The military founded Viola's brothel after days of finding but she wasn't around.

Lucas felt disgusted stepping his foot in a brothel. They found out it was an illegal brothel as many women protested on how they were bought and napped. None were there on their own accord.

They freed them all. The guards stopped fighting while they pointed to the stinky cell where disobedient girls and boys were kept.

The soldiers went ahead to release them including Vanessa who was very weak and wretched.

Lucas was furious that she wasn't around. He interrogated the boys and they told him she wasn't coming back for a whole year that she left just the other day.

He didn't lose hope as long as she was alive and breathing he'll find her.

Bobby saw how wounded Vanessa was. He took pity on her and decided to help her.

" Hey, are you okay? He asked helping her up.

" I need food and shelter," she said hoarsely. Bobby didn't know why but he wanted to help her.

He carried her to his car and left before Lucas notice his decision.

The brothel was brought down with explosives making Vanessa happy.

Audrey was attending a meeting on a fateful day as Lucas has been away for days now. She saw a fleet of cars driving after her. She cursed her stars for going alone. She affected and they followed a shortcut.

She kept driving as she drove to the hotel entering inside. The cars stopped following her. She sighed gladly she wasn't far from the hotel.

' aren't you attending the meeting anymore? Said Xander knocking on her car door

" You have to attend it," she said stepping out as she noticed a red light on her back from the mirror. Her reflexes kicked in as she pushed Xander down but the bullet hit a client who was about to come out.

He was shot in the chest. He was in shock as Audrey quickly compressed his wound. The red light came again but the security shot in the direction. They were sure the shooter died.

She tried her best to save him by doing CPR and before she knows it the ambulance came took him away.

She couldn't follow for the fear of being attacked again. The hotel was in chaos. Commotion and anarchy

Victor was the detective in charge. He took her to a safe place without cameras.

" What happened? I thought you were living with Mr. Hamilton"

" I don't know. They shot a client. The management is going to fire me"

" Calm down. Care to tell me why they want you dead?

" I don't know. What about federal protection? Did you get it?

" I am working on it. Stay with Mr hamilton for now. Don't go out. I'm almost done with unveiling them" he ordered

" Did you find the shooter?

" He's dead."

" I see. How do I clear the hotel's name? She asked nervously pacing

" Stay indoors. Stop working. If you are worried about your friends then I'll take care of it ." He urged as she nodded.

The police handled the case and left afterward Shortly before she received a call from her private investigator. She directed him to the hotel.

" Tell me, did you find her? She asked curiously

" I found this," he said handing her a death certificate of her mom

" Accept my condolences" he added as she stared at it trembling while holding it.

" My aunt?

" She relocated after your mother's death. No one knows where she lives. Some said she has become a multi-billionaire" he added

" Billionaire? When? How? " She asked confused

" I have no idea, Miss. I tried to look for more details but couldn't find none other than these"

" Thank you, detective," she said handing him a cheque. He appreciated her and left.

She glanced at the death certificate and broke out in tears despite her neglect she was still her mother and she treated her well when her dad was alive. She was a loving mother until she went into a coma.

Her only hope of having a family was gone. She's officially an orphan. Her parents must be disappointed in her. She stared at the papers all day smoking and drinking that Xander feared for her life and called Ava who came immediately.

" Audrey, what happened? Did he leave you already? She asked taking the bottle of booze from her.

" She's dead Ava. She finally left me. I'm all alone' she cried as Ava stared at the paper in her hand and gave her a warm hug

" Ssh. You have me. I'll be whatever you want me to be"

" She would have been alive if I found her quicker. Aunt ivy must have neglected her. She wouldn't have died if I wasn't sold " she lamented

" I wanted to be a doctor for her sake. I wanted to prove to her that I'm Worthy of her love and genes. Now she's dead ." She sobbed smoking and puffing out smoke

" Oh God Audrey please stop crying" she consolidated whimpering

" I'm just bad luck, Ava. Everyone thinks I'm not worth their love and time. I wish my dad was alive. He was the only one that truly loved me. Death took him from me and left me with a weak mother who didn't think I'm worth her time. why Ava? I just want to die. I'm tired of running. I want to join them. Death do you hear me? Come for me" she yelled gulping another drink.

Ava stayed with her, mourning her mom. She lit a candle and burned the death certificate sobbing. her eyes were swollen from crying so much and her voice croaked.

She drank all night. Lucas guards had to wait for her outside till Dawn.
