Chapter 41: Chapter 41
"What is it?" Several guests began to wonder.
"What is this?" They panic.
"What happened?" and also curious.
"Is that a fake? Why are they gathered there?"
All the guests and participants who attended the night auction and charity event looked curious and enthusiastic. They all looked towards the stage and noticed the three members of B4 who were surrounding Miller Fallon, the honor student who was showing off the armor.
Aland took a step closer and held Miller's left hand. Hunter did not want to lose either. He held Miller's right hand and drew the sword he was holding. Meanwhile, Elmar stood in the middle. He stared directly at the figure in front of him, who was wearing full samurai armor with a pair of narrowed eyes.
"Open your fog!" cried Elmar calmly.
Miller, who they were besieging, started to feel uncomfortable and panicked. He rebelled by pulling his hand from Aland's grip and Hunter's.
"Let me go. What are you guys doing?"
The guests pushed forward even more. They want to know what happened. The presenter even had to move his microphone closer to the B4 members on stage so that the others would listen.
Aland, Hunter, and Elmar exchanged glances. With enthusiasm, Elmar removes Kabuto from Miller's head.
Everyone held their breath and gasped. A young man whose bangs partially covered his face tried to rebel and escape Aland and Hunter's grip.
"Miller?" Elmar was taken aback.
"You… Miller Fallon?" Hunter almost screamed on stage.
Girls who had never seen Miller Fallon without glasses screamed hysterically. Only this time did they realize that Miller Fallon was that handsome, even close to being beautiful.
"Yes, it's me. Why are you guys here? Do you guys have a problem with me?" Miller growled as the three members of B4 surrounded him like caught thieves.
"Mi-Miller?" surprised Marlyn, who had been standing behind Hunter without anyone noticing.
Because she couldn't believe it, Marlyn stepped closer and touched Miller's face, who was not wearing glasses. His hair was a little longer than before. But Miller looks like so healthy and ordinary young man in general.
Aland and Hunter immediately backed away from Miller. Hunter even went so far as to bite into his clenched fist to escape his frustration.
"How could that be?" he screamed.
"They have almost the same scent. But, I'm sure something isn't right here," muttered Aland. "Nothing can trick my sense of smell."
Aland looked back and paid attention to the area around the stage. He felt something flash away. Aland never doubted his instincts and sense of smell. He immediately jumped off the stage and chased after the figure.
Hunter immediately ran to the back of the stage to check on the situation. He rummaged through the waiting room, looking for the whereabouts of someone he hoped would stand on stage.
"I'm sure she's still around here. Not Miller Fallon, but someone who smells and looks like him."
Only Elmar was still standing on the stage. He smiled smugly when he saw the real Miller Fallon standing before him. Elmar took a few steps forward and placed both hands on Miller's shoulders.
Elmar patted Miller on the shoulder. "Thank you," Elmar whispered briefly before catching up with Hunter and Aland.
Marlyn helped Miller back to the waiting room, which was a mess due to Hunter's tantrum. Miller had to walk with difficulty. The samurai armor made it difficult to move.
When they were alone, Marlyn approached Miller and asked seriously.
"What happened? How did you get here? You suddenly…" Marlyn looked up in disbelief and also grateful. "Where is she–Jonea? Is she all right?"
Marlyn kept talking and asking tons of questions. Miller hasn't had time to answer any of those questions; new ones have popped up. Annoyed, he dragged Marlyn and cupped the girl's face with both hands.
"Oh, my God…" muttered Marlyn. "You… so handsome! You… are so beautiful!"
"Could you be quiet for a moment, Marlyn?" whispered Miller.
Marilyn winked. "All right… all right!"
Marlyn, who had previously been pacing like a madman in front of Miller, was now silent and obedient.
"I'll explain everything to you. Okay? But help me remove this armor first. These clothes are cumbersome and difficult. I tormented. And by the way… who were those three men? They seem to be annoying!"
Marlyn burst out laughing.
"What is so funny?"
"Let me guess. You don't have your memories yet?"
Miller shook his head.
"Yeah, at least you came out as a hero to your sister. The three of them… how should I put it, huh? They… fell in love with you!"
Marlyn held back her laughter until her stomach hurt when she saw Miller's reaction, which looked like he wanted to vomit.
Previously, Hunter had searched the waiting room but found no one. He left the waiting area before Miller and Marlyn got in there. Elmar follows Hunter, following a solid scent trail around the exit.
"I sense Ed's involvement here," Elmar grumbled. "Wow, fake Miller. Hunter must also feel the same way as me."
Aland ran towards the main exit. He smelled a powerful and highly seductive scent. Aland followed the movement of that person, which felt very conspicuous.
Aland followed his smell to the path connected to the forest behind the school.
"I… was almost fooled. They have almost the same scent. I can barely tell the difference. But, coming face to face with Miller Fallon on stage, I realized something. They are two different people."
Hunter and Elmar ran from the hall's back door to the same destination as Aland. They met on the path leading to the school forest.
"Edison, stop right there!" shouted Hunter when he caught Ed trying to flee into the woods with someone beside him.
Elmar also stopped beside Hunter. Aland came after. The three of them were both waiting for the reaction of Edison, who was standing a few meters in front of them while protecting someone with a black coat on her head.
Ed looked nervous and awkward. He did not let go of his embrace from the figure beside him. The girl's head is covered with a coat. After whispering something to the girl, Ed smiled broadly to welcome his three best friends.
"What surprise did I give you? Finally, I won the auction. My armor sold for a fantastic price. Fifty million Col. Thank you to those of you who bought it."
Ed bowed respectfully.
Hunter ran up and grabbed Ed by the collar.
Ed raised both hands in surrender and said frantically. "Hey, what's going on? Why are you mad at me? You're the one who bid on that shirt for 50 million Coll!"
Elmar tries to separate them both. "Hunters, calm down. We can talk about it."
"What is this?" asked Ed, who looked feigned confusion. "Why are you guys running around and hunting me? What happened?"
"Leave the girl to us!" exclaimed Aland, who joined the debate.
Ed, who was initially relaxed and not severe, suddenly became alert. A pair of fangs and claws protruded. He shifted a few steps to protect the black hooded girl behind him. Ed even stretched out his two clawed hands to block as his best friend stepped a step further.
"What is this? Why do you three want my girl?"
Aland's eyes reddened. His fangs were sticking out. "None of us have that girl. I'm sick of you guys constantly calling her my girl… my girl… my girl…!" Aland said as if he was mocking Elmar.
Elmar sighed. "Guys, calm down! Many eyes are watching us."
"What's the matter? I don't understand what you're talking about!" Ed said, annoyed. "I thought it was about the armor you bought at the auction. Is there something I don't know?"
"Enough!" Elmer shouted at last.
Elmar, who is the most mature and always calm, is provoked when he sees Ed, who continues to act. "Edison, let the girl come here. We want to talk to her!"
"I won't let it!" Ed replied in a firmer and louder tone. "You guys have to get past me before you want her! She is… my mate!"
"Damn!" Elmar cursed. He restrained Hunter. "Ed, we just need an explanation from her!"
"All this time, I feel cheated on its existence," continued Aland. "She has to explain everything clearly in front of us."
"Fool you?" he chuckled.
Hunter grew increasingly furious. His emotions were running high. "If that's what you want!" He had turned into a wolf with red and golden fur and was ready to fight Ed.
"Enough!" said the girl in the end. "Let me talk to them. If that's what they want."
The figure hiding behind the black cloak turned around. She took off the coat that covered her head and face.
The three members of B4 gaped when they saw the girl in the white dress in front of them.
