Leo was shocked when Bruce, who was at the height of a slump, dropped his limp as the blood began to flex in his suit, after which he looked up at rose's proud smile, because his aim was right at Bruce's heart, though he had no experience at all in shooting.

Rose was targeting Bruce's head for the gun, but hitting him in the heart wouldn't matter to her.

"What are you doing? "Exclaimed Leo to make rose just shrug off her shoulders

"Simply ease your task" in response, rose made Leo stare at him with a keen look while alana turned her face to her aunt who turned out to be so cruel, Leo then dumped Bruce on the ground with a breathless breath.

"I'm sure you weren't able to kill your uncle, as Bruce said your gut wasn't as big as everyone images. you were just a kid yesterday afternoon who just came out of the woodwork because of my plan. well, wasn't it my plan to get you and alana back in touch?"Furthermore, she made Leo clench his hands firmly, Leo did not deny that rose's actions were not in question but still his plans made Leo think less of the stepmother.

"Give me the files, and sign them right in front of me," rose said, leaving Leo staring at the document still in Bruce's hands, and then grabbing it and stepping over to rose with the gun he was still pointing at, alana.

"Stop" rose once Leo got closer to him.

"Sign the document right now and I'll let you go," rose said, but as rose was about to retrieve it, Leo pulled it right back

"I'm not stupid, I turn in these papers and you let my wife go." Leo said, making rose look at her with an disparate smile.

"Well on the count of three" said rose and they started counting after that Leo gave his papers to his stepmother while rose handed alana, alana ran right into Leo's arms and held her close while rose smiled slyly as Leo signed the document.

"Well, you can go," rose said casually, making Leo's forehead frown, the wily woman could not have let herself and alana just thought Leo, Leo thought that rose must be up to something worse than this.

"What are you waiting for, do you want me to finish you off too so you can live in peace?" Tanya rose made Leo's hands clench but alana's fingers again crack.

"We go now"Alana blurted out that she was so tired of having to go through so much trouble and ordeal in her household, Leo exhaled after which he hugged alana's shoulder tightly and turned, but rose smiled slyly as Leo and alana walked away, they were truly so pitiful, and when they were far away, her sly smile returned to the corner of her lips and reached out to the gun.

"Did you think that I would let you go so easily, that I wasn't stupid? If you change your mind and you come back and take back everything I've got right now "rose muttered the very next second she was ready to pull the trigger but suddenly the gunshot from the other side of her neck made rose collapse instantly while holding her bloody neck.

Not only was rose about to rise again and to escape in fear that Leo would change his mind when he saw himself helpless, a single bullet suddenly relodged in his left breast just as he did Bruce made rose finally fall on the damp soil of the forest while Leo and alana could only be speechless from the sight of the scene in front of them.

Somehow this day they've seen some dead people in front of them.

"Where the shot came from," Leo murmured, trying to escape his gaze in every direction as suddenly one shot shot shot straight through the air and killed rose.

"My legs are hurting so much, I can finally come out of my hiding place" said someone coming out of the bushes not far from Leo made Leo twist his forehead

"Were you there all the time?" Asked Leo made Edgar stretch his body with a nod.

"Of course, how could I let you be pursued by such underhanded people? Yes, even though I was used to being powerless before, they actually had a thousand and one ways to do anything to get their wish fulfilled." Edgar said as he walked over to Leo and alana.

"And what of their bodies, shall we leave them here in the woods?" Asked Leo to make Edgar nod his head.

"It's a good idea to let them be a meal of beasts, and it's getting dark," he answered casually, making alana open her eyes.

"We can't leave them, so there are a lot of people wondering where they are. we should report them to the police," alana retorts.

"Then if they ask who killed them both and these people what answer you would give," Edgar said, silenced alana with the sight of some dead bodies nearby.

"You can't answer it no" Edgar went on, but the next second Edgar just tingled when he saw alana's innocent demeanor.

"You really think I'd just leave them here?" Tanya Edgar made alana look at him disapproving.

"Didn't you say that?"

"Your wife has absolutely no sense of humor" Edgar blurted as he looked at Leo shrug off his shoulder.

"Of course we should report it if we don't want it to get long," Edgar says.

"Then what shall we answer we shall say that it was you who killed them? "Alana made Edgar stare at him disapproving.

"I just killed that conniving, old man that conniving woman who killed him." Edgar replied, upsetting alana.

"It sounds the same, you killed him."

"You don't have to worry, I just need a little game of escape, you don't think too much of me and worry about me that way." Edgar said confidently, condemning alana.
