Chapter 35: Chapter 35
Jonea felt her body so relaxed. She thought she was dreaming. Someone was massaging her head gently. Jonea felt like she didn't want to wake up from sleep.
After being massaged, she began to feel warm water pouring over her head. At that moment, Jonea jerked awake. She almost jumped, but someone held her shoulders to keep her down.
"Let me go!" shouted the girl.
“Hey, calm down! You're so noisy. Behave yourself. There are a lot of people watching us," said one of the students who stood with his hands on his hips beside Jonea.
The girl was flustered. She was in a position to almost lay down. A beautiful woman working at a salon wearing a mask and gloves washing her hair.
"Where am I?"
"Come on, don't be loud! You're at the salon. Let them clean your body and make you as beautiful as possible," said the student accompanying Jonea.
"No!" she shouted. "I don't want to! Let me get out of here."
"You want me to knock you out again, huh?" The student thrust a contract agreement into Jonea's face. "You… already put your thumbprint. Remember, you have a debt of 10 million Coll. If you refuse to do this task, you must pay for it. The chairman has kindly reimbursed the 10 million Coll for you as long as you are willing to accept this assignment."
Jonea looked at her friends, who were glaring at her viciously one by one. Jonea even glanced at the salon worker whose hands were full of shampoo lather. Jonea lay down again and gave her body to be handled by the salon attendant.
"We have also prepared clothes for you. Please put it on after makeup! We keep it in the locker room." The student went with the others to the waiting room.
Jonea closed her eyes while biting her lower lip until it hurt and nudging her thumbnails into her palms.
'What if Elmar and Aland see me in a girl's appearance? Of course, they will recognize me. This can't be happening!' thought Jonea. 'I have to find a way to avoid meeting them.'
"You are a student of Abraham High School? Your skin is so soft," said the salon worker. "You are like a girl. I'm so jealous of you."
Jonea was barely listening to the conversation. She was too preoccupied to think of a way to escape tonight's auction.
They had done Jonea's makeup and put on her wig. The salon workers even held back their laughter at Jonea's appearance.
"You think this is funny?" grunted Jonea.
"Sorry, we couldn't help ourselves. We can make you look pretty, but your friends asked us to do makeup like this."
Jonea looked at her face in the mirror and felt sick.

One of her friends took a picture of Jonea. The girl screamed angrily and covered her face. The salon became crowded and noisy because they bickered.
"Stop! This isn't funny at all."
"Oh, believe me, you are funny, Miller! We will win tonight's auction. Ha ha ha…."
Jonea was angry but tried to ignore it. She got up from the chair. "Tell me, where is the dressing room?"
They let Jonea go into the locker room to laugh. The girl ran but instead toppled over and tripped in panic. The laughter grew louder and louder.
Jonea hid in the locker room. She screamed and hit the chair to vent her frustration.
In the dressing room, there was already a bright red dress. The dress is slightly open at the chest. Jonea held it momentarily, then slammed the dress on the floor.
"I can't wear a dress that opens like this, or they'll know I'm a girl! Don't the guys think? If a man were to dress like this, his fake breasts would be exposed. How tacky!"
Jonea paced back and forth and massaged her throbbing temples.
"Oh, I see! They did it intentionally to show those fake boobs and become a laughingstock! Disgusting. Do they want to degrade the dignity of women? What charity event is this, huh?"
The girl's cell phone rang.
"Hello, Marilyn? Have you come yet?"
"Yes, where are you?" asked Marlyn in panic and hurry.
"I'm in the locker room. Get over here and save me!" Jonea said desperately.
Marlyn came driving a mini truck (a car with an open pickup). She borrowed the car from her parents, who own a Freshmart business. The car door even has a vegetable logo.
Marlyn parked her car in front of the socialites' salon. People look at her strangely because she is the only one who drives a dilapidated vehicle.
Marlyn, who has exotic skin and long curly hair, immediately caught the attention of the students from Abraham High School as soon as she got off the truck. They all whistled, seeing Marlyn, who was so sexy.
Marlyn did not waste the opportunity either. She glanced at them and returned their flirtatious greetings before quickly heading to the locker room.
Jonea panicked in the locker room. She kept pacing like crazy. She didn't even touch the dress.
Marilyn opened the door. Jonea jumped and screamed when she saw her friend coming.
"Oh, Lord! Please help me, Marilyn! You have to get me out of this terrible situation. Do you have any ideas?"
Marlyn raised both hands and laughed until her stomach hurt. "What the hell? You look… ridiculous, Jonea!"
"I am angry!" she shouted.
"I know!" replied Marilyn. "But, this is good for you. At least they don't know your real face when you dress as a real woman."
"The problem is, Aland and Elmar have already seen my face in the appearance of a real woman. If I come to the auction, then my cover will be blown. But if I don't come, Ed will charge me 10 million Coll for breaking the tea banquet set."
"The most important thing now is to get out of here. I'll still drive you back to school and attend the auction. But I won't let those jerks out there take you, or they will harass you on the way."
Marlyn took off her jacket and took out clothes from the big bag she was carrying. She removed the makeup on Jonea's face and disguised her appearance with the clothes she had brought.
After changing clothes, Jonea walked with Marlyn to leave the locker room.
"Be as reasonable as possible," whispered Marlyn. "Don't make them suspicious."
Jonea just nodded. She covered half of her face with a knitted scarf around her neck. She also covered her hair with a sky hat.
Jonea looks like the wrong costume. Winter has yet to start. She had already even put on thick clothes.
"You try to check Miller inside!" said one of the students. "Why is he taking so long?" The student was getting impatient.
Two students went to check on Miller. They passed Marlyn and Jonea, who were heading toward the exit. The two male students felt a little strange seeing Jonea dressed so thickly. But they ignored her because they were rushing to check on Miller.
Jonea and Marlyn got into the mini truck and drove away. The girl had a look through the rearview mirror. The students from Abraham High School panicked because Miller was nowhere to be found.
"This is crazy!" cried Jonea.
"Calm down, Jona!" persuaded Marlyn. "Your makeup is very tacky. They purposely dress you like that to attract attention. But, I will be your fairy godmother tonight and turn you into a beautiful Cinderella. It'll amaze them all, and most importantly, they won't recognize you as either Miller or Jonea. You see what I mean?"
Jonea rolled her eyes. "I don't understand. I only understand one thing, you have to save me!"
