Chapter 30: Chapter 30
Entry 2 December XXX
It's me again, Helena. The day started great. It's a good day to celebrate and be happy but not in this palace. The palace's filled with silence, an eerie one. His Majesty, King Uriel, wasn't around because he attended a banquet. Her Majesty, the Queen, did not go because she wasn't feeling well.
It didn't leave my mind what I saw the other day. I knew Her Majesty knows that someone was following her, but why did she decide to hide it? My gut's telling me that the man has something to do about it.
I went out of the room and went to Her Majesty's bed chamber and was surprised to see the man standing and staring at Her Majesty. I gathered all my courage and shouted.
"Who are you!?"
The man looked at me and smiled, it was a devilish one, and he suddenly disappeared.
Cassandra closed the journal and put it back in the drawer to keep it safe. She went out of her room and saw Abegail and Lisanna happily eating their meal. Abegail immediately saw her and smiled.
"How are you feeling?" Abegail asked and handed her a plate. Cassandra sat beside Lisanna and began filling her plate with food placed on the table. She raised her thumb and silently ate while listening to the two talking.
"So, shall we?" Lisanna asked with a big smile on her face. Cassandra looked at them, and she was confused when her friends dragged her back to her room.
"Let's party!" Abegail shouted.
"In this afternoon? Are you kidding me?" Cassandra asked.
"What's wrong with that?" Then we'll have a lot of time to prepare and enjoy," Lisanna said and winked.
"What are you guys talking about?" Cassandra said and let out a sigh. Her friends didn't answer and started rummaging through her closet for a dress. Lisanna pulled out a black off shoulders halter mini dress. It's a long sleeve and fitted perfectly with Cassandra. Lisanna smiled and handed the dress to her. She raised her eyebrows, remembering she brought this dress because she wanted to go to a bar but her twin brother, Blaze, forbade her to go. Cassandra remembered fleeing that night, but her twin followed her.
She danced and danced while drinking, then there's a human boy who tried harassing her, this is where her twin brother, Blaze, snapped and all hell broke loose. They went home together with Blaze having a black eye while her back was full of scratches. Their parents were furious at that time and both of them were ground. It was an amusing memory. Cassandra smiled as she really misses her twin brother right now.
"Try that one, Cassy," Abegail said. Cassandra sighed and took the dress. She went to the bathroom and put the dress on. When she went out, Lisanna smiled and clapped her hands while Abegail had a satisfied look on her face. The curves in Cassandra's body were clear-cut, and her skin color looks very radiant.
"So, why are we going to part suddenly?" Cassandra asked.
"This past few days, we noticed that you are were really stressed in many things so we just wanted you to have fun," Lisanna said while playing with her fingers. Cassandra couldn't help but smile.
"I really appreciate your efforts, girls, but I don't want to go. I just want to stay here and sleep," Cassandra said."
"This is the day that we could party together. Please, just this one?" Lisanna begged. Cassandra hard-headedly shook her head.
"Please? Pretty please with ice cream on top?" Lisanna cutely said while pouting her lips. Abegail chuckled and smacked Lisanna on the head, gently as possible. Cassandra smiled; it's not a bad idea for her to go out and have fun once in a while.
"Yes! Now sit here and leave it to us," Lisanna said. Cassandra sat on the chair obediently while they started putting makeup on her and fixing her hair.
"Done!" they both said at the same time. Cassandra stood up and looked at herself in the vanity mirror; she smiled and twirled her curly hair. Her friends did a great job. They only used light makeup, and no one could even saw how stressed she was and curled her hair on edge.
"So, where are we going?" Cassandra asked after the two finished. They went out of the door and got inside the car, which she didn't know Abegail had.
"Poseidon's Bar!" Lisanna excitedly said. Abegail drove away to where the bar is located. When they arrived, she parked on the space, and they all went out. Lisanna dragged her inside and hurriedly ordered drinks.
"Hey, handsome! Give us one cosmo and margarita please," Lisanna said and winked at the bartender. Cassandra chuckled on her side and watched as the bartender's face turned red.
They found Abegail already dancing to the music on the dance floor. When their order arrived, Cassandra took the margarita and drank it while Lisanna did the same in her cosmo drink.
Lisanna pulled her, and when the margarita spilled on her dress, she laughed heartily.
"Come on, Cassy! Let's dance too!" Lisanna said and pouted. Cassandra shook her head because Lisanna looked like a child when she acts.
"Wait! Let me finish this," Cassandra said and drank the remaining margarita she was holding and let Lisanna dragged her to the dance floor.
Ke$ha's Take it Off resonated throughout the bar. They danced and danced, as nobody cares. An hour passed but Cassandra was still happily dancing when she felt someone was watching her. She stopped and glanced around then she saw Sebastian. His arms were crossed while staring darkly at her. Cassandra couldn't help but bit her lower lip; she decided to stay away from her friends and tried ignoring Sebastian. Cassandra continued dancing, but Sebastian's dark stares gave her goosebumps. She looked at him once again; a mix of nervousness and excitement filled her when Sebastian was slowly walking towards her.
"Fancy seeing you here, love," Sebastian whispered in her ears while his hands firmly gripped her waist. She smiled at him and kissed his cheeks. She doesn't know how much alcohol she had a drink in those hours she was dancing with her friends.
"You didn't bring your girl with you?" Cassandra sarcastically asked.
"You're my only girl," Sebastian gently said. He stroked her upper arm with the back of his hand, and the other one gently touches my back. She closed her eyes and couldn't help but purred.
She could feel thousands of electricity flowing in her body by just a mere touch coming from Sebastian. He intently looked at her. Cassandra smiled when something naughty pop up inside of her head. She clung her body closed to him and seductively swayed her hips. She let her body followed the music's beat.
"Fuck this!" Sebastian quietly cursed under his breath and gently pulled Cassandra's hair, slamming his lips into her. Cassandra moaned and immediately wrapped her legs around him as he lifted her off the ground. She could feel him pressed himself against me. The kiss was torrid and intense. They were still in the middle of the dance floor and shamelessly making out, but none cared.
"Shit. Damn it, wife, you are fucking hot," Sebastian said and kissed her nape.
"Hmm, yeah," Cassandra moaned again. Sebastian kissed her, but she pushed him away.
"See you later, love," Cassandra said with a playful smile and left the shock, Sebastian. She bet Sebastian didn't saw that coming. She went to Abegail and Lisanna, who were smiling at her.
"Damn, girl! That was hot!" Lisanna said.
"Where did you get that fucking confidence? Wow, girl! I am so proud of you!" Abegail said and held her hand. Cassandra laughed and leaned on the stool because she could feel her knees trembling. She didn't actually know how did she arrive into her friends' position without falling or tripping. They paid the bills and left the bar.
Cassandra touched her face and smile. She could still feel Sebastian's lips on her. If not for Abegail in Lisanna, who was with her inside the car, she would scream so loud because of happiness.
"The best night out ever!" Lisanna said, and they all agreed. This is the best night out of her life.
