Chapter 90: Chapter 90

"Keep it down please," Valeria said in a whisper.

"You literally told me you were going to the office, so how did Noah come into this picture? Something tells me you didn't go to the office," Shane stated, staring suspiciously at Valeria.

Valeria sighed deeply.

"Well, Noah ended up not coming to the office today, he said he was stressed out, so we worked from his home." Valeria lied.

Shane squinted her eyes.

"Come on Shane, stop giving me that look." Valeria groaned.

"Nothing happened?" Shane asked, and Valeria furrowed her brow.

"What do you mean?" Valeria asked in confusion.

"Hope nothing happened between you two, because your body has the glow. Don't get me wrong, it's just...there's some difference in your appearance. I don't know, but there's this glow," Shane explained.

Valeria swallowed nothing.

"Come on Shane, you're talking rubbish." Valeria said with a nervous laugh.

"What do you mean by glow? Stop talking nonsense, Shane."

Shane sighed, she didn't want to really push things further, the kind of glow she was talking about was the one someone gets when they've had sex. She didn't want to believe that Valeria would sleep with Noah.

"No! Valeria would never do such a thing, she hates that family, she wouldn't do such a thing, not after what had happened to her in the past," Shane muttered in her thoughts.

"Shane?" Valeria called, nudging her arm.

"Yeah." Shantel flinched.

"What's with you? You were kind of lost there," Valeria said. Shane smiled.

"It's nothing."

"You're sure?" Valeria asked.

"Yeah, come on, let's go to Fred, he must be waiting for us." Shane said, and she left, even before Valeria had the chance to say anything else.

"Hmm, strange." Valeria muttered.

She decided to shrug the feeling off, then she went after Shane.

Noah sat in his living room, a glass of whiskey in his hand.

"Fine, I had to leave because of my son."

"Valeria gave birth to a boy." He muttered, then he took a sip of his drink.

Deep down, Noah knew he was the father of Valeria's child, but all the same, he still wanted to carry out a DNA test to be sure he was truly the father of her child.

"What if she had also had sex with someone else when she left the house, one can't tell." He said to himself.

"I'll have to find a way to see her son, even if it results in me stalking her, I'll have to see him."

"What if he turns out to be your child? What will you do then? How will you reveal the truth to Valeria? You know she'll hate you, even more than she hates your brother." His subconscious mind said.

"I know, but if that child turns out to be mine, I'll have to do everything to have Valeria and him. I'll tell her the truth."

"Really?"

"Think about it."

"Arrrgh..." Noah groaned, then he ruffled his hair in frustration.

"Maybe I won't tell her the truth, at least not yet." He said, then he gulped down the whole drink.

Something suddenly crossed through his mind and he stood up, he took out his laptop and he sat back on the couch.

He went through his laptop and he found her application letter. He ran his eyes across every detail and there, he found her home address.

"Yes!" He said happily and he quickly copied her address.

"I guess I'd be paying her a surprise visit soon." He thought with a broad smile on his face.

He closed his laptop and he rested his back on the couch with a satisfied grin on his face.

Next morning.....

Valeria had already left the hospital. She told Shane to look after Fred before she left.

She went back home and she prepared a little snack for herself. After eating, she freshened up, wore a black blazer, and a white shirt.

She didn't have any suitable shoes for work, so she wore Shane's.

She took her handbag and she made to leave when the doorbell suddenly rang.

She furrowed her brows knowing she wasn't expecting anyone, besides Shane and Fred were both at the hospital.

It's not like she has any friends who'd want to visit her.

She sighed and she went to get the door.

She opened the door and she immediately screamed loudly as shock was written all over her face.

She's so surprised to see Noah standing outside in all of his glory.

He wore a white suit and a white pair of shoes, she couldn't help but stare at him, with her mouth open in awe.

Everything in him was completely white in color, even his hair. The last time she was with him, his hair was black in color. Maybe he'd dyed it to match his outfit.

"Umm, good morning, can I come in?" Noah asked and Valeria didn't know when she nodded, asking him to come in.

Noah walked passed her and he went inside, with Valeria's eyes trailing behind him, as she watched his every move.

Noah's eyes scanned around and he saw a picture of a little boy hanged on the wall.

He stared deeply at the picture and he saw a striking resemblance between him and the kid.

The little boy looked exactly like him back when he was still a kid, but the resemblance was still visible.

"Is he your son?" Noah found himself asking and that was when Valeria got to her senses.

She turned swiftly to him with an angry glare.

"What are you doing here?" Valeria asked and Noah scoffed.

He wondered if she was mentally unstable, else why would she be asking such questions, when she literally let him in.

"I'm asking you a question!" She stated.

"Where's your son?" He asked and Valeria's heart skipped a bit.

"Did Ergon tell him to take my son away from me?" She mentally thought.

"No that's not gonna happen!" She stated fiercely.

"Get out!" She half yelled, shocking Noah.

"Valeria I.." Noah trailed off and he held her hand and that was it.

Valeria felt the spark, it was like cold chilled water had been poured on her.
