Tribal Lord: SSS Ranked Taming Primitive Beauties and The Beasts! Chapter 45
A few seconds later, Garnak finally opened his eyes, clenching his fist tightly and smashing it to the side.
Woosh!
A gust of wind was created, and the 3rd Ranks on his right side even needed to take a step back, as the disparity between their strength was just too large.
Garnak immediately came back to his senses the moment he heard people’s congratulations.
He replied to them with a genuine smile before looking at Ash with a complicated expression for a moment and bowed deeply as he expressed himself. "Thank you—"
Ash interrupted him, waving his hand dismissively. "You don’t need to act like that, we’re now a family after all."
"Just remember to devote yourself to the tribe if you truly want to repay it." Ash smiled and was pleased when he saw that Garnak’s loyalty points had increased significantly.
...
Subsequently, they just waited there since the tribal points had been depleted dry, leaving him only a few thousand left that he couldn’t even upgrade any 3rd Ranks presents.
That was precisely why he decided to just wait for points coming his way as the subjugation teams did the work outside the dungeon.
Every once in a while for the next few hours, Ash heard notifications from the system.
[Ding! Congratulations to the host! You have subjugated the ... Tribe!]
[Ding! Congratulations to the host for obtaining 60,000 Tribal Points!]
[Ding! Congratulations to the host for obtaining 600,000 System Points!]

...
In three hours, the subjugation teams managed to subjugate six tribes in total, and he was extremely happy since his tribal points now had surpassed 200 thousand.
[Tribal Points: 214,339] [System Points: 3,300,000]
Now that the progression had exceeded his expectations, Ash came up with a new plan and finally called Old Ni.
"Old Ni, I have a mission for you."
He explained that he wanted him to go toward the Lizardmen’s base and gauge their strength.
If he deemed that they would be stronger after he upgraded a few more 5th Ranks, Ash intended to immediately storm their base.
However, if their strength was far too strong for the current them to handle, he would inform Old Ni to back off and just wait for the subjugation teams to subjugate more tribes.
After he gave a brief explanation, he opened the shop and bought some potions.
[Ding! 1,000,000 System Points have been successfully deducted.]
[Ding! You have successfully purchased x10 5th Rank Healing Potion.]
[Ding! 1,500,000 System Points have been successfully deducted.]
[Ding! You have successfully purchased x15 5th Rank Mana Potion.]
Subsequently, he bought two of the cheapest blue cards, as he wanted to give Garnak and Lothar a weapon each.
[Ding! 200,000 System Points have been successfully deducted.]
He directly used both cards and chose a sword and gloves.
[Ding! Congratulations to the host for obtaining the Bloodtusk Longsword]
[Ding! Congratulations to the host for obtaining the Bonecrusher Gloves]
He then gave the Bloodtusk Longsword to Lothar while the Bonecrusher Gloves went to Garnak.
Before they could express their gratitude, Ash waved his hand dismissively and started to distribute the potions.
He gave Old Ni two 5th Rank Healing Potions and five 5th Rank Mana Potions. As for the other three (Uncle Zan, Garnak, and Lothar), he gave them two healing and mana potions each.
Afterward, Old Ni departed and headed toward the east alone, going into the unknown.
Towering ancient trees rose like green pillars, their thick canopies overlapping to blot out most of the sunlight. Shafts of light pierced through gaps in the leaves, illuminating drifting pollen and motes of mana that lingered naturally in this region.
Vines as thick as a man’s arm clung to trunks, while massive roots twisted across the forest floor like coiled serpents.
Old Ni moved through it like a ghost.
His body glided between shadows, feet barely touching the ground as he leapt from root to root. His breathing was calm, controlled, as if he were merely strolling through familiar territory.
Every few dozen meters, his eyes would narrow slightly. A pulse of perception spread outward.
Fourth Rank Beast.
Old Ni adjusted his path without hesitation, angling his body and slipping away before the creature could even sense his presence. A horned jungle stalker prowled nearby, its scales shimmered with faint mana, but Old Ni bypassed it completely.
Moments later, a massive vine beast stirred beneath the soil, but by the time it emerged, Old Ni was already gone.
He had no intention of creating unnecessary commotion.
Fifteen minutes passed in silence.
