Adrian couldn't get her out of his head. It's been a long someone made him this lustful since the wild little one he concluded. Perhaps he'll meet her again.
" Audrey? Lucas called out to her feeling bad for waking her up late at night
She rubbed her eyes and yawned
" Is it morning already?
" Nope. Let's go home" he said as she stared at him shocked. He just told her not to wake Genevieve up while the sudden change of mind?
" Right now? She asked cos she wasn't ready to leave
" They're waiting for us outside. Here put on your heels" he said handing it to her. He looked at her disheveled hair and chuckled.
" I can't go out looking like this? Luke! " She whined as he helped her up
" There. Now let's go" he said giving her a hat. She grumbled and followed him out of the building.
To her surprise, there was a fleet of cars, not just two but a fleet. She quickly entered the car and they followed behind while some were at the front.
" So much for dating a wealthy guy" she murmured sleeping in his lap making him chuckle
Bobby dropped her at work as usual. She entered the hotel and a guy presented her with flowers, not just any flowers but 99 flowers. She knew it couldn't be David. He stopped showing up since he found out she was dating Lucas. She ignored it and went inside but the delivery man stood still.
At first, she thought he'll leave soon. She worked for about three hours but he didn't move. She walked to him telling him directly to leave but he said something weird
" I have orders not to leave till you accept the flowers," he said sternly like a robot
She shook her head and resumed work leaving the poor guy standing. She finished working and waited for Bobb to come. She stepped out leaving the delivery man there.
" I didn't know you were a worker in the maroon company" he giggles as she was shocked to see him
" Just an IT guy. Do you have a problem with that? She asked sarcastically
" Have I offended you in any way? Do you seem to hate me without a reason? He stated. She hates him with enough reason she sneered
" Maybe it's because you're a jerk," she said taking a step forward about to leave.
" Or maybe it's something more " hoping to have her investigated since she won't reveal her name
" Well, whatever you say. I'll appreciate it if you stop stalking me. I'm a taken woman. "
" But not married. Why don't you test his love for you then? Hotty" he remarked
" I'm not hotty. I have a name ." She yelled
" Which is?
" Lily. " She mentioned proudly of herself for being such a good liar
" Lily, that's a beautiful name for a beautiful lady. How about a date and I assure you. You won't have to work beside that cold arrogant boss of yours" he described Lucas just like she describes him. She could guess they're not friendly
" At least I still have my dignity. No thanks" she said abruptly without giving it a thought
" C'mon. I'll treat you well. Take you abroad. Buy your latest cars, houses, go shopping anytime and satisfy you anytime" he explained earning a dirty slap from her. Audrey was surprised at her behavior. He deserved it for taking her dignity years ago. It's a perfect opportunity to punish him for making her ashamed of herself. So she slapped him hard again.
" Now that's not nice," he said grabbing her hand angrily
" You shouldn't go around hitting people because they want to help you with your miserable life" he exclaimed slapping her back .her face twitched from the slap.
She released herself from his trip wiping the blood in the corner of her mouth.
" Keep your dirty eyes off me. You're a pervert" she caused spitting out blood.
" You bitch" he cursed seeing her staring dead at him as if telling him to bring it on
Adrian didn't know what was going on but he wanted to nap her but seeing her spitting out blood he felt guilty.
" I don't waste my saliva on nothing like you. Stay away from me or I'll issue a restricting order on you bastard" she cursed walking out on him.
Adrian sneered watching her leave. He loved the way she was swaying her hips. Gosh, he must have her.
Audrey entered the kitchen to get an ice pack to prevent Lucas from questioning. She wished she had a knife or perhaps she could steal Lucas's gun. Yes. That's what she's gonna do.
Bobby drove by shortly after honking for her to know he was around. she jumped up hoping it won't leave a blister. Thank God she wasn't fragile or else she would have lost a tooth.
They arrived home, unfortunately, Lucas was in the garden .she couldn't pretend he wasn't there so she went to greet him.
" Hello love" she pecked him wanting to leave
" Have a seat. You must be tired. Here try the brewed coffee" he offered to stare at her noticing the red blister
" What is that? He asked as she took a sip of the coffee in oblivion
" What's that? She asked in return still sipping sitting down
" This," he said standing a little to touch her face. Immediately she noticed his meaning the cup of coffee she was holding spilled on her thighs from nervousness. She flinched getting up
" I should change. " She hurriedly Left leaving a perturbed Lucas.
He was certain it was a mark of a hand. Who slapped her? Audrey isn't the kind of person who withheld from harassment. Did she fight again he wondered.
