Her face darkened on seeing him. She turned her back walked fast as her leg could carry her. She didn't want to stay anymore. She was about to leave when Genevieve stopped her.

" Where are you going?

'I have a headache. Pass the message to Luke. I'm in a hurry" she said hoping they won't have to fight before he lets her go

' you have to tell him yourself. You were fine a while ago" she said blocking the way

" Genevieve, get out of my way. I'm not a prisoner" she retorted agitated but she still refused. Audrey tried to be cunning but Genevieve wasn't going to let her stand Lucas up. She knew Lucas wasn't aware.

So Audrey did it the only way she can escape. Fight! Being a soldier Genevieve fought back roughly as if venting her anger out for the make-out earlier. Audrey groaned when she threw her down. She stood up and torn her sequin dress to her thighs making Gen surprised. She gave her a heavy kick which made her fall and Audrey took the opportunity to punch her as it alarmed the guards who went to get Lucas.

She noticed it and quickly left running as fast as she could before he arrives.

She took an Uber and drove to her house to meet Ava and Lola avoiding his fury.

Lucas came out and saw a bruised Genevieve.

" What happened?

" It's Audrey. She fights like a lioness. She almost crippled me" she groaned

" What happened Genevieve? He snapped wondering why they fought in the first place

" She came out with the notion of leaving. I told her to let you know but she insisted I tell you on her behalf saying she had a headache. I tried to stop her from leaving but she hit me I tried not to hurt her but she was adamant. So I used my first cos she wasn't ready to stop. " She explained panting.

" Why were you fighting her? You should have called me. No need for violence" he said in anger.

" She wouldn't let me. I thought I could hold her off. She attacked me" she explained but Lucas was more concerned with the fact that he hurt Audrey. What got into her head he wondered.

" You should go to the hospital. I'm not done here. Leave Audrey to me. Next time don't fight or challenge her. Call me instead. She injured you " he started walking inside.

She knew he would blame her. Her anger got the best of her. One thing was sure. He was going to deal with her.

Ava was surprised to see Audrey at her door in despair. Lola joined as they sat down looking at her haggard.

" What happened? You look like you saw a ghost" said Lola rubbing her hand gently

" I saw Mr. A today. " She announced

" What? They said in unison sitting closer to her.

" What did he say? Asked Lola

" Nothing. I ran away I didn't want Lucas to know. Not now not ever " she stated in anguish

" This is trouble. It's a good thing you ran away before he saw you. I'll dig into it okay? Calm down. It's not as serious as you think" consoled Ava hugging her.

" I don't want to lose Luke. He's precious to me" she lamented

" You won't. Calm down and go back to him. He must be pissed at you" said Ava amicably

" You're right. I'm not going home to him soon. He has anger issues. " She withdrew herself

" What did you do? Asked Lola

" I fought with his military friend. She was so annoying trying to stop me from leaving the party" she explained

" It suits her. Where's Vanessa?

" She's probably on a date with Bobby" she explained lost in thought.

She couldn't help but wonder if Lucas and Adrian were good friends. It could be possible since Jenny knows him. She has to go to Lucas to face his wrath once and for all but again he's short-tempered. He promised never to raise his hands on her but she did the impossible.

Genevieve probably hates her now she thought. Lucas will be furious she stood him up. What is she going to do? She asked herself as her phone rang. Speaking of the devil and he appears.

She looked at it for a while.

" Audrey, it's Lucas," said Ava who doesn't know how to help her unless they relocate which she refused.

" Hello my love* she whispered

" Come out and let's go home" he stated not a bit angry. She knew he was faking it. But she had no choice

" Where are you? She asked distorted

" Outside your house. I had a long night please come out" he said sternly

" Okay" she checked the time and it was two in the morning.

" Good night girls. Wish me luck" she pouts as they hugged her frustrated that they can't help her out.

Ava arranged her hair and walked her out feeling guilty.

She came out and saw his limo parked outside. She heaved and paced forward to face her judgment.
