"I don't know why you're surprised though. You of all people should know him more than any other person." She said smiling and rolled her eyes.

"And that's why, I'm surprised that he apologized to you. Ken is not the type who can easily apologized to someone." I replied.

"Okay, let me tell you about it. After you left the room earlier with Janet, he apologized to me. He told me he was sorry for hiding it from me right from the beginning."

"So, does that mean, he knows you're your mom's daughter and yet, still made you stay in that hell of a cell?."

"Not really. Okay, this is how our conversation go..."

Flashback

"Erm .. I'm sorry Tiana." He said and I looked at him confused.

"Huh?."

"For what happened, for hiding it from you." He explained further.

"But Ken, that was unfair. You know who I am right from the beginning and also, aware that my mom is alive but yet, you hid it from me despite knowing that my disappearance is affecting her."

"No, Tiana. I have no idea you were the Tiana we've been searching for all these years. I get to know about you the day, I decided to look into your profile. That was when you were about to be released from the jail... I asked my private investigator to do some search about you and turned out, you're the Tiana I've been searching for."

"H.. how is that even possible? How can you know about me just like that with just a little bit information about me."

"When it comes to Kenneth Domanco, nothing is impossible. That was how, I did my research on your friend before coming to her to offer her a deal. Look, let's keep all of that aside for another day, okay?."

"Do not get too upset at your friend. Her only fault was, not telling you about your uncle who made you that way. She has no idea your mom is still alive. I hide the whole truth from her because I know her too well. She won't be able to keep it a secret from you."

"But why? Why don't you want me to meet my mom? Because of my uncle?."

"Yes and no. By meeting her, you might not have that urge to fight for what rightfully belongs to you and that's why, I hid it from you."

"When you said, what rightfully belongs to me, you mean, my father's inheritance?."

"Yes. I'm sure by now, you know who your father is? He used to be the prime minister of this country and also, one of the wealthiest billionaire."

"Yes, I do." I replied with a sigh.

"Now, that you know about who you're, I will advise you to be strong especially, for your mother. I've been doing some search about your late father's will and learned, he left everything in your name even before meeting your mom. I believe, he did that arrangements before meeting with your mom. I also found out, there was one of his Butler who was aware of the Will but, was against it when your uncle decided to take over everything. I'm finding him now, when I get hold of that Butler, I will let you."

"R.. re.. really?."

"Yes, Christy."

"Christy?." I asked confused and shocked. Only two persons call me that, Janet and her cousin brother. And that cousin brother is... Kenneth! How could I have forgotten so easily again?

"Why? Have you forgotten the name I gave you years back even though, we've never met but at least, we do talk in phone and Skype once in a while?." He teased me.

"You still remember?."

"Of course, I do. Just that, you grew up into a beautiful lady and, it's hard to detect that it was you. Remember, I love and treated you in same way I did for Janet. I've always seen you as a little sister. You don't know how happy I was the day I learned, you're the same Tiana I've been searching for. I'm glad, you're alive and safe. Welcome back home and I promise to do anything in my power to make sure, you get what rightfully belongs to you."

"Thank you so much, Ken. I can't believe, I have a short memory and, I couldn't recognize neither you nor my friend at first glance. Thank you so much."

"It's fine but, do not get upset at Chloe. Believe me when I said, she has no idea about what she been going on. The only thing she knew was about your uncle who killed your parents and that's all. She wanted to help you by not making you be in a burden full of revenge... That's all."

"Okay, I've heard all that you said."

"I need to go now after Janet... You know how she can be sometimes."

"So, you two used to be close years back?." I can't help but to ask her.

"Hmmm." She hummed. "He used to be like an elder brother to me." She added.

"That's good. So, you forgive me because he asked you to do that?."

"No! Are you crazy?! It might be part of it but... Of course, you're my sister. No matter how I'm mad at you, I will have to forgive you." She said and smiled a little.

"Oh! Really? Does that mean, you're no longer upset at me?."

"Little."

"Little, little." I teased and started tickling her even though, I'm not that strong but yet, I ended up stressing my day more with all that has been happening from the past hours.

"Chloe, stop it! I hope, you know that you're not strong yet." She said through laughter.

