened.” Melba said. “Yeah, well he got pissed because I left with Diego. The only reason I did it was to avoid any problems. I didn’t want the men to get into trouble.” I said to them. “Roger was inside the dance and he found me, he asked me to give him your number. I figured it was okay.” Sara put in. “Yeah, he wanted to know if he could see me again.” I hadn’t given him any specifics yet.” I told her. Our conversation was interrupted with the students coming back from P.E. so we ended it there. I was perplexed into thinking whether it was okay to see Roger again. I didn’t want anyone hurt and especially myself. Unfortunately, that was not so easy to say. I was walking out and talking to Melba as we reached my truck when my phone began to ring. I loved dancing to my ringtone and did as I walked to my truck but on my last ring. I answered it without looking at the caller. “Hello,” I said. “Hey, there” a male voice sounded from the end of the receiver. I stopped in track. “Yes?” I said questioning. “Fio it’s Roger.” “Oh, hi Roger,” I said looking at Melba. We both stopped walking. “Hey, I wanted to know if I could take you out to dinner this Friday. If you like a movie or something else is fine with me.” He asked me. “I..don’t know if I have anything planned that day,” Melba was looking at me and nodding a yes to me. I nodded a no. “I guess it would be okay. I would love to go out to dinner with you.” I didn’t know about any good movies playing and was not looking forward to sitting too close to Roger. I wanted to avoid having any more connections with men for a while. “So, I should pick you up at 8 then. Where do you live Fio?” He asked. I hadn’t thought that far, Diego hadn’t said anything about seeing anybody else but I hadn’t remembered that he lived near me. “Is there a chance we could meet somewhere instead?” I asked him. “I would prefer to pick you up if that’s okay. I was kind of brought up that way. You know where a man picks up the woman.” He said laughing. “I guess that will be okay. I can text you my address if you like.” That will be fine Fio, I would be waiting for your text, and oh! Say hello to your friends for me Fio.” “Sure thing Roger I will.” But before our conversation ended he added. “I can’t wait to see you Fio. Goodbye.”
