Cracks spiderwebbed outward. The body twitched once then went motionless.
Lothar exhaled slowly. "Thank you."
"Next time, just hit harder." Garnak rolled his shoulders.
Lothar rolled his eyes in response.
Elsewhere, Draven spun his halberd in a tight arc.

His opponent wielded a massive war cleaver attached to a chain.
Every swing was unpredictable as the attack was whip-like. The cleaver screeched through the air.
Draven blocked one, but the chain twisted unexpectedly and the blade came from a blind angle.
Slash!
A deep cut opened across his shoulder. Draven gritted his teeth and thrust his halberd forward.
His halberd pierced toward the Lizardman’s chest. The lizardman twisted its body, scales scraping against the blade.
The halberd only sank halfway.
The Lizardman yanked the halberd and chain. Draven’s weapon was pulled off balance while the cleaver came down again.
Boom!
Draven barely managed to parry as the force drove him to one knee.
The Lizardman roared triumphantly, but then a blur entered from the side.
Vakra charged ahead and the lizardman sensed it, swinging the cleaver toward Vakra.
Vakra didn’t dodge as he stepped inside the swing. The cleaver grazed him, but he grabbed the chain and yanked it hard.
The Lizardman stumbled forward and Draven reacted instantly as he saw an opportunity.
He rotated his halberd and thrusted it forward. The blade pierced clean through the Lizardman’s body, pinning it down.
Before the enemy could retaliate, Vakra’s fist descended.
Boom!
The first punch crushed the Lizardman’s jaw. Then he gave another punch.
Boom!
His skull exploded and the body instantly collapsed while still being impaled on Draven’s halberd.
Vakra exhaled and looked at another place where another battle had taken place as Draven pulled his weapon free silently.
Boruk fought against his opponent, his spear moving extremely fast as he thrust forward.
Clang!
His opponent carried a massive shield fused with bone and metal. Each block was solid and it was hard for him to get through his defense.
Boruk thrust again, but was blocked again and again. The Lizardman countered with a shield bash.
Boom!
Boruk was forced back and the lizardman instantly charged ahead, bashing his shield forward.
Boruk sidestepped and swung the spear shaft at the knee.
Crack!
The Lizardman staggered for a split second before counter attacking him right away.
A blade emerged from behind the shield, slashing toward Boruk’s thigh.
Slash!
Boruk’s thigh was cut, blood flowed out of the shallow cut.
The duel entered a stalemate as every thrust was blocked, every advance repelled.
That was until... A silver arc flashed behind the Lizardman as Uncle Zan appeared silently, delivering a clean slash.

The shield arm fell as its shoulder was cleanly severed.
Before the Lizardman could scream, Boruk finally found the opening he had been waiting for and thrust his spear forward.

It pierced through the eye socket. The spear tip exited the back of the skull.
He then twisted his spear and yanked it free. The Lizardman fell to the ground with a heavy thud.
On the other hand, Kargor fought barehanded and his opponent actually matched him.
Boom!
Their fists collided, creating shockwaves that rippled outward. Kargor stepped back half a step.
The Lizardman grinned looking at the human who seemed to be weaker than itself before charging forward. A knee strike landed in Kargor’s abdomen.
Bang!
He coughed, then immediately retaliated with a heavy hook.
Crack!
The Lizardman’s jaw shifted unnaturally, yet it still didn’t fall as if it didn’t do much damage.
They exchanged brutal blows as each strike hurt each other and each impact sent tremors across the ground.
This happened for a while before a shadow passed behind the Lizardman silently.
At this time, the lizardman still hadn’t noticed Old Ni’s presence as it raised its fist to strike Kargor again.
Old Ni smiled faintly, raising his sword over his head and activating his (Iron Weight Slash) skill.
Boom!
The downward strike carried overwhelming mass. It cleaved from shoulder to hip and cleanly split the lizardman in two.
The ground beneath them cracked under the force.
