Chapter 105: Chapter 105

The physiotherapy section was commenced after a few days. Lola and Ava accompanied her most of the time when Luke is busy ignoring her rantings mostly.

The doctors deem it important before she's transferred to Ukraine. She has been trying her best to recover but it wasn't helping. She was going through with it because of her mom and Lucas's persuasion.

The physiotherapists were doing their job when she snapped at them

" It's not working. Stop stressing my muscles bastards " she cursed at them luckily Lucas was standing far away

" Miss, this is necessary. It's for your good"

" I said no. I'm tired. Leave me alone" she yanked his hands off.

" Miss, you have three more sections. You've to cooperate or we will have to repeat it"

"As I care," she said nonchalantly. Lucas stepped in.

" Everything okay? Is it over? He asked though he heard them

" Luke, I'm tired. " She complained

" I brought you some food. Will you like to eat it here or finish the sessions first? He coaxed squatting down removing strands of hair behind her ear

Audrey glared at the physiotherapists and faced Lucas who was looking at her lovingly.

" I'll eat first " she bummed as he nodded standing up.

" She needs to eat. You can attend to other patients" he stated as they yielded.

He rode her wheelchair to a table serving the food. He fed her slowly as Audrey stared at him. He did care for her. He wants her to recover. She doubts if the therapy will work. What if she remains lame?

" Ah.. ah " he urged as she opened her mouth.

" I know you feel I did wrong by saving you. I just want to give you the kind of life that you deserve. I want to give you all my love Audrey. Don't hate anymore" he pleaded to feed her

" I know you mean well. I hate been stranded. Being helpless Luke" she whispered chewing on the food

" I know. Depends on me, Audrey. I won't fail you. Trust in me" he urged handing her a cup of water

" I'll try. When are we going home? I hate this place" she remarked

" Tomorrow. That's why I want you to take your sessions seriously. You can still feel your legs right? He asked wiping her mouth with a serviette

" What if it doesn't work and I end up being a cripple luke. What if I can't move my legs again? " She mumbled tearily

" Hey, I'll still be here by your side. Loving you. Wanting you. Till death do us path " he promised pecking her in assurance

" That's horrible Luke. I just can't believe Ivy played me so well. She planned the destruction of that building. " She whimpered

" I'm keeping her alive for you. Viola too. I know you have a score to settle with them. Get better for me and yourself. " He coaxed pushing the wheelchair to physio.

" I'll deal with them if I get out of this. I'm doing this for you and mom. How is Mom by the way? She asked in curiosity

" She'll be here in the evening. I hope Lola and Ava are doing well?

" They're hurting. I don't blame them. We are like sisters. I didn't send for them because I feared for their lives. It seems I did the right thing. I couldn't bear to lose anyone to my quest of finding my mom" she stated

" Perhaps it wasn't your choice to make. ' he stated on getting there.

" She's ready docs. Don't pay attention to her slams. " He advised as they nodded resuming the session while he waited.

Lucas was on the phone daily answering questions from his parents and granny about her improvement. She wasn't improving. He knew he was forcing her to undergo those sessions because he didn't want to lose her. She has lost her confidence and courage.

She was done and rolled out of the physio.

" Let's go home Audrey," he said rolling her to the car. Carried her in then the wheelchair. She rests her head on his shoulder as Genevieve drove off. Bobby handled most of his business.

" What's wrong? He asked wishing she won't rant about dying again

" I'm tired of physiotherapy torture Luke. I'm tired of stressing everyone. Especially you. I hate pity parties. Can you stop wasting money on me? She asked sniffling as Genevieve looked at her from the side mirror in pity

" I'm not complaining. We'll see the doctor tomorrow then we can go home. Bear with it okay?. He started raising her chin

" Do I deserve it? She asked as he leaned in to kiss her but she turned her head

" I feel terrible luke. This incident ruined me. It may take a while to see you that way again or I might not. I'm sorry" she apologized. He pecked her

" I'm ready to wait, Audrey. I'm not leaving you till you walk "

" Perhaps you blame yourself for my predicament. Luke, I made that decision myself. It had nothing to do with you. " She started looking at him. She was right. He's blaming himself for her predicament. if he didn't push her away she wouldn't have fell prey to Ivy.

" I want you to get better and be confident again. I want my loving wild Audrey back"

" And if I can't be here. ? What if all you get is a depressed girl like me. Believe me, I've no intention of living like this. Making my mom cry every day, making you have false hope. Luke, you have to understand me" she coerced cupping his cheeks hoping he'll understand

" I know and I want you to believe in me too. " He added as she gave it a rest. He won't change his mind.

The car stopped at the hotel revealing Patty waiting for them.

" Mom!! " She called out as Patty ran to her knocking on the car door

" It's my mom Luke" she smiled opening the door enveloping her in a warm hug. Lucas alights to help her out of the car. Patty released her giving way for him to carry her. He carried inside as he has been doing since her discharge.

She stayed at the hospital for a week and was discharged after she completed the first round of physiotherapy sessions.

" I brought your favorite" patty announced trailing after them admiring the young couple

" Chicken soup or grilled chicken? She asked with her hands around Lucas's neck

" Both" she announced making her smile

" That's nice of you mom " she appreciated. The elevator door beeped. She didn't know when they entered it benefits of being carried like a baby not that she likes it.

He carried her to their room and dropped her slowly on the bed removing her shoes.

" Can mom bath me today? You look tired" she suggested not that he mind but he agreed. He needed a bath too.