"Whatever!" I mumbled and stopped.

"So, what do we do about Janet?."

"I told you right? Allow her do whatever she feel is the best. If she report me to her parents and family then, it's fine. I will take that as my fate and forget about Ken. After all, I didn't bridge the contract so, I have nothing to pay him."

We both talk for a while and most especially, about her mom. She will be coming over to the house in the next few days but before then, her room needed to be arrange well. Tiana couldn't spend the night with her because, she told her mom about me and she felt, it wouldn't be nice to leave me all alone here by myself. Tiana can spend the rest of the days with her but tonight, she feels... She needed to come back home and, turned out my friend has been so worried sick about me too that, she couldn't hide it from her mom. She found out she's worried about me and sent her over to me.

What a great woman. Indeed, Tiana is her mother's daughter. She took after her mother's heart. "So, my dear friend will get up now and and take your drugs."

"Yes, I will do that once I get in my room."

"No, can do and yes, can't do my dear friend."

"What do you mean?." I looked at her confused.

"That's because, I know the kind of person that you're. You hate drugs, remember? Then, when you were been given drugs, you always throws them under the bed." She said, making me to widen my eyes in shock.

"H... Ho... How did you... How did you know that?."

"I always find the drugs, under your bed and intentionally turned into a blind eye. So, my dear friend, you're taking the drugs right in front of my presence now and there's no going back. Plus, you'll be sleeping in my room tonight after all, the bed is big enough to contain the two of us."

"What?!!!! Why?!!"

"What do you mean, why? I will be spending some few days at Mom's place and, I'm going to miss you. Isn't that enough?."

"Thank goodness, you said... Few days and not years. For goodness sake, Tiana... You're not going there to stay forever... You're still coming back home in few days time."

"I know but still, I feel like I will be leaving you forever." She pout and I smack her arm.

"Stop being silly and concentrate, you crazy girl."

Just in time, Stanley walked in. "Ma'am, is there anything you would care for? Non of you has eaten your dinner yet." She said in a careful tone.

"It's fine, Stanley. You can just serve us apple and soda can. That will be fine." Tiana said to her.

"Okay. I will get it ready now." Before she could turn around to leave, she stopped her again. "Erm, Stanley... Could you please get the drugs at Chloe's room when coming? She will be staying here in my room tonight plus, you can serve us the fruit here, there will be no need to come to the dining." She added.

"Okay." She bowed and leave the room. Stanley is a nice girl and I like her too.

"You know, we still have a lot to talk about. How in the world, did you develop ulcer? And, how was your first meeting with Ken's parents? Do they like you? And, how did you get to know Aunt? She won't stop talking about you earlier when I met with her."

"Aunt?."

"Janet's mother."

"Oh!" That's all I could say.

"Come on, tell me what happened. She won't stop talking about you and even advised me and Janet to be close friends with you. What did you do to them?." She questioned me in an eager tone.

"How many of your questions do you want me to answer?." I asked rolling my eyes.

"Everything. Answer everything without leaving one out of it. I don't mind us not sleeping early. Thank goodness, tomorrow is Saturday."

"So, because tomorrow is Saturday, we shouldn't sleep early?."

"Why are you complaining, silly." She hissed and hit my arm roughly.

"Ouch!!" I glared at her.

"What? What have you done all through today except sleeping and watching movies? So, don't you dare give me that. Come on, tell me what happened?."

"Well, turned out they all like me and-"

"They?." She cut me off.

"Yes, everyone of them... Including his father too. Janet especially, she seems nice towards me but I think, after all that has happened earlier, after all that she witnessed and knowing the fact that, I'm not who they thought of me to be, everything will change. She's definitely going to tell her family about me and that will be the end of everything I've worked so hard for. I'm confused, I don't know what to do anymore. I'm seriously disturbed about the whole thing but, has no idea of how to go about it. If, her family knows the truth about me then, I'm doomed seriously Tiana. I thought, it won't affect me even if they comes to know the real truth but to be sincere with you, I've been disturbed. For what reason did I go all the way to change my facial look? Just no to be caught by them."

"Wait, what?!!! You mean, you didn't do that because of your intend revenge but, for Ken's parents?." Tiana asked me.
