Chapter 307: Chapter 307

Chapter 307 Elmer's Expulsion

At that moment, everyone was shocked about the fact that Martin had such an identity. Because of that, they looked at him in disbelief.

The thin student, on the other hand, pondered why the person who pushed a sanitation truck with him had such a terrifying identity.

Because of what happened, the man with the earrings panicked because he knew that he provoked such an important person.

"M-Mister, I know I was wrong, so please forgive me!" The man said as she stepped forward and bowed in front of Martin.

However, Martin ignored the man and glanced at the principal. "I think people like him are likely to take down the school's reputation, which is why they should be expelled. What do you think?"

"You're right, Mr. James," Cedrick said as he nodded quickly.

With that, he took a glance at the man with the earrings and his comrades behind him. "From now on, all of you will be expelled from the university and will no longer be admitted!"

At that moment, the men looked down as their expressions were filled with despair since they knew that their education was finished because they only had a high school diploma.

"Please take those people away and guide them through the procedures," The principal said as he looked at the chief of the security department.

With that, they responded quickly then took the man and his comrades away.

"Mr. Cedrick, this is my friend," Martin said as he pointed at the thin student. "Please take care of him."

"No problem," Cedrick said as he looked at the thin student. "Which class are you in? What's your name?"

"M-My name is Jake Adams, a senior student in the Department of Architecture," Jake said, a little flattered.

"Alright," Cedrick said. "If you have any trouble or if you need my help, please don't hesitate to come to me."

"Thank you so much, Principal Cedrick," Jake said as he smiled.

The onlookers, on the other hand, were envious of Jake because it was a great blessing to be able to receive the attention of the principal.

After everything was settled, Martin asked the principal to go back while Jake turned to look at Martin.

"Thank you so much, Mr. James," Jake immediately said.

"That's just a trivial matter," Martin said. "Also, you can just call me Martin. I only helped you because I think you're a nice guy, but can I ask why that man beat you up?"

"At the school sports meeting a few days ago, I beat him in the track and field event which made him mad, so he retaliated against me," Jake explained.

"Really? I can't believe that man," Martin said as he shook his head. "Since I heard you're a senior in the Department of Architecture, are you interested in working at the Gold Group?"

Martin felt that Jake was a good person, which was why he wanted to recruit Jake and give him a life-changing opportunity.

"Of course!" Jake enthusiastically said.

Since the Gold Group's main business was a real estate business, the students of the Department of Architecture would naturally want to work at the most prestigious company.

"Alright, I'll leave my number with you, so you can call me after graduation and I'll help you arrange some things," Martin said.

With that, he left his number with Jake.

At that moment, he also received a call from Cathy, who was a talented woman from the company.

"Martin, I think I saw Elmer come up with something. He often manipulated the accounts to evade taxes and put the rest of the money in his pocket," Cathy said.

"I see," Martin said as he pursed his lips. "I'll come back to the company right now."

After he hung up the call, a smile appeared at the corner of his mouth as he murmured, "You've been caught red-handed this time, Elmer."

Ever since Martin became the head of the office, Elmer had been his enemy ever since and because of that, he wanted Elmer to get caught.

When Martin arrived at the Gold Group and came to Cathy's office, Cathy smiled as she saw Martin walk in and said, "Martin, this is the evidence I compiled. The tax evasion that he did over the years is about seven hundred million, which is enough for him to go to prison for the rest of his life."

"Very good, Cathy," Martin nodded in satisfaction.

At that time, the office door had suddenly been pushed open as Elmer walked in.

"Mr. James, what are you looking for?" Elmer asked as he took a glance at Martin.

"I'm looking for you, Elmer," Martin said as he walked up to him.

"Why are you looking for me?" Elmer asked, bewildered.

"Ever since I came to you, you always wanted to drive me out of the company. Maybe you even wanted me to die?" Martin asked with a smile.

"What are you talking about?" Elmer said as he pursed his lips.

"It doesn't matter if you don't admit it, but I know that you were involved in the things that Elmer did," Martin retorted as he picked the evidence on the table and handed it to Elmer.

"Look at this," Martin calmly added.

When Elmer opened the file and saw the content inside, his expression changed because the evidence that Martin referred to was the embezzlement of his public funds.

"Elmer, as the chief financial officer, you used your position to make false accounts and evade taxes so you can put it in your pocket," Martin smirked. "You're very courageous. Do you know many years you'll be sentenced?"

"Martin, I'm Morgan's cousin! Do you think he doesn't know about this?!" Elmer gritted his teeth. "If he doesn't care, why do you care?!"

"Because I'm the vice-chairman of the Gold Group and I have the right," Martin said. "I don't care what grandpa has to say about this because I'm sure he'll do the same thing if he finds out."

"Martin, I'm your senior and your elder. How can you treat me like this?!" Elmer shouted.

"My elder, you say. You did every possible thing just so you can embarrass me. You even wanted to kick me out of the company," Martin sneered. "Why would I think of you as an elder at that time?"

"For the sake of your family and my grandpa, I won't report this case," He added. "But from now on, you'll be removed the position as Gold Group's financial director."

As soon as Elmer heard that Martin was about to fire him, he was infuriated. "Why did you dismiss me without getting Morgan's consent?! I'm from the Gracie family! Aren't you afraid that he'll blame you?"

"I'm going to say this one last time," Martin glared at him. "I'm doing this because I'm the vice-chairman of the Gold Group and I have the right. Do you understand?"

At that moment, Elmer couldn't help but glare at Martin as well because he knew that Martin was the vice chairman and indeed had the right to fire him as the chief financial officer. He thought that Martin wouldn't be able to fire him because he was from the Gracie family, but he was wrong.

"Money is only one of the issues," Martin sneered at him. "The money you stole has to be returned within ten days."

"How the heck is that possible?! I spent more than half of the money!" Elmer shouted.

"That's your problem," Martin said. "I only look forward to the results. If you can't do that within ten days, I'll report it and send you to jail."

"I-I'll go to Morgan to reason with him!" Elmer angrily said. For him, he could only ask Morgan for help now. However, he didn't know that Morgan accompanied Darwin to the hospital.

"My grandpa isn't in the company now, so I'm in charge. Do you understand that?" Martin sneered at him.

At that time, four security guards went inside the room because that was ordered by Martin in advance.

"I want all four of you to take Elmer out of the company. Also, don't allow him to set foot inside here ever again!" Martin ordered.

"Yes, Mr. James!"

After the four guards responded, they stepped forward so they could force Elmer out.

"Martin, you fucking bastard!" Elmer angrily roared.
