Chapter 26: Chapter 26
Cassandra stared at the clock hanging on the wall of her room and let out a sigh. She doesn't have plans to go to her class today. Two days, it's been two days, but there's no sign of Sebastian everywhere. He didn't even visit her. She was frustrated as hell when she remembered Sebastian chose to be with Joana.
"Cassy?" Lisanna called her outside of her room. For the nth time, Cassandra sighed. "Yes?" Cassandra simply asked.
"You're not coming with us?" Lisanna asked. Cassandra stared at the ceiling and close her eyes.
"No," Cassandra replied. She heard Lisanna's footsteps walked away from her room. "You there?" she asked her wolf but got no response. For days, Cassandra couldn't get ahold of her wolf. It happened when Sebastian was a jerk. Her wolf distanced herself from her.
"What is it?" Cassandra heard her wolf, Christine asked.
"I missed you," Cassandra honestly said.
"I missed you too, Cassy," her wolf replied.
"Let's run," Cassandra suggested excitedly. Her wolf agreed quickly because she hasn't shifted for days. She hurriedly stood up and grabbed t her clothes from the cabinet. Cassandra put it into a small bag and brought it outside. After walking, she found the vast forest and smiled. She closed her eyes and listened to nature's sound.
"Relaxing," Cassandra mumbled. She opened her eyes and ran as fast as she can inside the forest. She shifted mid-air and landed on all fours.
"I miss this!" she screamed through the mind link and laughed like an idiot.
"Me too!" her wolf said and smiled. Cassandra ran and ran. She ran away from her mate, away from the drama, away from the bitches she hates, away from the world, and away from everyone. It's just her and her wolf.
After an hour of running through the forest, Cassandra shifted back to her human form and slumped on the ground while panting heavily. She's already dressed in a hoodie and shorts.
"That was amazing!" Cassandra said while laughing, to which her wolf agreed. She knew her wolf's back and will not leave her again.
"I think we should head back, Cassy," her wolf suddenly said. "You need to go to class, too," her wolf added. Cassandra wanted to refuse, but her wolf's right. She needs to go to her class because sulking won't let help her. Cassandra walked back to the dorm and prepared a small meal for herself.
"Gosh, this tastes good," Cassandra mumbled.
"Why aren't you in class, love?" a voice said that almost made Cassandra choked on her food. She slowly turned her body and saw the man that she loves. With haste, Cassandra picked up a glass and threw it on him.
"What the fuck are you doing here!?" Cassandra angrily said. Slowly, Sebastian walked towards her holding the glass that he manages to caught.
"I miss you," Sebastian said quietly. Cassandra grabbed the plate beside her and threw it to him again. Anything that she can get ahold of, she will throw it to him.
"Stop it!" Sebastian seriously said. She was about to throw another plate, but Sebastian pulled her to him and hugged her. Cassandra kept struggling, but he tightly hugged her so she couldn't get away.
"I miss you," Sebastian whispered. Cassandra stopped struggling. "I fucking miss you Cassandra," he added. She pushed him away and took a step backward.
"No. No, you're lying," Cassandra said while shaking her head. Sebastian tried reaching out for her, but she kept taking a step away from him. She went pale when she felt her back hit against the wall, trapping her.
"Love," Sebastian whispered.
"No! No! Stay where you are, Blood!" Cassandra yelled, but he didn't listen. Sebastian placed his hand on the wall, next to her head.
"Cassandra, my love," Sebastian said. His deep blue eyes stared into her brown ones. His calloused hands cupped my cheeks, and he pulled me towards him. Sebastian slowly leaned and kissed her. All the pain and all my fears, she felt instantly melted away. Sebastian's kiss had been so powerful that it undid every bit of her.
Cassandra closed her eyes, wrapped her arms around his neck, pulled him closer to her, and responded to his kisses. She wanted to savor the moment. Sebastian lifted her off the ground, and she hurriedly wrapped her legs around his waist.
"Damn! I fucking miss this," Sebastian said. Cassandra's eyes went wide. She was about to push him away from her, but Sebastian kissed her once more. He kissed her more demanding and more profound.
"Hmm," Cassandra moaned. She wanted to stop, but her body was betraying her. She couldn't think properly because of his kisses. Sebastian put her down and kissed her on the forehead. This is where Cassandra snapped back from her thoughts and pushed him away.
"Go away, Blood!" Cassandra said, and she slowly slumped on the tiled floor.
"Cassandra," Sebastian called and tried reaching her to help her get up, but she screamed once again.
"Go away!" Cassandra said while crying. Sebastian cursed under his breath and repeatedly punch the wall. It created a small hole due to the intensity of his punch.
"Fuck!" Sebastian uttered and left the room. Cassandra stood up and sat down on the couch. She cried and cried, then the realization hit her. Cassandra needs Sebastian; she needs her mate.
"What the hell are you doing, Cassy?" Cassandra mumbled. She couldn't live without him.
"No, no, where is, Blood? I need him," Cassandra kept muttering while glancing around, searching for Sebastian. She hurriedly stood up and ran outside the dorm, but Sebastian was already gone.
"He's not here," Cassandra whispered and covered her mouth. "He's not here," she said and wept.