Audrey smiled as he agreed. Patty set the table dishing her the chicken soup.

" Mr. Hamilton, dinner is served" she proposed as Audrey giggled shaking her head

" Mom, his name is Lucas and he doesn't like eating chicken soup as dinner. The room attendant will serve him later" she announced picking the spoon

" No way. He's going to taste my delicacy. He can try the grilled garnished Chicken instead " she refuted making Audrey chuckle. Good luck to her. Patty whispered something to Audrey.

Luke dressed for the night and found Audrey still eating. He went ahead to dry his hair.

" Luke, have a bite. " Said Audrey coquettishly. He was surprised. It's been a long he heard that voice. He hesitated but took a bite anyway.

" Tasty, Mrs patty made this? I can see who Audrey took after" he commented as she urged him to take another bite than another then another. Love is blind they say. That's the case of Luke at the moment. He ate till he was full. No need for room service.

" Thank you, Mr..... I mean Lucas" said patty grinning as the mother and daughter looked at each other triumphantly

" I guess. You should have your bath now" he suggested as the room attendant knocked. He didn't bother to open the door. He shooed him away casually with no need.

" C'mon sweetie, your clothes first," said Patty trying to open her shirt

" Mom, I can move my hands. " She chuckles taking her shirt off while Luke carried her to the bathroom sitting down in the bathtub.

" Anything you need? He asked reluctantly to leave

" No thanks. Mom is here " she muttered as he left hoping she was around. Lola and Ava have been bathing her since. This was his only chance and they'll be going home tomorrow which means Prudence will be attending to her. So unfortunate. He sneered.

Patty noticed it and giggled.

" Lucas does love you a lot" she trailed off

" Yeah, I know. He's the love of my life no doubt. " She murmured

" Then what's wrong?

" I can't be the romantic girlfriend he craves for right now. Not like this. How can I satisfy him like this? She murmured

" He doesn't seem to mind. You're a strong courageous woman. Don't let this weigh you down" she advised washing her hair with a neutralizing shampoo that entered her eyes.

" Mom-mom, my eyes" she exclaimed as Lucas rushed in washing it off. Patty chuckled at his behavior well she better leaves the rest to him. She'll get another chance to bathe her. She sneaked out stealthily.

" Are you alright? He asked worriedly as she nodded surprised to see him

" Where's mom? She inquired as they both searched the room with eyes for her.

" I guess she was offended," said Audrey sullenly

" No, she wasn't. I'll take care of it" he stated looking at her. She followed his lustful gaze to her bare chest then at his face.

" I'm waiting" she stated dipping herself in the tub covering up. He lifted his head clearing his throat while picking a scrub.

" I...." She wanted to protest but he was washing her back already using the hand shower to rinse them off then moved to her front which made her blush.

" Okay" he murmured stepping closer to her wiping her face than her neck and her hands, chest, stomach, and legs one after the other

" You're aware I can move my hands right? I can clean there myself" she said shyly poking his nose with her soapy finger locking gaze with him

" I didn't know," he said softly leaning closer and closer then kissed her. She put her hands around his neck drawing him closer. He entered the tub running his hands on her body in caresses.

She whimpered feeling his touch that she has missed. It just so happened her mom was around and she couldn't walk. Such a lame moment. She withdrew from the kiss looking anywhere but him

" What's wrong? He asked nibbling on her earlobe.

" Nothing. I'm supposed to be bathing. " She whimpered as she tried not to moan since her mom was in the suite.

" You're bathing," he said coquettishly which sounded melodious to her ear.

" Like this? She inquired feeling his hands cupping and massaging her boobs igniting her interest

" My mom is in the room Luke" she whispered

" Nope. She's checking her room out. Believe me. She is a very smart woman like you" he coaxed kissing her while she opened his shirt throwing it on the floor.

" Don't worry. It's just foreplay" he murmured fingering her. She couldn't believe her mom sided him on his little mission.

They were in the middle of it when she recalled her condition as she wanted to wrap her legs around him.

" Please stop. Please" she pleaded as he withdrew his hands from her.

" What is it? He asked confused

" I want to go to bed. I don't want this anymore. I don't want this. " She snapped.

" You don't have to yell. I'll take you to bed. " He started stepping out of the bathtub to get a bathrobe for her. She looked at his wet pajamas with his hardness and whimpered. She can't live like this. She preferred her bitchy behavior.

He returned with a bathrobe emptying the bathtub while washing her body which she refused to wish hehe didn't bulge him again.

" You done? " He asked but she said nothing

" Audrey, did I do something wrong? Maybe I did. I'm sorry. My feelings made me forget your conditions" he apologized

" Take me to bed " she requested as he carried her wrapping a towel around her. He dropped her on the bed carefully. She picked her dress which her mom dropped on the bed and wore it then slept off sobbing quietly to prevent him from noticing.

Lucas felt awful for making her sad. He slept on the couch to prevent himself from touching her in case his desires are aroused.

" Please come to bed. I don't know what came over me. I guess I need some time to adapt" she murmured

" It's okay. I'm coming"' he exclaimed sleeping beside her as she sniffled remembering their good old days snuggling together in bed. It seems she won't be able to experience it again. She can't even scoot close to him unless she's moved.

" I want to sleep with my mom" she demanded

" Audrey, I said I'm sorry. I'll respect your decision till you come to terms with it. Don't do this. " He pleaded to scoot near her

" Don't hate me Audrey" he pleaded as she nodded closing her eyes letting tears fall.
