Alex strides towards his study room, he could hear noise coming from there and picked a candle stand as a weapon against it. Once he got inside, he stopped when he figured out it was Colton who was surprised on seeing Alex reaction.

"You didn't tell you me you would stop over" Alex said trying to cover up his actions.

"I never told you when I stay or not, don't get all riled up" Colton defended as Alex threw the stand in his hand over the table.

"What are you looking for?"

"Just checking out if she took anything valuable because she seemed cunning" Colton responded and Alex found that suspicious as he watched Colton arranging the scattered books over here, he hadn't visited this place since his arrival from ice land. There was silence in the room as Colton confirmed there was nothing missing.

"I showed her" Alex professed in a sudden manner that got Colton perplexed. It wasn't like he shared his plans before carrying them out. Colton closed his eyes for a while and opened them in anger but maintained a calm tone.

"Don't you think it's too early? She might use it against you sooner than expected"

"It's best she knows her role to play" he posed bring out a point on reasons for his actions but Colton was against it.

"You've got to open your heart to her" Colton beckoned giving up in trying to point out the mistake her did while showing Evelyn the eternal sword.

"What If she doesn't fall in love, then what?" Alex snapped frustrated and Colton drew closer to him while placing a book his hand to take a quick look at a passage that read how the curse can wear off.

"Give her a try, I'm affected by this too" Colton tabled as Alex opened the book while placing a finger on the book with a serious gaze.

"It's a process, I can't wait that long for her to..."

"She looks like one who falls for those who gives her time" he buttress as though knew everything about her. Colton just couldn't wait for Alex to be freed but how could that happen when these two weren't willing to fall in love with each other. Just from Alex behavior towards her, how would she yield in?

"You seem to know a lot about her" Alex mocked and suddenly his brow narrowed at a torn page from the spell book.

"The spell sacredpage has been torn out!" He alarm and Colton became anxious over the page.

"You said nothing was missing Colton!" He roared.

"Yes? I didn't check the pages" he defended and Alex growl while pacing to and fro terrified.

"Was she the only one who stepped foot in here?" Alex queried and Colton nodded.

"Then she has it!" He concluded as Colton didn't find her suspicious.

"Stay out of this!" He snapped storming to Evelyn's room. Alex barged inside and viewed that she wasn't inside but rather this place was scattered with papers and he gnashed his teeth in annoyance ashis happens that his assumptions were legit.

"How dare you!" He roared marching out of the room as Colton waited on the stairs for him.

They've taken her" he declared collecting a map from his study room as it seems who Colton defended was at fault.

He held his torch firm in his mouth while taking trail of the path he took, a gun and recorder occupied his hands as he stomp down the slippery hills. He cut off the caution tape , peeped to and fro and hopped to deeper into the dark forest. The phone in his hand lost signal and he cursed at it while striding around if he could get one.

"pictures would do" he suggested bringing out a camera from his bag pack to capture anything unusual and suddenly, he saw ray of light appearing from a distance which got him curious to know what it was all about. He hurried up while hiding behind tall trees to protect himself since he volunteered to look into hidings of what transpired st night in this mysterious hill. While he strainhis eyes to take a clearer view, his gun suddenly fell which made him shuddered and pick it up, before he could lift that head of his, the reflection was gone and he wailed in his heart but stayed quiet as he could hear noises drawing close to where he stood and he covered his mouth with his palm while gazing at alert over the unexpected. His eyes widen at the beadts he saw and once he intended to click on the camera to take a shot, a tree trunk tangled him firmly that it almost got his eyes ploundering out, while he struggled for airm. His veins were visible and seem like it was going to burst due to too much pressure mounted on its owner. His eyes squint at a being whose white hair he could only see. Instantly, the trunk relewed him and he dellto the ground as he left out a cough.

"Oliver, that's your name" a harsh voice screech and he coughed loudly surprised at how this man or woman because he could detect which gender it belongs to. He tried to scrutinized what this being was wearing which seemed like a tunic robe. Was he in a play and happen to appear at the wrong time.

"Curiousity, I love that" the being echoed impressed by the expression on Oliver's face as he seem nervous to know about the mountains and furthering the unaccomplished task of his superior who happens to be in a critical state due to the mountains too.

"Now listen lad, you would report according to what I utter" it ordered bringing out it fang at Oliver who was shivering and wishing he shouldn't have checked in here. The being eyes switched to a raging mauve color as he got lost in them while panting heavily.

"Yes?" He said in a faint voice because he had lost hope of ever surviving the woods.
