"They just need my testimony more than Edgar, for that they took longer to hold me, but they're not gonna be able to throw me in jail." said Leo confidently making alana breathe again after returning to hug her husband.

"I'm worried, I'm scared" blurts out Leo with his wife's fear and stroking his back and also reassuring him.

"Don't think of anything else, it's over" Leo said.

"Well then, looks like our business is done, what do you plan on doing next? "Edgar asked Leo to turn his eyes to his father's old friend.

"Actually, I have a favor to ask you, but we can't talk about it in this place." Leo said.

"You want to come to my mansion? "Asked Edgar, making alana release her embrace on Leo and then shake her head and it seemed like alana's reaction was offensive to Edgar.

"What is the meaning of the head shaking, do you suspect me of hurting you or keeping you in my mansion? "Asked Edgar, making alana stare directly at him.

"Of course we just know each other, and I don't want to put myself back in harm's way and start believing in you, no one knows what your heart is like even though you helped us before." alana made Edgar giggle.

"Come on, I was your father-in-law's best friend," Edgar explained but alana folded her arms dispassionately looking at the man with the scar on his left face.

"But you've also betrayed my father-in-law, no matter what your issues are, I don't know but you've had your differences, and I can't guarantee that you'll take your revenge on us." alana made Edgar cough.

"Well, well, whatever you want to talk about, which is exactly where I hate the crowd," Edgar said after that, leaving Leo and alana in silence.

"Honey." said Leo as he stroked alana's shoulder.

"We're not gonna follow him, are we?" Asked alana looking at Leo made Leo shake his head.

"I'm thinking the same thing as you, someone close to us can't be trusted, let alone someone we barely know," Leo said, "makes alana draw his lips because Leo shares his opinions.

"Well, with one hotel room for one whole night and you guys on it," Edgar said, making alana frown her forehead.

"Hey, what's with that expression? You don't like it or don't want to buy me a one-night hotel." Edgar says it upsets alana.

"Don't you have the mansion, why don't you go back to the mansion after we've finished talking, instead of staying at the same hotel?" alana said ina way that made Edgar giggle again.

"Come on, I'm tired of having a big moment like this, so let me just rest my body. after our conversation is over, I'm sure the conversation your husband was talking about is going to take a really long time and it's going to take my brain to think about it, Because of his high yet rugged confidence on his shoulders from Leo made alana look up in her face.

"I'm fine, let's just hear him out" Leo said, made alana impossible to say anything more when her husband agreed to Edgar's request.
