Chapter 15: Chapter 15
CHAPTER 15: THE ARRIVAL
Ethan arrives at the old mansion of his grandfather. He was carrying the clothes of Alyssa. As soon as he entered the house, his grandfather welcomes him immediately.
"Ethan, how are you? How is your business going?" Master Guang asked.
"It's okay grandpa, my business is doing pretty well now, so I have a lot of free time," Ethan responded to his grandfather.
"Oh, good to know, but you must remember this grandson, don't be complacent. You have to focus on your business. You never know when your opponent will attack." Master Guang advised his grandson.
"Okay, grandpa, I will," Ethan answered with a smile.
"By the way, why did you call us? What is the occasion, grandpa?" Ethan asked.
Master Guang sighed before answering his grandson. "Your aunt is going home with her family, and they will come tonight."
Ethan exclaimed at what Master Guang had said, "What! Aunt is going home, and she still dares to go home? After what she did before? Just like that, and grandpa, why did you agree? Is the death of our parents is no value to you at all?"
"Ethan, do not be like that even if your aunt is at fault but remember that you are still related to her, and she is my daughter, and one thing, she did not kill your parents. We have proven that. You know that it was the opponent of your dad to business." Master Guang explained.
"But grandpa-...," Before Ethan could continue what he was about to say, Leonard came, and then he stopped him. "Ethan, stop!"
Ethan and Master Guang turn to Leonard. Ethan stopped talking and approached Leonard grimaced as he gave his brother what he was holding with force. Leonard was speechless as he accepted it.

Ethan continued walking until he reached the large garden of his grandpa. He went to the old fish pond and sat down on the small chair located on its side. When he was a child, he remembered that he had a playmate. It was a young girl. They always play near the pond, but he could not remember its face and name.
He even remembered that whenever he felt sad, the pond is his refuge because when Ethan sees the different colors of the fish, his sadness disappears, and it was the place he first met his playmate.
As Ethan stared at the fish, he became thankful that his grandfather has preserved the pond.
"I'm right. You are here."
Ethan turned to the one who speaks. It was his brother Leonard.
"What are you doing here?" Ethan asked his brother annoyingly.
It approached him and put his right hand on his shoulder. "Forgive me earlier if I stopped you, but I want you to know that I did it on purpose," Leonard said.
Ethan looked at his older brother. He didn't know what it meant.
"I was waiting for our aunt to return," Leonard added.
The eyes of Ethan widened at what the older brother had said.
"What? Why? What are you planning?" Ethan asked, confused. Leonard smiled at his brother, "You will know at the right time," Leonard answered.
*****
I woke up from my sleep, and I looked around. Hoping that I would have seen my husband but he is not here in this big room.
"Tsk, what else do you expect, Alyssa, that he will watch over you? In your dreams!" I said to myself.
I got up from the bed and fixed it. When I had finished arranging the bed, I approached the large mirror to observe my beautiful face. Then I sit down. I slowly touched my reddish cheeks down to my thin lips.
I remembered what the make-up artist had told me at my wedding. She praised my beautiful face and said that my husband would only stare at me, but this was not what happened. My tears dripped. I wiped my tears with my hand, picked up the comb that was on the dresser, and then slowly combed it into my long black hair.
Suddenly, the door opened. I turned around and saw my husband entering the room, but I turned back to the mirror and continue combing my hair. As if I hadn't seen him. I noticed that he was holding a bag and laid it on the floor, but I don't dare ask.
He approached me, but I pretended I didn't notice him. He reached out his hand on my back gets closer and closer to the side of my hair until his big finger caressed the strand of my hair. I stopped combing my hair and put my right hand on the dresser holding the comb, and I stopped moving.
He continued caressing the strands of my long black hair. I let him touch my hair as if I was waiting for this opportunity. Then my heart slowly beats faster again. As if excited as he approached.
He bends a little towards me. That I could almost feel his chest touching my hair and even his breathing. I can already feel it, and then suddenly, there seemed to be electricity flowing through my veins. Which makes me feel even more nervous.
He took the comb I was holding in my hand. While I silently let go of the comb and voluntarily give it to him. Then he proceeded to comb my long black hair.
"You have nice healthy long hair," he compliments.
"Thanks," I answered him.
"By the way, the one in the bag I was carrying contained your clothes. You can put it in the closet temporarily," he added.
"Okay, thanks again," I replied to him.
He answered me with a smile and slowly let go of my hair, and said, "Get dressed, dinner will serve soon, and my aunt, her husband, and her children will come."
I nodded at him while looking at him. He smiled at me then left the room. I wonder why my husband seems happy. I was thinking maybe because he was looking forward to the arrival of his aunt, so I decided to impress his aunt.
