When Martin looked at his grandfather's reaction, he wondered why Morgan was afraid of the Tomlinson family.

"How can the Tomlinson family be with Edwiin?!" Morgan said as he gritted his teeth.

"Morgan, I think I forgot to tell you that I'm already married with the youngest daughter of the Tomlinson family," Edwiin proudly said.

"The you married the youngest daughter of the Tomlinson family?" Morgan said, dumbfounded. "I can finally understand why the Birrell family set up a bureau just to deal with the Tommy family."

Morgan sighed and added, "The Birrell family relied on the Tomlinson family during this whole endeavor."

"You got that right, Morgan," Edwiin laughed. "You really should worry about yourself now, though."

At that moment, Martin was in a daze because all he knew that the most powerful families in JD City were only four major ones. His grandfather was the richest man in the entire southwest region, which was why he didn't know where the Tomlinson family emerged from.

All of a sudden, Todd, who was the general manager of the Gold Group, hurriedly went out of the building and said, "Mr. James, the situation isn't good at all. The managers of various branches called and the branches under the Gold Group were seized by a sudden industrial and commercial attack."

"What? How could that happen?!" Martin exclaimed as his face went pale. Nothing that happened was logical to him at all and he didn't know what he could do as the chairman.

Morgan, on the other hand, quickly took out his phone and called a friend in charge of the industry and commerce in the province.

"Alec, what's the matter with you? Why did you suddenly act up?" Morgan immediately asked.

"Morgan, I'm just done with this! I don't even know what's happening!" Alec Mason, Morgan's friend shouted.

Soon after, Morgan heard a voice on the phone and that someone asked Alec to go for an investigation. Because of that, Alec hung up.

At that time, Cathy also hurried out of the building and said, "Mr. Gracie, Mr. James, the company's account suddenly froze!"

"W-What?" Martin said. He couldn't figure out what was going on and was utterly confused as to why all of that suddenly happened.

"Darwin's still in the hospital, but with our current situation, I can only call him," Morgan said as he pursed his lips. Darwin was still at the intensive care unit at that time, but he didn't want Darwin to be their last resort. However, he didn't have a choice anymore.

With that, Morgan called Darwin almost immediately.

"Darwin, the branches under the Gold Group all got suddenly blocked and the accounts froze. Even Alec was suddenly taken away for investigation and I don't know how that all happened!" Morgan said anxiously.

"Morgan, my network had been hit hard today and I have no idea what to do either," Darwin said. "Many of my people have been taken away for investigation as well and as far as I know, this is related to the Tomlinson family!"

"If I didn't have a heart attack, I would have achieved something by now," Darwin added.

After Morgan heard that, he staggered and almost fainted. However, Martin hurriedly stepped forward so he could assist his grandfather.

"I'm sorry I can't do anything else, Morgan," Darwin continued helplessly. "I can't even get out of the hospital bed right now and I can only do my best to protect you and Martin."

If it were thirty years ago, Darwin thought that he might still be able to think of something to help Morgan with his situation, but now that he was in the hospital, he was utterly helpless.

"You have to stay with us Darwin," Morgan said. Soon after, he hung up the call.

"How are things going with Mr. Darwin?" Martin quickly asked.

"Darwin's network has been completely paralyzed and everything's over!" Morgan said as he looked up at the sky and sighed.

"Grandpa, where did the Tomlinson family even come from?" Martin said as he gritted his teeth.

"The Tomlinson family is a hermit in CAMEL. Most people don't know that a family like theirs exists, but they're the most terrifying ones because they have a strong heritage."

At that time, more than a dozen police cars drove in while their leader said, "Go in and seal up the Gold Group! All information and executives have to be sealed and taken away for investigation!"

"Yes sir!" All the other men said in unison as they rushed towards the Gold Building.

The leader walked in front of Morgan and said, "Mr. Gracie, we have an arrest warrant, so please go back with us for investigation."

Immediately afterward, the leader waved his hand and two people behind him rushed up then handcuffed Morgan.

"The same goes for general manager Todd and Executive president Cathy! You also need to go back with us for investigation!"

With that, the rest of the men strode towards where Todd and Cathy were and handcuffed them as well.

"Stop!" Martin shouted. "Why do you need to do this?!"

At that moment, Martin frantically tried to catch his grandfather, but he was stopped by men in police uniforms.

"You're Martin James, right?" The leader said. "If you hinder us in this case, we have no choice but to arrest you!"

It was then that Martin hit the leader with his fist. However, he missed and Morgan immediately saw that, so he said, "Don't be impulsive, Martin! You have to be calm!"

"Dylan, take care of Martin!" Morgan added.

Dylan simply nodded and soon stepped forward so he could hold down Martin. "You have to calm down, Martin. Nothing's going to happen if you get impulsive!"

"Listen to your grandfather, Mr. James! We're going to be fine!" Cathy said.

"Martin, you need to listen to me. Buy a ticket and fly abroad because you can't stay here anymore!" Morgan shouted.

After he said that, he was taken directly into the car. Those were Morgan's last words to Martin before they took off and all the other employees were taken as well.

"Martin, I just said that I came to see you, but do you understand what I meant now?" Edwiin laughed.

"Shut up, you bastard!" Martin shouted as he clenched his fists tightly.

"As the vice-chairman of the Gold Group, do you know why you weren't arrested?" Edwiin said. "I specifically ordered them not to. Isn't that great?"

"Although I guess it's more like I wanted to see you give in to despair," He added.

"I'm going to fucking kill you, Edwiin!" Martin said as he took the gun from his pocket and aimed it at Edwiin.

"You can't do that, Martin!" Dylan said as he grabbed Martin's hand as well as the pistol. "I know you're mad, but if you shoot Edwiin now, you're going to die!"

"As long as you're still here, you still have a chance. Believe in me!" Dylan added.

Edwiin simply let out a smirk. "Martin, you can enjoy the feeling of falling into the depths of hell now. Let's just see how long you'll live."

With that, he turned around and left.
