Chapter 98: Chapter 98

Valeria gasped when she saw the beautiful silver bracelet Noah was holding.

"You like it?" Noah asked with a smile.

Valeria was too speechless to utter a word.

"I'll take your silence as a yes. I can literally see the admiration in your eyes, I'm sure you love it." Noah smiled.

He took her right hand, and fixed the bracelet on her wrist.

"Make sure you never loose this." He said strictly.

He kissed her wrist.

"Beautiful." Noah muttered, staring at the bracelet on her wrist, it fits her perfectly.

"Oh my God." Valeria finally found her voice.

"Thank you so much Noah, I..it's so beautiful." She said, staring at the bracelet.

"I'm glad you like it."

"Like it? I love it!!" Valeria giggled.

"I'll be back," Noah scurried back to the mall, even before Valeria had the chance to say anything else.

"Oh no, I wonder what he's up to this time." Valeria groaned.

Soon, Noah came back holding a little gift box in his hand.

"What's this Noah? What did you go back to get?"

"Please give this to him." Noah said, stretching the gift to Valeria.

Valeria sighed deeply, then she shook her head.

"You're impossible, I wonder what this is," She said, taking the box from him.

"Uhmm....it's the necklace and the watch I wanted to buy for him before you pulled me out of there, please give it to him, I'm sure he'll love it." Noah said.

Valeria opened the box, and her jaw dropped in shock. The necklace and watch were so beautiful, they were shiny and sparkly, that she believed that they would have cost a fortune.

"Fred would love this so much," She muttered.

"Fred?" Noah asked, and Valeria raised her head up to him.

"I know I haven't told you his name, but that's his name, Fred," She said with a proud smile.

"Fred," Noah repeated.

He placed a hand on his beating chest, the joy he felt knowing her son's name was refreshing.

"It's a great name," he said with a smile.

"Yes, thank you so much for all this, Noah, you didn't have to do this, but still, thank you so much, I really appreciate everything. These gifts and I'm sure Fred will love each and every single one of them," she said.

"I'll be so happy to hear a feed back from you." Noah said. Valeria laughed.

"Let's go, I'll drop you at home. Your son should be home by now, right?"

"Uhmm....he's currently at my friend's, but she'll bring him home." Valeria lied, she didn't want to tell him about Fred's condition and that he was at the hospital.

"Oh, alright then, but I can still drop you at home right, or should we head to where he is instead?"

"No no, let's go to my home," Valeria replied.

"Okay," Noah agreed.

He opened the door for her to go in, and when she had gone there, he shut the door behind her and went over to the driver's seat and drove off.

"Bye!" Valeria waved at Noah the moment they got to her apartment. She didn't want him to know about Fred's condition.

So she decided to mislead him.

"Bye?" Noah asked and she stared at him in confusion.

"We haven't moved the things I bought into your apartment," Noah said, and Valeria sighed.

It's even late already and she really needs to see Fred now, else he'll end up crying about seeing her.

"Oh sure." Valeria replied and Noah got out of his car.

He opened the boot and he began taking the stuff out.

Valeria took out the keys from her purse and she inserted them in her keyhole, then she unlocked the door.

She came back and she started taking some things in as Noah took them out.

A few minutes later, they were already yawning. Valeria stretched her hands and she yawned widely.

By now they were both sitting in the living room.

"I'll never go shopping with you, gosh!" Valeria said and Noah laughed.

"Stop being a cry baby." Noah said.

"As you can see, there are no tears in my eyes," Valeria said, and Noah laughed slightly.

"Aren't you gonna bring your son home?" Noah asked and that was when Valeria realized she was already late.

"Umm, aren't you leaving yet?" Valeria asked.

"Are you chasing me away? Or you don't want me to see ur son?" Noah asked.

"Whatever!" She scoffed.

"Fine, I'll leave, but that's after you do something for me," Noah said seriously.

"And what's it?" She asked.

"A peck on my cheek," Noah said.

"Come on, go home and stop acting like a child, you aren't one," Valeria said.

"But I want you to peck me before I leave," Noah insisted.

"Gosh, you're impossible." She scoffed.

Valeria knew that not agreeing to his demands would only be a waste of her time.

"Fine." She said and she made to kiss him, but when the minute her lips got closer to him, he switched positions and she kissed his lips instead.

She tried to break the kiss but Noah held her and he deepened the kiss.

"You taste so good!" Noah said between kisses but she didn't reply to him, she just wanted to see her son.

Valeria slowly broke the kiss off. She didn't want it to go further, else she might end up visiting her son late at night.

"You can go now!" She said seriously.

"I will."

"Well, thanks for everything, I really appreciate you. You made my day. I've never been this happy in my entire life."

"Thanks for everything, Noah," All she wanted at that moment was for him to leave, so she could go see her son.

"I'll get going then!" Noah said and he stood up.

Valeria also stood up with him and she smiled.

"I'll just see you off." Valeria said.

"It's okay, I'll see myself out." Noah said, and he walked out of the apartment.
