Valeria was shocked at how fast her body reacted to Noah's touch.

Valeria refused to listen, and rather pushed him away with her other hand.

"Leave Noah! I don't want you here. How do you even know where I live? What brings you here? Did Ergon ask you to take my child away from me?" Valeria questioned, her face red with anger.

Noah's eyes widen with surprise, he just couldn't believe what Valeria was saying, so she thinks he's here to take her son away from her, and not just that, she also thinks Ergon had sent him.

"What are you saying, Val?"

"Not a single word from you!" Valeria interrupted fiercely.

"I seriously can't believe the nerve of you and Ergon, so you have come here to take my son away from me? Well, let me tell you one thing." She sniffed, her voice quivering with unshed tears.

"I'll never let anyone take my son away from me. Your damn brother has already rejected us, so you can go back and tell him that I won't give my baby away. Leave my house, Noah!" She screamed in tears.

She pulled his hand and tried pushing him out, but Noah didn't even budge.

Noah got fed up of her actions, he grabbed her arms tightly, making sure she was facing him.

"Get a grip of yourself woman!" He barked, and Valeria flinched.

His sudden outburst seemed to have worked, as Valeria stopped struggling.

"I think...." Valeria interrupted, but Noah cut her off immediately.

Valeria swallowed nothing, the look on his face alone was enough to make her go quiet.

"So, you think I'll stoop so low to that level, and besides, why would I even want to take your son away from you? Why would you even think I told Ergon anything relating to your son? You have nothing to worry about, I'm not here to take your son away, no one is taking him away from you, so please relax, it was a harmless question, but you flared up instead," Noah stated calmly.

Valeria stared deep into his eyes, she could see the sincerity in them, and she managed to calm herself down.

Noah finally let go of her.

"Don't blame me for thinking that, if you were in my shoes, you would have thought the same." She said, Noah sighed.

"But I don't want you to meet my son, at least not yet," Valeria said. Noah furrowed his brow.

She just didn't want Noah or any members of Ergon's family to see Fred, not now, not ever.

And Noah just almost sabotaged her plans, by coming to her apartment unannounced.

What if Fred was there? It would have been another case.

"You're already dressed up for work, right?" Noah asked.

"As you can see!" She scoffed and Noah sighed.

Valeria's behavior is actually getting out of hands, she's just too rude to him.

"Okay, I'll drive you to my company." Noah said, and Valeria frowned, her face.

"Shove it in my face that you have company." She mentally thought.

"No thanks Noah..." She trailed off.

"I mean sir, I don't need your help, I'll just take a taxi." She declined.

"Well then, let me be your taxi driver," Noah said. He wasn't backing out either.

"You don't have to sir, I'm fine." She said.

"I insist, Miss, I don't want you having sun burns because of the scorching sun." Noah said.

"Dummy, I just said I'd take a taxi." She mumbled, but Noah actually heard her, but he decided not to say anything.

"Let's go!" He said and he made to leave.

"I'm not going anywhere with you." Valeria said seriously.

"Why?" He asked but he got no response from her, she only bent her head down, avoiding his gaze.

"Give me a reason why Valeria!" Noah said.