The forest slowly began to thin. Trees grew shorter, roots less tangled, and the scent of damp earth was gradually replaced by open air. Old Ni came to a halt atop a massive branch and peered forward.
Beyond the treeline, a vast meadow stretched outward.
Golden grass swayed in the wind like rolling waves, and at its center stood a massive stronghold constructed from stone and reinforced wood. Thick palisades ringed the outer perimeter, watchtowers rising at regular intervals. Flags bearing crude draconic symbols fluttered atop the walls.
Old Ni’s gaze sharpened. Even from this distance, he could feel it as layers of pressure overlapping each other.
But the problem was, he couldn’t gauge their strength accurately.
"...Tch."
Old Ni exhaled slowly, then straightened his back. Hiding further would accomplish nothing. If he wanted to confirm their strength, he’d need to step into the open.
And so he did as his figure burst from the treeline like a cannonball.
The moment he crossed into the meadow, Old Ni accelerated violently, his body blurring as he shot toward the stronghold at terrifying speed. The grass beneath him flattened in a straight line, a visible path carved by raw momentum.
It took less than three seconds.
A sharp horn blast echoed from the watchtower.
"They spotted me already..." Old Ni raised an eyebrow.
But the instant he was detected, his lips curled upward as his senses caught them all in that fleeting instant,
Ten.
No—eleven.
Eleven distinct pressures surged outward from the stronghold. All of them were at the Fifth Rank.
Old Ni didn’t hesitate for even a breath.
He requested to contact Ash instantly and the moment they were connected, Old Ni informed. "There are eleven Fifth Ranks. This isn’t a light nest."
There was a brief pause. Then Ash’s voice came decisively.
"Proceed with the bait plan."
Old Ni smiled. "Understood."
He continued charging forward, closing the distance until the palisades loomed before him. Lizardmen scrambled along the walls, weapons unsheathed, mana flaring violently as alarms rang throughout the stronghold.
Old Ni stopped abruptly. He raised Cinderfall Sovereign casually and swung his sword as he activated his (Sever the Line) skill.
A massive crescent of sword light erupted outward, carrying a faint trace of inferno flame. The arc tore through the air and slammed into the wooden palisades.
BOOM!
The reinforced wall exploded.
Wood shattered, stone fragments scattered, and flames licked outward as the attack carved a clean, devastating gash through the stronghold’s defenses.
Old Ni didn’t linger around further as the moment his blade finished its arc, he turned and vanished in the opposite direction.
Two overwhelming pressures surged toward him almost instantly.
Very fast.
Old Ni sprinted several hundred meters before skidding to a halt. He turned sharply, planting his feet into the earth.
Then he raised his sword again, but this time, he didn’t hold back.
Mana flooded his body as he unleashed another (Sever the Line) skill.
The slash tore forward, far heavier than the previous one, but its momentum was clearly draining as Old Ni had nearly emptied his reserves.
Swoosh!
Two Fifth Rank Lizardmen appeared at the edge of the attack’s path. Their scales gleamed as they instantly unsheathed their weapons—one wielded a curved saber, the other a straight sword.
Their eyes widened, then they instantly poured mana into their blades.
Boom!!
The collision shook the meadow violently. Shockwaves rippled outward, grass uprooted and earth torn apart.
The slash was blocked. The two Lizardmen were pushed back several steps, their arms trembling violently.
Before they could even counter attack , Old Ni was already gone.
He gulped down a Fifth Rank Mana Potion mid-sprint, mana surging back into his body like a flood.
Behind him, two more pressures locked onto his position.
’Four 5th Ranks... Perfect.’ Old Ni thought to himself.
Far from the stronghold now, the dense jungle swallowed them once more. The environment shifted instantly as trees closed in, shadows deepened, and visibility plummeted.
Old Ni slowed down and stopped as three figures emerged in front of him.
Garnak. Uncle Zan. Lothar.
Without a word, Old Ni stepped forward and activated his skill (Sword Domain).
An invisible boundary spread outward, centered on Old Ni. The forest seemed to bend subtly, sword intent saturating the air.
The four Lizardmen burst into the domain and immediately felt it, feeling shocked as their movements slowed unnaturally, especially the sword wielder.
Old Ni didn’t even let them catch a breath as he instantly used another (Sever the Line) skill, using almost all of his mana once again.
