Chapter 65: Chapter 65

Ray looked at his sister uncertainly. "You really won't hold it against me?"

Alexa once asked whether Ray was ready for a bad reputation because he chose her to be his girlfriend. Now that he had met his sister and discussed the matter, he knew what Alexa meant about the bad reputation at that time.

Alexa must feel insecure about her status.

Even though Ray was sure, he was afraid that anyone from his family would hurt her. Even if it was his own sister.

"I can't possibly hold it against you, Ray. That's your choice." Yasmin assured him completely. "You've been rebellious since childhood. You can't be stopped. Even when I forbade you from racing, you still did it and got yourself into a ravine. Do you think this time I have a chance to stop you again?"

Ray grimaced.

"Now I'm only in charge of watching over you, you can do whatever you think is good. Only if you bring yourself to the hole again, at that time I won't stop."

Ray couldn't stop himself from feeling moved. "Ow, you're so cute today, Big Sister."

Hearing he call her 'sister', it was clear that he was teasing her. She pinched his arm again, as hard as she could. This time he was really in pain.

Even though her family had experienced the worst, she knew that her brother was still here without a trace of weakness.

Their family was indeed a collection of some stubborn people. Their mother's gentle demeanor was only passed down to them in some percentage. However, Ray seemed to have taken on more of this inherited trait than Yasmin. So when Ray, who used to be quite naughty and delinquent, after he had an accident, that bad nature slowly faded away, and he was now very kind and gentle.

Yasmin really liked her brother like this.

She chased him again. "So are you going to tell me about your new girlfriend or not?"

Ray got excited. "Of course! She is a beautiful and independent woman, she is a widow with one child."

Yasmin, "..."

Ray, "Her kid looks a lot like me when I was little! His eyes are blue too."

Yasmin, "..............."

Ray, "The first time we met, the kid called me Daddy! Isn't that cute?"

Yasmin, "................................."

That was not funny! This needed to be questioned clearly!

Yasmin was dazed, looked at the table in a daze, then looked at Ray in a daze. "Ray, don't be kidding."

Ray chuckled. "Why should I?"

'Because what you said is so unreasonable! It's like you're doing fairy tale nonsense to a child!' Yasmin said to herself painfully.

Maybe after entering the ravine, her younger brother changed not because he hit his head, but he exchanged his soul with another person.

Just in case, she will collect the number of a psychiatric doctor.

Before she said anything else, the phone screen was placed in front of her face. Ray moved to sit next to her, a place he had previously avoided for fear of being hit. Now! Take a look! Her little brother was unpredictable.

'Dad, he's clearly immature!'

"Look at this, Yasmin." Ray was very excited.

At first Yasmin didn't really care, as soon as her eyes fell on the photos she was scrolling through, she almost went blind. Not only because Ray and the little boy were similar, but their style of taking photos has not changed from time to time. Just two people looking at the camera with the same expression and the same pose, the only thing that changes was sometimes the lighting and background of the photo.

"Ray, you edited your photo when you were little and stuck it here?" Yasmin couldn't believe it.

"Are you blind?"

"Of course. Looking at the unchanging photo style in all the photos, how can others not be blind?" Yasmin scrolled through all the photos and really wanted to slam the phone.

"This is Fillo, Alexa's daughter!"

"And this Alexa ... your girlfriend's name?"

"Yep."

Then Yasmin's hands shook. "Ray, are you sure you're not his biological father?"

Ray sighed. "No. I've proven it. You know doppelgangers, right? That's what it's like."

Yasmin had already said she would believe Ray, so she didn't ask any more questions. She kept looking at photos of Ray and Fillo, sometimes zoom in them too. These two people were truly almost identical, although there were some subtle differences. She continued to scroll through the photo gallery, almost several other photos have the same pose. Her eyes immediately hurt.

Why wasn't her handsome little brother photogenic? He used to date a model, okay?!

"Why don't I see your girlfriend's photo?"

"She doesn't like taking photos." Ray took out his phone and smiled at the photo of him and his little peanut. "If she finds out I took this photo, she'll probably go berserk."

Yasmin, "!!!"

Ray explained, "She doesn't like her son taking photos with strangers."

"Even when you two were getting married, she still considered you a stranger?"

Ray had expected that his sister would not understand Alexa's character, especially since they had never met.

"Sis, you are a woman too. You know how some women are so difficult to understand. Alexa is no exception."

"Ray, thinking that her own boyfriend is a stranger is too much."

Ray knew why Yasmin misunderstood. "Actually, she has never been married, she was pregnant without a husband, and was thrown out of the house because of her pregnancy. She was a little traumatized by men."

It was only when she heard this that she sympathized a little. Pregnancy without a husband in this country is common, but of course there are some women who want to have children after they get married. If a person like this had a child before marriage, she would definitely be pregnant because she was raped by a savage man.

"Who was the bastard who got her pregnant? Her fate was truly unfortunate." Yasmin felt her heart ache.

Ray shrugged. "I also want to kill him, if I get the chance."

Yasmin sighed.

"Try to bring her to see me, I wanna get to know her better," she said softly.

"She is beautiful. You will definitely agree to accept her." Ray said proudly.

"Of course, your sister is curious about what the woman you fell in love with is like."

The two of them laughed and ended up throwing insults at each other. Then Ray's  phone suddenly rang and a message came in. This rarely happened, even when a colleague urgently needed his help.

The content of the message was long and polite. At the end of the message, there was a name of a familiar place.

Ray frowned. "I'll go first. I have something important to do."

Yasmin nodded. "Work?"

"No, my son's playground nurse asked me to come."

Yasmin was stunned, repeating to herself, 'My son's. Playground. Nurse.'

And lost the opportunity to ask because Ray had already left, leaving some money for the coffee on the table.
