Chapter 28: Chapter 28

In the boys' dormitory, Sebastian has his own private room. It was his father's personal request. He poured the beer into the glass and drink it. He badly wanted to see Cassandra and hug her.

"Damn it to hell!" Sebastian cursed under his breath. He misses her so much. Her scent, her lips, and even her laugh, Sebastian missed all of it. If it wasn't because of the Council, he would go to her this instant.

"I'm going crazy," he murmured and chuckled.

"Sebby! What are you doing?" Joana asked and hugged him from behind. She stole Sebastian's key and have it replicate so she could freely roam around his room. Sebastian rolled his eyes.

"Go away, Joanna. I'm not in the mood to talk or to listen to you," Sebastian calmly said as possible and removed her hands from him. He was thinking of Cassandra. If she was doing well, eating healthily, or sleeping soundly because, in his case, he's not okay.

"SEBBY! ARE YOU LISTENING TO ME?!" Joanna screamed in high pitched voice. Sebastian turned his head and glared at her.

"It's about our wedding sebby, we need to prepare for it!" Joana said while her hands were on her waist. "We have to plan where to held the wedding or the cake, the motif, everything!" she added hysterically. She was about to kiss Sebastian, but he avoided it. He doesn't want to hear about the wedding. For him, it's absolute nonsense and a careless action of the Council.

Sebastian won't marry Joana. If it was his mate, Cassandra, then he'll gladly marry her without a second thought.

"I don't want to talk about it, Joana! Go away!" Sebastian said. Joana was really testing his patience. "I'm not in the fucking mood to talk to you. Now get lost!" he added angrily. Sebastian knows he's rude, but he doesn't want to see her or deal with shits. Joana cowered in fear and immediately left his room. He pinched the bridge of his nose and scratched his nape. He could feel a headache coming in. Sebastian transferred to the couch and grabbed a poster on the table.

It's about the missing girls on the campus. Sebastian's forehead creased. He picked up his phone and called Oliver's number.

"What is it?" Oliver asked when he picked up the call

"Did you read the poster? About those girls?" Sebastian asked while he was holding the poster in his hand.

"Yes. I just brought Abegail and Lisanna back to their dorm. I wanted to make sure that they are safe," Oliver said,

"What about Cassandra? Is she alright? Is she safe?" Sebastian asked worriedly

"Yes. Abby said Cassy is alright," Oliver replied. His worries died down, hearing that his mate is safe. Sebastian thanked him and ended the call. He leaned on the couch and cursed the Council for planning the stupid wedding. He drank the remaining beer and went inside his room.

"Wait for me, love," Sebastian whispered in the air.

In the girls' dorm where Cassandra was residing, she felt someone caressing her cheeks. She quickly opened her eyes, ready to scream because she was expecting a thief or bad person, but it was none other than her mate.

"Blood? What are you doing here?!" Cassandra asked. She couldn't believe what she saw right now.

"Did I wake you up? I'm sorry, I just want to see you," Sebastian said and hiccupped. Cassandra's forehead creased, and she pulled Sebastian to sit on her side.

"Are you drunk?!" Cassandra asked angrily while touching his face. Sebastian smiled and kissed her cheeks. Her heart almost melted because of what he did.

"I'm not drunk. Just a little, I think," Sebastian unsurely said and sheepishly smiled. Cassandra let out a long sigh.

"What the hell happened to you?" Cassandra whispered. "You need to go back to your dorm, Blood," she added and gently tugged his shirt.

"I'm not going anywhere," Sebastian said, slurring his words. Cassandra wanted to smack him for being defiant.

"Where are you going?" Sebastian asked. Cassandra ignored him and went to get cloth on the cabinet. She dipped the fabric on the sink of her bathroom, enough to dampen it. When she went back, Sebastian was already lying down on her bed. Cassandra switched on the lights and moved Sebastian properly. She removed his shoes and began unbuttoning his shirt.

Cassandra wiped the cloth from his face down to his body. Sebastian held his hands while his eyes were still closed.

"I really don't want to marry her. Hell, I don't even love her," Sebastian mumbled. Cassandra could feel her heartbeats fastened. She wanted to cry.

"I love you, Cassandra. You are the one I want. I love you," Sebastian said and let go of her hand. This is where Cassandra cried buckets of tears. Hearing her mate professed his love to her made her utterly happy. She wiped her tears and lay down beside him.

"I love you too, Sebastian Alistair Blood," Cassandra whispered in his ear and smiled. "Goodnight my King," she added and kiss him on the lips. She closed her eyes, hoping to wake up, and everything's going to be okay.
